Everything else is simply fluff for the non comic book nerds. I'm in San Diego and if I need something that's a Key book I go to this guy because 9 out of 10 times he's had what I'm looking for and honestly way below going price. Service is what I would expect. Slow, some thinking and then the light goes off and he's off to find the book you want. If he doesn't have it he knows and it's next question. Loves to shoot the sh!t and I could share comic convention stories all day long with him. Honestly if you're looking for a back issue or a key issue give him a call. He probably has it.

I've seen MULTIPLE accounts acknowledge he prepared his cannabis in front of them. DEFINITELY NOT A FAMILY STORE. DO NOT GO OR BRING YOUR CHILD HERE IF ITS THE FIRST TIME BEING IN A COMIC SHOP. I was so offended instead of purchasing $40 of titles i just dropped them off so he can work for free putting them all back since I put Spectacular spiderman in the amazing spiderman section waiting for me to make a mistake and when I made a mistake it goes over her all rude I thought you liked my sign I said I liked your sign because I thought it was hilarious a business would have that off putting sign dumbass I try to put stuff back and you act that way? I think some of the of books were out of place from topics but for the most part, it was kept clean. Lot of the products and books were in pretty good condition. Some products were a little pricey for secondhand use..but nonetheless pretty cool spot. Service was alright--didn't really talk to the staff all that much and they seemed pretty busy organizing the books and shelving. The cashier that helped me didn't really give me any vibe other than he was just there to do his job which isn't a bad thing but I've definitely experienced more hospitable customer service at other book stores.

Bonus points: he plays Magic: The Gathering himself, so if you want to talk MTG, you're not just getting a sales pitch--you're talking to a fellow player. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful too. If you're hunting for something specific or have a question, just ask. They've also thought about the necessities of an extended gaming session: chips, candy, and chilled drinks are available to keep hunger at bay while you battle your way to victory--or, in my case, potentially make a series of questionable strategic decisions. There's even a restroom in the store, which becomes increasingly important the longer those gaming sessions go. Uhm, SOME records is a severe under-exaggeration of what's offered at 1 Look. When we walked in, Davey immediately greeted us and asked what we were looking for so we pulled up a list of some records on a "hit list," then browsed around while he checked to see if he had any of them. Meanwhile, I hunted around - everything is in total organized chaos, with records everywhere, but clearly labeled by genre. The first record I pulled was Biggie's Ready to Die, which was an obvious must buy. We chatted music while searching and when I mentioned I was a Wu Tang fan, he put on one of GZA's first tracks that really kicked things off, that was unknown to me. Davey is someone who knows music and seems to really love what he does. The shop also features a ton of awesome vintage clothes, comic books, and different nostalgic items (plus VHS and DVDs too, which definitely made me feel old). We left with 4 records at great prices and will continue to come back anytime we're in Huntington! Such a unique space that you could spend HOURS in and not uncover all the magic in that place.

I think that this location does have more variety compared to other locations and you will find yourself spending a while because there is so much to look at.

I'm surprised this store is still opened considering their extreme overpriced greed and damaged products being traded for 2 dollars and sold at 30.
