Absolutely loved this place. Came to study on a Thursday night in the upstairs and the atmosphere was very chill and study-friendly. Wasn't so happy about the $5 parking but that was made up by the delicious hot coffee and chocolate muffin (next time I'll just find free parking a bit further up on the side streets of Oregon then walk it). Some cons: the hard seats made it kind of uncomfortable to study but was made up by the mellow music playing and nice lighting that let me read in a relaxed atmosphere. I moved to El Paso from San Diego and searching for a good coffee spot was really important to me. I saw this and saved it so I can try. Well my husband ended up ordering me a pumpkin spice latte from there as a surprise! So my review is only based off of the taste of the pumpkin spice latte. I was sadly disappointed. I really wanted to love this place. The latte had too much, maybe nutmeg or some seasoning that made it almost taste like dirt. That's the only way I can describe it. This doesn't mean I'm not returning I like to experience everything and I will try another drink. Crossing my fingers for the next time!! read more

I don't know how the Coffee Box doesn't have more reviews, it's a great little place. I work in the Chase building and so I park in the Coffee Box parking lot. I love this place. The service is always great and even if there's a long line, they try and hurry up to get everyone's orders out. Francis is amazing, she's the sweet lady in the mornings - very nice and always very cheerful. They have a good selection of coffee orders, teas and smoothies. Yes, their food selection is small, but the place is eety beety, there's no room for more food choices. The coffee is Building Six, so it's good coffee. Next time you're in the downtown area, give this place a shot, their tip jars are always cute! read more

Saw this cute container box coffee shop on my way in from Phoenix. Since I am staying around the corner, thought I'd stop in for some breakfast and coffee. First off, the coffee is really good especially after a long concert the night before. There's a 2nd story patio and vibrant music being filtered through. It's centrally located right down town. Seems to have wifi but you'll need a pw. Theres a couple things that I would recommend for a better customer experience. First, have some savory pastries available. Not everyone is looking for something sweet. The bagels need to go! They are awful and remind me of something I'd get at a circle k. There's so many great bagel makers these days that this business would benefit from contracting with one. Also, spread the cream cheese on the bagel for your customers. Being provided with a flimsy plastic knife and a small tub of cream cheese just doesn't work. Lastly, stocking stevia packets would be a great addition for those that don't do sugar or Splenda. I feel with these simple changes, it'll bring this coffee shop up to par with some of the best! read more

No, no, and no! I am an avid coffee lover and I was really looking forward to this place.... I was at the Winterfest and after all what a better way to stay warm than a delicious cup of coffee. I was so excited to try it that I was absolutely willing to wait in the long line even though my husband kept complaining! As I looked through the window I saw a couple of things like Bldg 6 Coffee which I absolutely love, cheap espresso machines which was a bad sign, and the type of sweeteners that you find at any gas station. Anyway I didn't allow that to deter me. I ordered hot chocolates for my kiddos, Carmel Latte for me, and Pumpkin Spice Latte for the hubster. Sadly I was so disappointed .... All our drinks were severely over sweetened to the point where all we could taste was the syrup and it's after taste! The coffee if there was any in there was tasteless. It was so bad in fact that we ended up throwing it in the trash. The hot chocolate I didn't try but not one of my kids liked it, and it was $3.75 for a small cup. To sum it all up this coffee shop which could have so much potential killed good quality coffee with loads of cheap syrup and crappy coffee machines. To say the least if you cannot master the one thing you sell you are not worth my time or money! Sorry Coffee Box but your Lattes are worse than gas station quality at best! read more

Pretty good. Espresso shot was a bit under extracted and bitter, I didjt know what i was getting myself into with the goat milk latte. It just tasted like someone dunked goat cheese into my latte and left an odd taste in my mouth but if you like goat milk then you'll love the goat milk latte. I really wanted to like this unique architectural coffee shop in downtown, but neither of the drinks I tried were very good. I chose to park and walk inside to order, and tried the iced coconut latte. We also ordered an iced white chocolate mocha, and they both came out very quickly, even though there was a line of people waiting in front of us. They were both terrible. The coconut drink wasn't as sweet, but it was very thin and just tasted off. The mocha was way too sweet. We ended up taking about 4 sips of each then pouring them out. I am not an avid coffee drinker I may drink two cups a whole year. I refuse to go the route of Starbucks. The coffee box is an excellent place for a meet up and delicious coffee. The location is in the heart of downtown which has started to boom. Right next to San Jacinto plaza makes this location perfect for a stroll in the park with friends, family or loved ones. Cold or hot drinks are available for your choice. They also have a assortment of pound cakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, and macaroons. It right off of Mesa so if you are in a rush just call in the order curb side park and grab the coffee on the go. The service is good I have sat here and the girl knew 4 of the customers orders as they approached the counter. Brilliant concept. A coffee shop located in two shipping containers. Bottom container is where you order drinks. There's a couple bar stools but nothing special. The upstairs has outdoor furniture and a second container which contains leather (pleather) chairs, local art, and some tables. Very cool. Its perfectly located next to one of the main parking areas on mesa. So you can park the car, grab your coffee, and then head into work. Service was fast, polite, and friendly. read more

There's seating in the lower level box, as well as on an upper deck patio and into a second storage box. There's some cool local art on display in there, with couches and more tables. This place sells some of the best coffee in the city! I ordered a horchata latte and it had an incredibly intense flavor...the mix of espresso and the sweetness from the horchata flavor were an excellent combination. They're open somewhat late as well when it's date night and you don't want the night to end just yet. read more

Came here in a win. They make great ice coffees and frappes. My recommendation try the Matcha frappe its earthy and sweet.
