The set up of this establishment is very nice. It is clean, spacious, inviting and the employees are pleasant and professional. It's definitely a comfy coffee hangout place. The drink menu and options are awesome and honestly are the only reason to come here. My problem with this locale is the food menu. It is overvalued, insipid, boring and grotesquely lacking in substance and taste, baked goods included. What you get for what you pay is enough to make you never return to this buisness. It's an insult to pay $10 for a roast beef sandwich with literally 2 slices of roast beef and one slice of cheese on cheap basic bread, saturated in spicy mustard. The second sandwich was the same; $10.00 for one slice of turkey/one slice of ham and a 1oz bag of Lays. If you're going to make sandwiches equal to a 2nd graders school lunch, then change the prices to match the quality and portion size of what you're serving. read more

Unfortunately every time my husband drives through this place they get his order wrong. We went again today courtesy of a gift card he was given because of previous errors. Again this morning his order was not complete. He called and spoken with an employee who had the owner Scott contact him. Apparently the excuse is that the speaker system is the problem. Unfortunately that excuse is tough to buy when the person taking the order reads it back as ordered. Truly not sure what the problem is but our answer is going to be to not go there any longer. The service is prompt with a smile and good attitude. Muffins are delicious! Coffee and expresso are the best around! You can't go wrong with this coffee shop. My one criticism, the speciality drinks address a bit too sweet for my taste. Even when I ssked for the syrup and topping to be decreased there was still way to much sweetness. Not many coffee shops out here in the sticks and this place does a good job of meeting the need. It's not Starbucks pricey but still not cheap. The staff is young a and quick with the orders. I reviewed this place after my very first visit, after being here for almost a year this is my must have almost every morning. The staff is awesome and I like supporting small Christian based chains. I miss them on Sundays though. The only place locally that makes my drink and has it down to a science how I like it. (I don't usually do a menu drink but those are good too especially the white chocolate mocha poeticino with an extra shot of espresso) Try them out they might become your go to in the morning as well. read more

I still absolutely love this place. I am really glad this place has been doing well, they have actually just expanded their woodbine section by buying the next plot in the strip mall and cutting a hole in it for additional seating space, which is awesome. I really do make sure to bring visitors here, because the coffee is really great, and service is great as well. I brought my girlfriend and a mutual friend as well, and both enjoyed it, and liked their bake goods they have too. I could only drool on the display case, however. That is the only thing I would wish would change, and that is to offer some sort of food item that is gluten free. They offer parfaits, but those generally have some sort of granola on them, which, sadly, is more often than not, wheat. That said, the Coffee Break does offer a punch card system that works in two tiers. If you're a $2 coffee person, you get $2 coffee punches, if you're like me, and like the foofoo drinks that cost $4, you get a punch for those. Get 10 punches and you get a free drink of that sort. So, 10 $2 punches = free $2 coffee. Which is really nice, and there's no hassle like any sort of Starbucks rewards card. This is just an old fashion paper punch card. Just don't be an airhead like me and lose yours after 6 punches! Drats! One of these days I'll find it! read more

I have been going to this coffee shop for years. Prices are reasonable, service has been consistently good, and the sandwiches are great. The King Lear sandwich, in my opinion, is very good, and has influenced my own recipe for chicken salad that I prepare for myself when I pack a lunch for work. read more
