It was such a cute place! I was so bummed. The guys behind the counter were nice, but the man with the darker complexion was an absolute sweetheart. Hopefully they have some locals who like their coffee, or maybe they should try a different bean for the cold brew? Either way, ended up at Dunkin next door, which made me sad, as I've made it a point to stop buying their coffee. C'est la vie

I didn't get to try any of their drinks but judging from what I saw at the other tables, I really need to try it next time. There is a self area on the left side of the store where there are utensils and the handles of the knives were HOT when I went to get one so you can definitely rest assured that these are cleaned frequently (but do be careful). There is complementary lemon infused water and the disposal area near the restrooms. Noise level wise-- it is not a super big cafe and tables are seated close to each other and it can get loud when the coffee machine does its thing but overall I would say it's a pretty good location to have a little with a friend.

He then packaged the cake very haphazardly and didn't make eye contact or speak to us beyond the prior "WHAT." The cakes here are good but not good enough for me to feel disrespected and dismissed. Especially when they're pretty expensive. Come if you don't care about getting yelled at by some high schoolers.

i come here at lease twice a week for frozen cocoa. the service is great and the girls that work there are nice, but since i am paying 5 bucks for a drink do you think you can make it where i feel like i'm getting my bucks worth. i understand that coffee drinks are only like 2-3 dollars at most. but i have to shell out 5 bucks for this drink that i really like so i feel like its worth it, but too have you guys just fill it up to 2/3 it upsets me too the point where i don't feel like want my money to go to waste. !@! and honestly im not gonna have you guys remaking me a whole one.... this happens occasionally i understand cause you guys didn't add enough milk or ice, but this time its ridiculous. sooo saddddd!!!!!! read more

I simply love the atmosphere, the coffee, the homemade cream cheese varieties, the service and pretty much everything about this place. I don't get these negative reviews. I like good quality coffee. Not flavored. They've passed my own personal taste test (for whatever that's worth). Whenever I find a unique, independently owned coffee shop or business for that matter, I always give it a shot. I am addicted to the Rainforest Crunch. I also love that they seriously mix your iced coffee for you so you don't end up with all the sugar caked on the bottom of your cup. Lines can be a tad long but the staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is great. read more

The double cheese bacon sandwich is a must try, and all of the Croffles (croissant waffles) they serve on the weekend are soooo decadent and soooo tasty. Really happy to have this place right in my own neighborhood. I hear they're adding a larger Hingham location soon too; their success is so well deserved. What I got was a sad excuse for a cappuccino -- not even hot, not even filled to the top, and somehow it still cost $5. How can you call yourself a coffee shop when you don't have a coffee machine, no espresso machine, and no way to properly froth milk? It feels dishonest and careless to serve something like this and charge that much for it. Coffee is supposed to be enjoyable, not a disappointment. If you care about quality or authenticity, this is definitely not the place to go.

You'll get more flavoring than any bitterness from the coffee. The large size is huge. No espresso drinks though. Food offerings are pretty standard. Several varieties of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and a handful of pastry options. Wouldn't get the bagel plain - not much taste and texture without it being toasted and spread added. I did like the soft Portuguese roll with the egg and cheese. Seating is a bit tight with only a few tables and counter spots. It has a laid back vibe and you can tell it's where locals like to hang out. $15 for a large coffee, muffin, and two breakfast sandwiches. Pretty good deal. Cash only but they have an ATM on site. If you want an affordable breakfast stop that's a step up from Dunks, Mud House is a decent option.
