Excellent lavender haze latte and mud slide tasted like real booze in it! Great little shop with odds and ends to buy! Great coffee!

Conveniently located in a plaza with a gas station and grocery store. Popped in here for a quick iced oat milk latte, and it was delicious. Also, I grabbed a little handmade 'krabby patty'. Cute and tasty.

Wonderful and cute coffee shop up in welches! There are a few tables where you can sit enjoy your coffee or pastry, as well as two couches! The service is amazing and you can't go wrong with an oat milk latte! its been a few months since i have been here but the coffee is still just as good if not better! keep it up.

There weren't a ton of places open at 9am in Mount Hood, so we were glad to find this place! It's located in a little shopping area and has a gift shop inside. The service was quick and the drinks were super hot. I had to let mine cool for 20mins, but the Oregon chai was good!

We were in town for the holiday and decided to try this place for breakfast on small business Saturday. The food was delicious and the coffee drink was good too. Both my wife and I ordered the Sasquatch breakfast sandwich and one of their seasonal coffee drinks. My wife was a fan of the many sugar free options they had as well. I recommend trying this shop if you're in the area!

This place was super dirty, the girls working the counter were rude and the deli sandwich was alright.

Nothing special, just our average coffee. And you must walk by all the smokers standing just outside the door.

I agreed with the staff that the triple berry was the best but they were all fantastic.

My fiance planned a wonderful mountain getaway for us, and lucky for me- we had dinner reservations here. It was so chilly in December, We had a cold mountain day, and we bundled up to go to our dinner reservations and I have to say- I wasn't expecting much when I heard the name "Grill". I was thinking- burgers, fries, your typical post-ski grub. I was wrooong! We strolled into the coziest little restaurant and were greeted by the two lovely people working there. Felt like I very sweet family vibe. They steered us in the directions of the pasta dishes we ordered, and we had the Soup of the Day to start- I believe it was some kind of Tomato bisque and that hit the spot. The Hazelnut pasta was a hit for my fiance, and I loved that he got to try such a classic Oregon flavor in a pasta- how fun. My chanterelle ravioli filled me up so fast, I also loved being able to try chanterelles in this format. Both dishes felt very creative and full of so much Oregon pride! Delicious!

Fernie's Coffee & ZigZag 4 Stars…read more Headed up toward Mt. Hood, I swung into Fernie's Coffee & ZigZag on a cold mountain morning, chasing a memory more than a meal. Back in the day when this place went by a different name and the vibe was more Hoppin' they made some of the greatest biscuits and gravy around. Legendary stuff. So naturally, I had to try it again. Good news: it didn't disappoint. I won't swear it's as good as the original incarnation (time has a way of polishing memories), but it's a solid second-best, and that's saying something. The biscuits were hearty, the gravy did its job, and I left full and ready for the road. The coffee? Decent. It'll wake you up, won't change your life, but it'll get you to Timberline without falling asleep at the wheel. That said, the place feels like a ghost of its former self. Sad to see the market closed that part stings a little. The building still holds the echoes of what it used to be, and you can almost feel the history lingering in the corners. Service-wise, there was a moment. The lady at the counter was BS-ing with some guy at the window for a solid five minutes or maybe he was just standing there, staring into the void but either way, I was ready to order. That little pause cost them a star. Still, for the price, the convenience, and the fact that I was in and out with no line while heading up the mountain, it earns four stars. It's good, it's familiar, it's just missing something. If they ever find it again, this place could really shine.

Baseline Biscuits is a no-frills eatery In Parkdale, which is on the doorstep of Mount Hood,…read moreOregons tallest mountain. I say no frills because it doesn't waste resources being showy, rather it lets the food do the talking. The food has always been decent, and just adventurous enough to not be ho hum while still appealing to a wider audience. That appeal is necessary due to Parkdale being tiny, and a little off the beaten path. The food: I'm going to admit right away that I have not tried the biscuits. I will have to remedy that someday. I had the shrimp and grits on one occasion, and found them to be excellent. I highly recommend them. I've also had the Baseline Burger on two occasions. The first time, they had no mustard, and I had to take matters into my own hands by running up to a grocery store a few doors away. My burgers will have mustard on them. Today, they had some of their own. The burger was 1/2 pound. It came with bacon, pickle, lettuce, and an onion ring, plus their house made sauce. It's a decent burger. Again, just adventurous enough, but not top tier. What floored me was the Mary Mix. I often order a Virgin Mary (a Bloody Mary without the alcohol, or as some call it, a "Why Bother") because I like spiced up tomato juice. This one comes with a little horseradish in it, and it was sublime. It comes in a glass with a salted rim. They mix it up themselves, and I imagine that the full alcohol version is amazing too.
