This is a nice little place and the owner is very nice and staff is pleasant. The problem is...one "local" comes in every day....is very loud....and seems to think everyone....customers amd workers....wants to have a conversation with this guy. Several people today are working on laptops. Others are reading. Still others are having private conversations. And yet, this guy doesn't have the courtesy to be quiet and leave people alone. This happened before. I wanted to give this place another chance but it is the same annoying guy ruining the morning of several customers. This place is making me reconsider what my favorite coffee shop is in the south hills! Felt adventurous this morning and tried a new spot and this did not disappoint. We got their house coffee beans, SF vanilla latte, house coffee, and sausage/egg/cheddar on ciabatta. Hot sauce and spicy aioli on the side. Delicious. Staff is very friendly, too! I think I bought the best avocado turkey melt sandwich I've ever eaten in my life here! I don't know why it was so special, maybe it was the toasted onion bread or the fresh avocado and sprouts, or maybe I was just hungry, but I will definitely be back to buy it again! The coffee was also delicious. I was really impressed with their extensive list of syrup flavors. My kid said her blended frozen coffee drink was also the best she's ever had. We took our food to go but the inside seemed nice and inviting but full. Parking wasn't great. It's obviously a popular place on the weekend. read more

Such a cute cafe! Everyone was friendly and the breakfast sandwiches were so good! Also had a iced vanilla latte which was great as well. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. It came out piping hot and the croissant was flakey and buttery. The only thing I disliked was the bacon, it was not cooked all the way so I did take it off the sandwich. The other sandwich my fiancé had was a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. He loved it! I did try it and it was awesome! Would go back and try some other breakfast items and coffees. read more

My favorite coffee shop. First went there after winning a gift card from the local library. Have gone back many time since. The owners and baristas are so kind and friendly. Loved our visit today to Coffee Etc.! Polite and friendly staff, quick service and delicious breakfast food and drinks! The space is cozy with plenty of seating at either tables or comfy chair seats by the windows. My husband and I ordered drinks and breakfast. The blueberry scone was fresh and our breakfast sandwiches were made to order and served hot. I usually go for egg and cheese on a croissant and I was not disappointed! The croissant was buttery and delicious, like it should be! My husband enjoyed his Americano and my chai tea latte was light and flavorful. We both had breakfast sandwiches , drinks and shared a blueberry scone for about $22. They also have loyalty cards, this was a first visit but we already have 5 punches on the loyalty card. Three more and we get a free item! Glad to find such a nice small business establishment with fine quality in Castle Shannon. Looking forward to coming back for lunch! read more

A combo of london broil, high-end veggies, and a delightful sauce and melted cheese on perfectly toasted farmhouse bread. What a treat! Great little coffee store in Castle Shannon. I don't give a lot of five star reviews, but think this place deserves it because of the quality of the service and the excellent coffee they serve. I've been here twice, and have had a latte and a regular coffee. The latte was excellent, with very strong, rich tasting coffee, and the regular coffee was almost just as good. The two gentlemen serving customers are real friendly and made a point to thank me for coming back for a second visit. The interior is nice, with several tables and excellent free WiFi. Prices are good, with the coffee $2 and the latte $3. They have a stamp card that you can get and will get a free drink after the card has eight stamps. I'm looking forward to trying some of their pastries and sandwiches. This is a real comfortable and friendly place and I'm looking forward to coming back. read more

A lovely little gem in Castle Shannon! The setting is nice with the small side street and the T running right outside the front window. The staff are incredibly friendly and wonderful with suggestions. They also offer nondairy options which was a bonus for me. Nondairy options include soy, almond, and coconut milk. My wife and I tried this place for the first time this morning for breakfast and coffee. What a great find for us!!! Especially since it is very close to our neighborhood. We each had a custom breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Mine was made with egg, bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato and spicy chipotle mayo..... delicious!!!! I also had a mocha latte that compares very closely with that served at my favorite coffee place. My wife was also very pleased with her breakfast sandwich and coffee. Although we didn't try any of the pastries, they looked delicious and the reviews by others are very good. We will definitely try some during our next visit. I also want to compliment the owners for the good service, their pleasant personalities and a clean, very attractive establishment. Came back a second time and I was just as impressed as I was the first time! This time around we also ordered breakfast/lunch. For drinks, we both went with their blonde roast, which was delicious. For food, Brendan went with a ham & cheese croissant. I went with a lunch special- a turkey sandwich on a croissant with pepper jack, all of the veggies, and a chipotle aioli. My meal also came with a bag of chips and a pickle. It was really fresh and hit the spot! I love that this is a family owned and operated business. Such a cute store! Everyone inside is so nice. The shop is always decorated for the seasons! It is a little expensive and the food does take a little bit of time and there usually is a line, but it is absolute worth it! The food was so delicious and I could tell it was made well. the same goes for the drink. The line is absolutely not the shops fault and there's only a line because it's so good! I recommend this place for a nice morning get away as it's only open in the morning. read more
