The name fits the place. You walk in and the music and the smells and the feeling of Colombia brings out all the feels. The drink menu is pretty average minus the four or five specialty drinks they have which sounded delightful. I went with the farmers drink which was sweet but not too overbearing. It is drip coffee with brown cane sugar, cinnamon and cloves. I had it with oat milk to make it creamier and it was iced. It was a 7.5 out of 10 for me. There weren't a ton of people here and so service was quick and simple. The barista was all smiles. Soft spoken and sweet. Parking is all paid and on the street. read more

Came in for post-workout fuel and it was really cute inside! Im laughing because another review also commented on the weird smell inside it smelt like ham and cleaner, so we sat outside. We ordered a smoothie and the farmer's latte iced. The latte has a special sweet syrup with some spices that i really enjoyed. I also got their three egg veggie omelette. the zucchini added kind of a weird texture so i would recommend maybe trying spinach instead with the mushroom? other than that it was really good and i appreciated the various CLEAN INGREDIENT array of hot sauces near the register! good job! I'm a coffee and breakfast lover and this place is just it. The food really good, we had a croissant breakfast sandwich which as some places is a hit or miss this is was a hit. Also had the waffle breakfast sandwich super hit. The coffee was also good the protein coffee was my favorite, they have a specialty syrup that was ok I liked it but prefer the protein hot coffee. The açaí bowl was so yummy! We got the açaí bowl with almond butter and the açaí was smooth. The flavors of the bowl blended well together. The servers and cashiers were really nice and we received our food quickly. My friends ordered coffee as well, and the coffees all tasted strong and had a good flavor. Stumbled upon Coffee for the Soul on a walk and was shocked I hadn't heard about its opening! When I peeked at their Instagram, I was so excited to give them a try since their lattes looked beautiful. We've already visited twice! On our first visit, I had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a large hot latte with pound cake syrup. It was beautiful with latte art of a kitty cat and came in a beautiful pottery cup. The croissant sandwich was very yummy as was the latte. On our second visit, we tasted the Farmer's Coffee which was delicious and had an omelette with a side of potatoes. Everything was so so good. Adorable place. Great concept. Prices were reasonable. The problem: staffing. Went on Sunday 2/16 and it was about 9:45. There were about 8 patrons eating and the place can seat about 25. Our breakfast order took over 20 minutes to get to the table. The food was less than pictured and served by a young man who seemed stressed and stretched. He never spoke to us; not when we ordered (same guy) or when he served us. We said please and thank you plenty and smiled. He just couldn't make eye contact or speak. Clearly in survival mode. The kitchen was staffed by 1 person. He had to come out and serve at times because the other employee was making the coffees. Won't go back. Another couple who ordered their breakfast left before us after having their coffee served. They seemed frustrated and gave up. The gables has about 20 breakfast spots and this one has a chance if they add staff and re-think the customer service experience. We left after waiting forever for a box to take home 1/2 my breakfast sandwich. Hopefully, they read the reviews and make the necessary changes. read more

The food items were also quite ordinary. There was nothing particularly special about the decor or the on-site offerings.
