My husband ordered the Basic Omelette with ham, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms, and they absolutely loaded it with veggies. It was packed with flavor and very satisfying! I ordered the churrasco gyro and it was delicious! Generous portions of meat, fresh veggies, and plenty of tzatziki. The salads were also surprisingly good with just the right amount of dressing. A few disappointments: the potatoes are fried rather than roasted, there's no gluten-free bread option, and they don't offer decaf coffee. My birthday behavior this month continued with another brunch here with a couple of friends from high school ie fellow 50 year olds. Located in the heart of the Merrick Plaza mall, this is a cutesy place to enjoy a celebratory brunch. Logistically, it is close to one of the self parking garages as well as a Valet station (though I don't like letting anyone drive "Tiffany" #iykyk. I don't believe the restaurant takes reservations; our group of 3 signed up at the hostess stand and waited around 30 minutes for an outside table facing the street and great for people watching (as well as inspiration from their plates). The inside space looked cozy but the AC was a little cold for our preference. Their social media famous pancakes are worth the hype. One of my friends ordered the savory "Los Nobles" - a 5-stack of fluffiness with ham, eggs, cheese and a hint of sweetness. We also tried the chicken tostones (basically a sandwich of green plantains, eggs and chicken) as well as the cordon blue waffle sandwich (chicken, ham and rich melted cheese). Let's just say the portions were generous enough to share the plates between our group and still have to take home. Their colorful beverages notwithstanding, I stuck to a classic mojito. The win here is that they make their drinks with real ingredients (mint leaves, sugar rim, etc) instead of just a syrup. read more

This place hands down has a great menu. I love the avocado with skirt steak. The pancakes are great. They have a QRcode menu as well and an instagram page which illustrates the items on the menu. There is side parking and there is a garage close by that you can pay $4 an hour. Noelia was our server and she provided great customer service. I suggest to arrive early or visit during the week when is not that busy like the weekend. This restaurant does not allow you to make reservations online and is only in person. Plenty of paid parking around. This comment is for management/ownership. Food taste is good as before but portions have been drastically reduced by at least 50% on the oatmeal with fruits it is now about the size of childrens portion for the same price very disappointing when our main reason for coming here was the abundant, generous portion of oatmeal they served before. When asking we got some lie about the previous bowls breaking really? I said you mean bowls were changed to give your long time customers less? unfortunately many restaurants that start doing this dont end well so good luck on that one. Not sure i will return here. I like this place as the quality is good and it is across the street from where I live but it is very pricey. For example, I just ordered egg whites (probably 3 eggs), toast and coffee and the bill--with tip--came to $29. Ridiculous....I don't care if there's bird flu, Kung fu or whatever. Too much, which is why I can only give 3.5 stars. For perspective, I get 2 egg whites, a bagel with cream cheese, oatmeal and coffee (with free refills, unlike here) for $15 with tip at Bagel Emporium (which will be relocating 2 blocks up the street in a few months). The best bet here is the combination breakfast in which you get 2 eggs, pancakes, and bacon for $14 (not including coffee and tip); except not every day do I want all that food and no way should what I ordered above (eggs only) cost twice as much for less food. Another time I ordered just a croissant (very good and large) with coffee and the bill came to $12-14 with tip. I can get a croissant with coffee and tip for $8 at nearby Nordstrom Ebar. Not questioning the quality of the food here, just the prices/value relationship on a number of items. The prices prevent me from becoming a regular customer; wish they would offer more reasonable options on "smaller portions" for those who do not stuff themselves at breakfast every day. read more
