Wow, really not even close to the 4 star rating they have on yelp. It's a meek attempt at an Asian tea house. Tried the milk tea because that's my go-to drink and pretty simple to make, so a good way to judge a "tea house". It was made from powder! And the level of sweetness was too much, even though I asked for half-sweet. They either forgot (bad service) or it's just really that sweet. Tried the bingsoo and that was a bust. The shaved ice was not thinly crushed at all, a bit chunky. The flavor of the whole thing wasn't great, too many random moving parts, again too sweet. Not sure what this place is supposed to be good at the the two things I tried have me never returning. Just because is one of the few bubble tea places that exist in the area doesn't mean it should get a high rating. read more

I was in the area and wanted a boba drink and found this. I was glad to stop by at this place. They have a variety of different flavors of drinks and a lot more. I ended up trying for the first time mango and pineapple smoothie with boba. I have always got a drink with boba not a smoothie though. I was really surprised I good boba tasted with the smoothie. The fruit was fresh and sweet and the drink had right amount of boba in it. I would recommend this place anyone who enjoys boba and fresh fruit drinks. I am a huge sucker for bing soo - I love sweet red bean, and I can eat that all day. Coffee Haus's bing soos are huge, and don't forget to ask for extra mini mochis. You can technically make bing soo at home, just as long as you have an ice shaver, but if you're lazy like me, this place is a good substitute. I like the toppings, such as the Fruity Pebbles, different fruits, fruit cocktail, syrup, condensed milk, shaved ice, and the pot (red bean). So this place is very cute and chill but also very loud and busy on the weekends so I do not recommend u go there to study unless u have a pair of good headphones with u! Pretty good boba! I ordered the milk tea which had a good amount of sweetness. It tasted slightly like coffee but I enjoyed the flavor. The tapioca was the perfect texture. Seating indoors is not allowed because of COVID. They have two benches outside which you can sit on but they fill up quickly during busy times. This tiny place is always crowded by minorities who sits with a group of friends and stays for a long time, taking all the space. Delicious drinks, outstanding service, and cautious handling of Covid. The chai tea is a must during the winter while the mango or lychee bubble tea is delicious. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of tapioca drinks, however, the way this place prepares it makes me want to ask for extra during my visits. Expect lines coming out of the store during busy hours, and an occasional and disappointing sign on the door saying "Sorry, we're currently out of tapioca!" As disappointing as that may be to drive out and see that, the drinks are still completely worth it. Although I have not eaten the food here, I have heard that the waffles are a miracle and I'm looking forward to trying them soon. read more

Yum!!! This place was recommended to me from a friend, and it did not disappoint. I only got an iced taro bubble tea with boba, so I can't talk about anything else on the menu. The drinks are around 4.50ish depending on what you get. The boba is nice and soft and they give you plenty. The drink was delicious and I'm going to be back sometime soon to try something else. I really wanted to love Coffee Haus... I went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and it was super packed. I got a large iced Americano and it was incredibly strong and overpowering. Went here awhile back with the girlfriend because she wanted to give it a try, in hopes of finding a nice bingsoo fix. I don't mind crowded and loud--I'm usually excited if a place is lively, honestly! Service was decent, and the place itself is cozy. But I was wildly unimpressed with our order. That bingsoo was WAY too sweet. The fruit in the bingsoo never gets a chance to shine with all the added sugary bells and whistles--and that is coming from someone who usually loves the sugary extras! I don't know what happened here? And if I wanted to chew on ice, I would do that at home for free, because the bingsoo here is basically that experience. That ice is way too chunky. I had the Choco Mint frappe as well, which was alright, moreso than the bingsoo was. But it's only okay at best. Never bothered to finish our cups full of sugary depression. Overhyped. Popular spot for late night hangouts and studying, kind of small gets extremely packed and crowded but the beverages and food is worth the wait. The staff is incredibly hard working and kind with constant orders to be made and lines out the door. All flavors of the bubble teas are amazing my favorite is taro coconut. The plum tea iced is also very tasty as well as the vanilla and hazelnut iced coffee. Tried the fruit bing soo for the first time but didn't like it very much, way too sweet. I'm not typically a complainer, but boy do I have a story to tell. I walked in here at about 4:30 on a Monday evening. From the looks of the outside I didn't expect it to be too busy considering the random time of day I chose to go, but who would've guessed Monday is the most popular day of the week for bubble tea fanatics. This being my first time here, I found this as an opportunity to browse through my options and take my time deciding what I wanted to get. Twenty five minutes go by and I'm finally about to place my order (found that a bit ridiculous, but the place was small and they only had three people working behind the counter). Another fifteen minutes go by after placing my order and I finally receive my bubble smoothie. I ordered a pineapple/mango smoothie with lychee popping boba. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect. Instead of popping boba, they gave me lychee jellies (I had no idea what jellies were prior to placing my order, so I know I didn't misspeak). I have never been the person to cause a scene when there is a minor error, but I just waited over half an hour for this smoothie and I was not trying to leave dissatisfied. I patiently waited at the pick up counter for an employee to assist me considering the rush at this point had died down. It took me two minutes to grasp the attention of one of them. I explained what my issue was and she seemed very uninterested in helping me. She actually offered to put boba on top of my smoothie rather than just making me a new one. A second associate (the one that took my order) comes up. He then suggests "straining" my beverage to get the jellies out rather than remaking it. Interesting...but no thank you. At this point I lost my patience. I spent almost an hour waiting on one beverage but then it was too much of an inconvenience for them to make me a new one. Once I left this dungeon of an establishment, I took a sip of my sloppily presented smoothie and I found pieces of plastic from whatever strainer they used to remove the jellies I never asked for. I definitely will not be returning here until they either expand their property or it's ten minutes to close to assure I'm not going to be leaving with plastic as a replacement for my boba. read more

It's delicious every time, they also have a variety of other delicious treats. The staff is super friendly and quick. Family and I decided to fulfill our sweet cravings! We got the binsoo, belgin waffle w/Oreo, Belgium waffle with mango and mango(fresh fruits mango and mango ice cream). The fruit binsoo was really good. It was bottomed with shave ice with milk, red bean paste, kiwi, banana, strawberries, fruity pebbles, corn flakes cereal and this white candy (not sure what it was but really good not too sweet). It cost about 7.50ish. The Belgium waffle was just ehhh! It was around $3.50ish. It was small and it wasn't all that. When you order it, keep in mind it takes 10mins to prep them so we had our binsoo first and after 10mins I was done and my family just got there waffles. Better off to tell them to have both come out the same time.. The waffles is something I can do at home. Not a big of a deal to go crazy for. Save ur money. Went here with my family. As we waited in line, my toddler son can run back and forth in the restaurant from one side to the other within seconds. So it is pretty small inside. There were a few tables, some seats and a small nook. (Reminds me of a small cafe or ice cream parlor, where younger kids appeared to be hanging out.) We ordered the Bing Soo. It was our first time having this dessert. It appeared to have some shaved ice, ice cream, fresh fruits, maybe some syrup, and crunchy cereal like topping. It came out in a small bowl, if you ate it inside. Or if you were taking it to go, it would be placed in a plastic cup. Taste is nice, definitely sweet, cold and refreshing. I believe we paid around $8-$10 bucks each. Portion wise, I thought it was a bit small for that price. However, I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else, so it was worth a try. We will probably go back for more and try more on the menu. If you are craving a different type of cold desserts, definitely give this place a try! read more

I came here two times. The first, I got a white mocha bubble tea and it was overly sweet- way too syrupy and I did not enjoy it. One star for that. One week later, I was in the area but tried the green tea bingso and mango ice cream waffle. I was suprised because it was delicious! The green tea ice cream tasted authentic and all the addings blended well together. The waffle itself was probably the most delicious- it had something thick in there but I can't tell what. Coffee Haus is a great place to both hang out and fulfill your sugary desires. Since they are open late, I often come here after having dinner in the area to end the day on a sweet note. Their ice cream + Belgian waffle desserts are delicious, although small enough that I'm sometimes tempted to order another (a plate of this includes one average-sized scoop with a quarter-wedge of the waffle). But for something refreshing, I recommend getting any of their blended bubble teas! These contain just the right amount of ice, sugar, and flavorings such that I wouldn't tweak the recipe in any way. The tables here easily fill up on Friday and Saturday nights. During these times it still doesn't usually take long to find an open table for or a party of four or less, but it can take a while for larger groups. I do see some people studying/doing homework, but wouldn't recommend doing that here because the place seems too loud and fun of an atmosphere compared to other coffee shops to be able to concentrate well. Speaking of "atmosphere", do be warned that the ventilation inside is weak, as evidenced by the oft fogged-up windows. Though the air can become stuffy, at least I don't recall any issues of unpleasant odors saturating it. read more

Bubble mania!!! I can't believe Coffee Haus is located in the shopping center of my favorite Korean restaurant! My husband and I went for their bubble drinks. I ordered a regular milk tea bubble drink with tapioca over ice, and my husband got a taro bubble drink blended. My milk tea bubble drink did not taste like the authentic Taiwanese kind, but it was still drinkable. The tapiocas were soft with a little bit of flavor. My husband liked his taro drink except his tapioca balls were getting hard because it was so cold (that came out wrong on so many levels). The taro had a strong aroma and the pretty shade of purple was a bonus for the pictures (always thinking of Yelp). Overall, the place isn't bad, but I'm not sure I will get the milk tea bubble drink again. I will try a different kind, but I am definitely ready to try their bingsoo!
