The crawfish tails were clearly microwaved and served on a bland bed of rice. The children's mac and cheese was especially bad--dry, unappetizing, and obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. My boyfriend had his dish to the side, untouched and was trying to get anyone's attention to come by. The server did not return for another 15 minutes to check on the food. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with a manager/owner, they refused to come to the table. Instead, we were told, "The manager said to just remove it from your bill." That level of disregard for customers is incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. I honestly don't understand how they expect to stay open. A service industry business that you refuse to treat seriously? Ridiculous. The service throughout the entire visit was just as poor. Our server was rude, inattentive, and spent most of the time avoiding tables, either hiding behind the kitchen door or standing at the server station.
