The experience is always great, but what is the "Convenience Charge" of .50 for? I was at the location near the lake. Is it for credit card usage? If so, I know that it's legal, but I think you should call it exactly what it is for transparency reasons. Additionally, you can only pass on up to 4% of the total amount (federal law). My total smoothie amount was $8, which means .50 is 6.25% of that amount. That's patently illegal. Just letting you know. Here's the law: "Businesses in Wisconsin can apply surcharges as long as they comply with disclosure requirements and any applicable rules from credit card companies. " Also: "While federal law permits surcharges up to 4%, MSPs cannot automatically pass the full processing fee to clients. " Lastly: "Surcharge fees are strictly limited to credit card transactions only. Even if a client wishes to run a signature debit transaction, where a debit card is processed as a credit transaction, you are still not allowed to implement a surcharge. Surcharges are also not applicable to prepaid cards." Thank you. read more

Standard coffee place within walking distance of several hotels in the area. The space inside is quite spacious and also has a really nice second floor seating area. It was a great day so quite a few people were also sitting outside. I ordered a medium matcha latte and a blueberry muffin, which came out to around $8. The matcha was quite creamy and heavy on the milk, not too sweet. The blueberry muffin was quite solid and filling. If you need a drink this place is solid! read more

This shop has excellent coffee. The line is long but the service is fast, friendly and accurate. They have modest amount of seats inside and outside. I do recommend grab and go. If you purchase one of their reusable cups they offer a 15% discount for future drink purchases. read more

Stopped in here for a flat white and was pleasantly surprised to find they had a couple gluten free muffin options. Never heard of butterscotch banana it maybe it was banana butterscotch, but either way it was fresh and tasty- and not just "good- for gluten free" it was just plain good. The flat white was perfect and the baristas were very hospitable. Definitely recommend. read more

Phenomenal experience. I stumbled into this coffee shop while visiting 4th of July weekend expecting a decent cup of caffeine and left feeling like I had just made a new friend and discovered my new favorite spot. First of all, the coffee? Excellent. Full-bodied, smooth & inexpensive! Five bucks for a large iced americano. Plus, the selection is insane - they have a whole wall of coffee beans. But the real standout here is Bob, the owner. We ended up chatting for a bit, and let me just say - the guy is amazing. You can tell he pours his heart into this place. He knew regulars by name, gave honest recommendations, doesn't upsell/overcharge, & you could tell he is genuinely passionate - you don't get that kind of warmth in most places anymore. Between the killer coffee, ambiance and vibes, the extensive selection, and Bob's energy, this place is a gem. Seriously - I wish I lived closer. Go for the coffee, stay for the conversation. Stopped in for the donuts only, they were great. They have 4 flavors available. I opted for the cinnamon sugar. They are freshly made, which takes about 2 minutes. By the way, this is at the location by the water. Had to pay a credit card convenience fee since they did not have change. Walking out with a bag of fresh, hot, baby donuts was the best. I say Baby, because they are small. Will definitely purchase again. Nice location by the lake, but definitely needs a refresh. read more

Friendly baristas, but the drinks themselves leave a lot wanting. My husband & I ordered the exact same drink (iced lavender latte), and they tasted completely different -- his tasted like a mediocre latte and mine tasted like syrup and milk. There was a super long line when we went, so maybe that caused the inconsistency in quality. The interior was also very cute though. read more

The energy scone was delicious as was the cold brew coffee. I wanted something for lunch after a hike but found this place. There did not seem too much for lunch but the scone worked as a good lunch substitute . They have off street parking and outdoor seating. Comfortable and relaxing. Coffee snob here. I really like Coffee Mill. Coffee is well-brewed (not overly brewed like you'd get at Starbucks) - rich flavor, good texture and body, great aroma. It's also great to see that all of their products are local (I think the furthest anything travels to get here is Milwaukee). It would be easy for a coffee shop to try too hard to impress the summer crowd, but the Mill is low-key and mellow. The staff are all well-informed and friendly, and it's a comfortable place to sit and actually enjoy a cup of coffee instead of rushing out the door. Highly recommended! read more

Y'all. I'm such a sucker for good coffee where I can taste flavors and not just burnt beans. This place was definitely the spot when we were visiting Lake Geneva. I want to start off by saying the staff was so incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful explaining everything on the menu. The atmosphere was great with different places to work that had different noise levels. I ordered a cappuccino and it was made so well. Prices were reasonable. They support other small businesses in their community *swoon*. I really could go back to Lake Geneva to sit here all day and enjoy the peace and good coffee. read more

Well... location is amazing (lucky them) and so is their oatmeal but the COFFEE IS HORRIBLE. IT IS HARD TO DRINK IT IS SO BAD! They pull "double shots" that are size of a single. But again I must reiterate it simply tastes terrible. If it weren't for the location definitely would be out of business. read more

My dad took me here while I was visiting, and we had such a wonderful experience! The staff was warm and welcoming, the environment was cute and cozy -- with tons of fun details added (like blankets for sitting outside in the winter!). I really appreciated that they had vegan baked goods available, and it was so cool to see their list of local vendors. We didn't have any food, but some other customers ordered soup & bread and it looked amazing. I'll definitely be stopping in next time I'm in town! read more

Very cozy local coffee shop. Loved their breve (latte made with half and half instead of 2% milk). Their 2nd floor is like a working space with many desks, chairs and AC outlets that can look over the entire store. Went here for coffee this morning . The staff has a very welcoming vibe and were talking to several customers addressing them by first name. The honey bee latte is awesome and they have some not-so-common flavors to put in your coffee like lavender. The inside has an upstairs I didn't notice the last few times I was there that would be nice if you're staying there for a bit. Super cute place- will be back next time I'm in LG ! read more

I stopped going here when the servers "ask" if you want to leave a tip. The owners should pay their employees more and stop the servers from embarrising themselves and putting the customers in an awkward position. The coffee is ok but they need to stop asking for tips! A tip jar will suffice. read more

Several tables and all seats at the bar were full but no bartender on a very warm day. It rained earlier in the day so many of the tables and chairs were wet. We were able to go behind the bar to grab paper towels to clean off the seats. Again had to bring up drinks from the lower bar. Lower bar tender moves like a snail. After about an hour, a bartender shows up to the roof top and says she was watching the weather and decided to come to work. The lower bar is nice but why offer a roof top bar if you cannot service it. There were many customers that left frustrated at the lack of service. Hopefully management will get it together. This could be a great asset to our small town.

This is good if you're looking for a traditional breakfast, but not a place where you'd have a memorable meal. Staff members were friendly.
