Chicago style cone!
John G.

I'm not sure about the statement 1/2 the fat of any other ice cream in the area! But man this stuff seemed really light and fluffy good! I got he Chicago style waffle cone! Man was it good! The place was pretty packed for a Tuesday night with a line out the door at 7:30. This is 10-15 min from the beach in Lake Geneva! Worth it! Enjoy!

This is the Pina Colada ice cream combo. It's made from both Blue Moon and Coconut ice cream. Not bad!

Good ice cream for a good price from a local establishment. Some interesting and unique flavors as well. And all for half the calories apparently! So it was good ice cream worth trying out on a hot day. But I can't say it's the best ice cream I've ever had. The staff were also very nice.

Great ice cream, interesting pictures of Lake Geneva long ago, and not overly expensive like many restaurants in the area.

The one thing I cannot say exactly was how much we paid for the room because out of the thousands…read moreof hotels that have stayed at and reviewed throughout my entire Yelp career, this room felt like a above average budget hotel. We enjoyed it there was a balcony outside but that balcony rail is absolutely loose it seems like a liability waiting to happen. There's plenty of tourists here and a lot of people will act like they forgot how to park or they expect top notch privilege which will make going up to the front desk a giant pain upon arrive . If you see a parking spot near the front just take it and walk in and check in . Some of the amenities are pretty cool but I do feel like this place was a bit overrated for the time being. This place felt very outdated as well but this place can be pretty much dead at certain times of the year. The breakfast here is solid but it is absolutely expensive if you go for the Continental package. They charged me $54 and it wasn't even all that good it's probably worth $30 at best. If I knew it was going to be that expensive and underwhelming I would have walked to the gas station and probably paid $10. I will say that there are Lobby shines bright and so does their bar. Whenever there's a party going on usually there's a lot of life going on over here. If you're going to go anywhere and not drive , I recommend taking an Uber and not a Lyft because the price difference is huge. For an expensive stay, I will lean that this place was a 2.75 star experience. So I will leave it at three stars.

I had an outstanding experience at The Abbey thanks to Illeyana--also known (and now forever…read moreremembered) as Ms. Goldfish. From the moment we walked in, her energy, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness set the tone for the entire visit. She was on top of everything--quick service, great recommendations, and always checking in without being overbearing. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel both taken care of and completely relaxed at the same time, but Illeyana nailed it. The nickname "Ms. Goldfish" fits perfectly--she kept things fun, memorable, and just a little bit legendary. If you're heading to The Abbey, do yourself a favor and ask for her. Customer service like that is hard to come by. We'll definitely be back!

The place is super nice family friendly and like I said it's right in front of the lake which is super nice . The food was actually really great. I'm not a ribs person but that's one of their specialty it's really tender and super tasty. They had like a charcoal chicken it was half the chicken this was super tender and it was cooked so well. I will definitely come back to this place when I'm in the area. Happy eating!

Outside a band was playing, people were enjoying cocktails or food, and kids were frolicking in the water or the sand. The ribs were very good and my friends raved about the fresh-caught walleye. Sadly we' had no room for desert. Very crowded on weekends and parking is a nightmare - we were near 1/2 mile down the road as there are No Mars Parking signs fronted on the lawns of residents. Can't blame them as this place is, as they say, an absolute gold mine. Located about 4 miles from Lake Geneva do include it in your plan; you'll be sorry if you don't!

This place is an hour away, but the scenic route to Lake Geneva makes it worth the drive. In contrast, city traffic can take an hour and a half, even longer during peak hours. We visited twice, and during our second reservation, we couldn't resist making a third reservation for next month! As you can see in the pictures on their website, the food is beautifully presented, and each dish is unique and incredibly delicious. The prices are also very reasonable, which is a huge plus for us. We're talking amazing food at a reasonable price! Highly recommended! 5 stars!!
