Pros: avocado was fresh, there was a lot of great options on the menu to choose from, place looked clean overall Cons: steak cooked so fast it turned out tough, food was good but not super warm, the blueberry Swedish pancakes were watery so I'm assuming the blueberries were frozen It's nice to have a breakfast spot in the area with a variety of options on the menu. This is good if you're looking for a traditional breakfast, but not a place where you'd have a memorable meal. Staff members were friendly. read more

Great classic diner vibes. Prices I think are very reasonable and plenty of people at tables which I think is a great sign of a great diner. I wanted to order the special of the day which was the fried chicken but my waitress made me feel she didnt want me to order them by saying "This would be an additional 20 minute wait. Are you sure that you want to make your table wait for your food?" So I decided on the sampler since I knew this would be my one time at the diner since we were visiting. BBQ sauce was a little too hot for my liking but loved their ranch and their cheese curds were very good! Thought the breading on my onion rings were good and complimented the onion well. The food here is delish! I've been here for breakfast and for dinner before. I loved that the menu is expansive but the food is really no frills. It's so good too. My fish was super yummy! I also had the clam chowder with it which was delicious. The restaurant is close to my grandparents home and it was nice that the staff knows them and treats them like royalty. Was in town for a baseball tournament and needed a place to go for lunch. Came across this cute diner and the food was delicious. Ordered the 2 eggs with meat and had the chicken sausage. By far the best chicken sausage I have ever eaten. Prices are reasonable. Good came out hot and fresh. Pancakes are well sized. Definitely worth the stop. Thank you for the excellent service. Was a cute place in a small town. We were greeted right away and sat at a table up top. Our server was fantastic she was attentive and easygoing. We have 5 people. We ordered country fried steak and omelets and sprinkle pancakes. The steak was fantastic gravy was just ok. So I was glad I did not get the biscuits and gravy. A small diner located in a small town. Predictably packed with locals. Seemed like a good place to grab a bite as we were passing through town. Ambience was nice and service attentive. But oh my, the quality of the food. I had a greek omlette, and it contained small waxy cubes of something masquerading as feta cheese. It tasted vaguely of feta cheese I suppose. My friend had soft scrambled eggs, which showed up as a rubbery omlette like material. Neither of us finished our plates. So if you are passing through, my advice is to keep passing through. read more

First off this place is near The Abbey Resort so common sense should tell you that you may have many out of towners come check you out. Anyway my sister and I wanted to order food and bring it back to our family at the resort. We were told that we couldn't order kids meals because we didn't have kids with us. I didn't know you had to have kids with you to order a to go kids meal. I'm wondering why McDonald's doesn't question people when you go to a drive thru and order kids meals. The waitress was downright rude and nasty ass attitude. Talking to people as if you hate your job means you need to do better. You work at a restaurant where you greet people and tone is important. I would hope that the restaurant learns how to teach their staff how to greet customers. I would never ever step foot in there again! And while you're at it take a look on google, they have so many nasty reviews. They're down right nasty people. read more

I've eaten here a number of times and the service and food is very good. I've only come here for breakfast or lunch - not dinner. Those folks looking for a more reasonably priced meal than Lake Geneva restaurants or the nearby Abbey Resort offer would be happy they made the short drive. We loved this place! Service was great and the menu options pleased everyone. We ended up getting two orders of the Denver omelette and two of the choc chip pancakes for the kids. The pancakes were huge and we easily could have gotten away with just one order. This is def a local place, not touristy and not overpriced. Only thing is the lady who sat us (not our waitress) wouldn't let us get away with just waters, and somehow we ended up with chocolate milks for the kids. Stopped in yesterday while in town for an event with my family. Large, spacious diner. Very friendly staff and servers. Basic coffee but it was good and generous with refills. Couple of family members had the egg options which looked awesome but wife and I had yogurt parfait and Swedish pancakes and quality was excellent. I was heading to IL and I looked to see what breakfast places were near my route and this place was so I stopped. The place is on the town square with easy parking. The place is nice enough with a look of country charm with two levels and mostly tables/chairs. I loved the sweet pancakes aroma in the air which made the whole breakfast experience for me, your in the right breakfast place. The menu has all the usual breakfast fare and I was pondering an omelette but omelettes are hit or miss and I could get the the crappy food service liquid eggs, I'm taking a chance because of the great breakfast smell. I ordered the meat lovers omelette with fruit and sourdough toast. Service was slow for having about 9 people working the floor and a good 10 minutes before my order was taken. My breakfast looked good when it finally hit the table and jack pot, the thick omelette looked like real eggs. The fruit was mostly all Mellon with one grape. The sourdough toast was the real deal, not the kind that blends in to white bread with that dense texture and that nice chew. The meat lovers omelette was moist/thick and fluffy with plenty of meat and cheese, nicely done with that real egg flavor. Overall the service was slow which could be a small town thing but they do a real good breakfast. read more

Downtown Walworth mainstay. Cheap, delicious food. They also have a bar in the back which is a bonus. Waitresses are nice and attentive, bringing more napkins and refills without asking. We stopped at this place for a Sunday breakfast around 9am. It was raining outside, the place was packed. We waited about 10-15 min before we were buzzed in. The places is bigger than we expected. Nice selection of food. We ordered two different meals and split them. One was corned beef hash eggs Benedict with the sauce on a side. The reason we asked on a side is because we have noticed how much sauce comes with it. For us - it is a little too much. Eggs were cooked perfectly, we like them runny inside and that's exactly what we got! We were a little bummed that corned beef was from a can, not made in house. Overall corned beef hash eggs Benedict were good. As a second meal we had lingonberry crape. It comes with a lingonberry jam and lingonberry butter.
