This is such a great local coffee spot attached to the cute little market, green grocer. I've come here quite a bit to get different coffee drinks and love the punch card system they have as well for regulars. The interior has some nice seating and games, and the outdoor porch seating is great as well. The breakfast sandwich with bacon on a biscuit is delicious. The everything bagel is also tasty. Great prices overall too. Sometimes they run out of items pretty quickly though and have quite the line. read more

Steamers is great! My friend and I stumbled upon it during a weekend in Lake Geneva, and stopped in for coffee and breakfast. The coffee shop has a choice of seating, including regular tables and a small lounge area, where there are couches and tables with a chess board and tic tac toe game. So cute! We enjoyed our lattes and I also had a delicious blueberry muffin. We noticed that the coffee shop is connected to a small grocery store from the inside, and walked through to check it out. The store carries a variety of items, including wines and containers of hummus made by another local restaurant owner. While browsing, we discovered there is also a sandwich counter, which features a menu board with wraps and sandwiches made from Boar's Head meats. Right away, we decided to return later for lunch. When we returned for lunch, the place was really busy. We waited in line to order sandwiches and had a choice of eating outside or back in the coffee shop. Normally we'd opt for outdoors, but we'd just spent a couple of hours walking around Kishwauketoe in the heat, so we decided to eat inside. Good choice! When we walked back to the coffee bar side of the building, we discovered a bar that I hadn't previously noticed and were invited to a free wine tasting. While we ate our sandwiches, a friendly bartender poured us samples of several wines, telling us about each one while also entertaining us with personal stories. It was so much fun. This place is full of character and local charm. The staff told us they're going to build a new location across the street next year. Sounds like a good opportunity for them, and I hope the new spot will keep the qualities that make the original place great. read more

My wife and i went to Green Bean Coffee at Green Grocers today and ordered two Latte's. They only had two employees working on a busy Saturday morning. The place was completely full with very few places to sit. We waited about 30 minutes before our Latte's were ready. I think management needs better planning to correct this problem. Needless to say, i won't be back again. read more

Out of town visiting for a wedding and found this coffee shop by driving by and seeing the open sign. My wife walked in to get rudely chastised that it was closed for a private event, we pointed to the illuminated open sign and retreated back out the door. 20 minutes later after getting coffee from Barrel and Burlap, the open sign was still on. I suppose they enjoy dressing down potential customers rather than assisting in avoiding it. read more

Nice chill cafe, comfortable with friendly service. You can have a healthy oatmeal (instant) breakfast, or a not-as-healthy but delicious pastry from Troubadour Bakery of Milwaukee. The breakfast sandwich was a very good value @ $6.50 Totally fills a niche here in Williams Bay. read more

Great deli, bakery and COFFEE that isn't like 99% of all the other lake's area's supposed "coffee houses" which rarely know how to brew a decent cup or press a perfect espresso. Bravo to the staff and baristas! Simple Bakery goods and Lake Geneva Coffee Roasters are locally sourced food and cafe itemas well. Friday summers there's hot/iced coffee or teas down at the Williams Bay lakefront park during the farmers market. read more

What a wonderful coffee shop. Its akin to having a coffee barista in your living room. The experience is relaxed and cozy. Not your typical coffee shop vibe. Ive come here while shopping at Green Grocer (next door). Please see my review of the Green Grocer. A wonderful place Green Grocer to eat and buy wine! The young lady or barista is a pleasant woman to chat with while there. I have been there on a few occassions but failed to ask her name? She makes a great pour over! The locally roasted coffee is also great (Lake Geneva Coffee Roasters). i have purchased their coffee beans for at home. It is a change of pace if you want to rest after hiking around town after shopping etc. If you are in Lake Geneva visiting.. it is worth the trip to the other side of the lake to visit Steamers! You wont be disappointed! I love this place! The staff is great!! Excellent customer service! Today customer service is very important to me as a customer. The food can be a 10 but if the service is terrible that cancels any good aspects. Just my $0.02 read more

Great coffee in a cozy nook downtown Williams Bay. I had an iced mocha on a really hot summer day. It was perfect! Some places make their mocha coffees really sweet. Their mocha was perfectly mixed so that the mocha does not over power the coffee itself. Staff all wore COVID masks and took other precautions to keep their customers safe. I felt very relaxed knowing the staff took my safety seriously. It's not easy, Thank you! I'd highly recommend grabbing a coffee and strolling along the lake. read more

Ok, there might be a small problem here. YELP info indicates that this place is open at 6am on Friday. I stopped for a coffee at 7:05am today. The door was locked and the lights were off. Disappointing! BTW, Daddy Maxwell's restaurant is about a 2 minute walk from Steamers. Daddy Maxwell opened at 6am...coffee was hot and the food was great! read more

Coffee tasted burnt and service was terrible. After ordering, waited 10 minutes while I watched others behind me get served first. When I got my drink, it looked incorrect, so I asked, and was at that point told they didn't have the milk I ordered (when they could have gone to the market connected and gotten the milk I ordered at Green Grocer).
