Their offerings include several IPAs, pilsners, and hard seltzers. I tried their Rustic, New England IPA, a lighter flavored and yet delicious IPA, followed by their Tangerine Speedo, a citrusy, California-type IPA. My husband flavored the Jet Lag, a German-styled Pilsner, heavier than the ones at the Hoffbrauhouse, but nonetheless a most superb tasting selection. The brewpub occupies the rear of the gargantuan footprint of the old Anchorage. The best part actually, as it has the outside boardwalks with tables and the beautiful scenic view of Lake Sunapee. It was well attended by the boat crowd and boats were tying up as close as they could. Superb ambiance although limited food offerings. Still, Hoptimystic is tops on the beer scene.

They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. Steve and I had the Triple Agent which is a Triple New England IPA. This beer was enjoyable. Flavor highlights in this one are juicy, citrus and tropical. The beer has a creamy body and gives a soft feel upon your mouth when taking a sip. While this IPA was good it didn't necessarily a beer that got etched into my mind as time passed I still had no complaints with it.

Some of the salient items we saw were Masa tortilla chips, seldom seen in grocery stores. As well, Specialty cheeses from small Vermont and New Hampshire creameries. A good selection of crackers, snacks, carne seca, and a huge collection of upscale wines such as Napa wineries. Great place to visit before a party, because their selections are way above grocery venues.
