Everyone in the area where I had my meal was friendly. Residents stopped by to inquire about us and to tell us about themselves, they were friendly but not intrusive. Felt fun, caring, and like the staff and people living there were invested. It's in a beautiful location that's easy to get to. They have geriatric specialists that come to their site. And the sales person I met with, I"m sorry I forget her name but I think it begins with L, was insightful and friendly. Affordable, independent living. In my opinion, the only drawback here is there aren't units with their own washer and dryers.

Watermark started that ball rolling, but St. Mary's actually made that happen by filing paperwork with the State. Watermark at Continental Ranch still isn't a place I would recommend for your loved one with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Especially if they've hit the stage where they are showing Aggressive/Aggravated behaviors! If they have not yet, they likely will. Look into the disease! Even people who have been good natured all their lives can suddenly turn aggressive! This place needs to train their care givers for that eventuality if they want to keep a "memory care" ward! The one thing I forgot to mention is the fact that the ward where they are housed is Co Ed. NOT a good thing when you have patients who have a tendency to wander around "in the all together", or wander into open rooms and disrobe. We constantly found clothing and other articles in my Mother's room that were Not Hers, and they Still can not find several things that Were Mom's. If I knew something wasn't Mom's, I gave it back! Do Your Research, about Dementia/Alzheimer's, And about the facility you wish to place your loved one!

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. It was a good service when I first started with them,…read morebut they have driven away all their good employees and are just hiring whoever they can off the street. I've had theft problems with a few of their "Care Pro's" (I used to keep a couple hundred dollars in cash on my desk for when I needed a store run done). Mistake, as it kept disappearing. I now give them my debit card for purchases. I've had hundreds of dollars spent at stores I don't send them to for groceries. I don't visit the Dollar Store, yet my debit card has been used there a few times. It happens to be near the grocery store that I send them to for errands. You don't have to be a detective to figure that one out, everything is time stamped into my bank account. I've had several other items magically disappear from my house. Computer monitor that I had stored in my home office that I no longer use vanished. If you like people who never shower and smell terrible (like make me leave the room kind of stink) when they kick off their shoes to go to sleep at noon on the couch. I've had days that I've had to open all my windows and air the house out when the "Care Pro" left for the day just to get rid of the lingering foot odor they left behind. If you want to pay to have someone stare at their phone and do nothing, enjoy having people steal from you, and have no expectations of quality care, this is the service for you.

Because one of their…read morecaregivers decided not to show up, my 92-year old father missed his very important visit to the MD, resulting in months of wait time to reschedule. VA called to let me know they would not be there to take him AFTER she was scheduled to pick him up. They did not offer to send someone else--I had to insist that they did and even still, his appointment was missed. They are disorgainzed. Unreliable. Terrible communicators and have faulty scheduling. As I can see from the (mostly) poor ratings from others, my experience was not singular. Debby met with my sister and I for a through explanation, question/answer meeting prior to my mom coming home. We found them to very responsive to our needs and requests. We were very pleased with the majority of care givers and when we had a concern, a phone call took care of things. We were fortunate to have many of the same caregivers provide care and my mom appreciated having repeat care givers. I would recommend them to someone needing assistance with an elderly family member. But, have a 1:1 meeting before hiring them and follow up once they are on board if you have questions or concerns.
