I have been working with Kim at Cohasset Travel since 2003 when I was referred by a co-worker at Berklee College of Music. What started as only business travel has turned into all our personal travel, especially international, using Kim's services. When I broke my ankle and had to have emergency surgery in Mexico, Kim was the first person we called and she got the ball rolling, contacted our travel insurance, and made sure we were well taken care of. Although I have never actually met Kim in person, we will continue using the services of Cohasset Travel and are always well taken care of whether it's train connections in Italy, airport pick-up, advance passes, amazing hotels within our budget, or rescheduling due to Covid-19. I recently planned a trip with Kim for myself and 3 others at the referral of my mother, who has worked with her frequently over the past few years. I am so glad I did! Everything was seamless! Things I had never bothered to think about when booking previous trips on my own (such as transfers from the airport to our cruise ship) Kim took care of and it made a big impact on our trip. Aside from the fact that she is clearly a pro who knows all the ins and outs, Kim is just a genuinely nice person, who takes the time to talk to you and make your trip what you want. In reference to the rebuttal from Cohasset Travel, I was never told about any packages, only treated poorly from the moment I stepped in the office. No one discussed 30 minutes of free consult, in fact, I could never get out of her if they even booked the kind of trip I was looking for! I was just provided with a quick reference to a phone call about booking a cruise as the reason for charging upfront before any discussion. I overheard then call where the travel agent was terrible to the caller as well. I did book a terrific 9 day trip with another agent (see Isle Inn Tours), 5 people, private driver and very nice hotels in Ireland. The other company was more than accommodating unlike my attempt to buy local. I repeat, do not waste your time here! You would think if they cared, they would contact me directly! read more

My friend and I decided to book a trip to the Southwest (Grand Canyon, Sedona, etc) and didn't know where to start. We decided we needed a travel agent and went to Kim at Cohasset Travel. Kim had been recommended to me by another friend. Kim was terrific! We told her what we wanted to see and do during our trip and she booked the entire trip within a few days. She also gave us great recommendations on hotels and provided us with different price ranges for us to choose. We felt we had a great trip planned for this May. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus, our plans had to change. Kim reached out to us in late March to let us know that the Grand Canyon would be closed until at least the end of May and that cancellation of our trip would be advised. We agreed and she took care of contacting all the hotels and airlines to cancel our reservations and begin the process of getting refunds on our various deposits. As she was with booking the trip, Kim was very helpful in helping us to cancel the trip. We fully plan to rebook the trip for next year and of course will use Kim at Cohasset Travel. read more
