    Turkey Bacon Sandwich
    Peter D.

When we walked into the strangely laid out space (large unused room with stacked chairs and tables, doors you're not supposed to use, etc.), the very nice young lady behind the counter informed us that they were out of all their bagels except the sweet ones. Unfortunately, cinnamon raisin (the only sweet bagel I'm really in the market for) was also out. So our family got a turkey bacon sandwich with avocado on sourdough (for me), a french toast bagel (one kid), a chocolate croissant (other kid), and some tuna salad (my mom). A pleasantly affordable lunch. It was all fine. Apologies to everyone outside the NYC/NJ/Long Island area, but your bagels are mostly just bagel shaped bread. When you slather it in too much cream cheese, it still tastes pretty good, even covered in sugar like the french toast one, but it's not really right. The sandwich was pretty basic but it hit the spot, and the same goes for the croissant and tuna salad. All in all, a decent place to grab a bite on a long drive, but I wouldn't go out of my way for anything. Really nice people and good service though.

Bagels are perfect! Love the spinach- artichoke spread! If you sign up for free loyalty acct you will get a birthday reward and you get credits for every purchase. Today I picked up a half dozen bagels and two full size spreads for basically free using both prior credits and my birthday rewards. Service is perfect as well!

    Undercooked Bagel

Sadly first bagel I tried here had just come out of the oven and was undercooked. The morning rush is a madhouse so perhaps with counter orders and deliveries they were scrambling. I think at slower times during the day all is good and quality of food and service is better. That was the case on my second visit. Not sure why (save on electric bill?), but the AC was not turned on in the seating area. They had the big fan blowing to cool off the kitchen. So, conversation in the sitting area is hard because of noise and it is just too hot to enjoy inside. All in all could be a great place but currently not the place to sit and have coffee and bagel. FIX the AC please!

A while ago, a friend recommended Cohen's for bagels and I tucked that away for when I visited the area during bagel time. Well last weekend, it was Bagel O'Clock when I visited the Clinton Outlets. Cohen's is nearby in Madison. It's got a nice corner spot in a small brick plaza on Boston Post. I ordered a Cheddar Everything with veggie cream cheese, and a bag of bagels with a large container of cream cheese for later. For me, there are three parts of the Bagel Game. Bagel. Cream Cheese and Bagel Sandwiches. I can't speak to Cohen's sandwiches, but their actual bagels are very good. My cheddar everything had good chewy texture and flavor. I froze some other bagels like Sesame and Cheddar. They thawed and reheated well. I have a high opinion of Cohen's bagels. The veggie cream cheese was at best average. Sometimes it seems like something was made by a person who doesn't know why people like that thing. That's how I felt about the Veggie cream cheese. There were a few small flecks of vegetables, but there was no significant vegetable flavor or texture. None of the other cream cheese options stood out to me either. 4.25 Stars for Cohen's. If you're a bagel fan and you're in the area, you should check out Cohen's.

Good bagels but this store has absolutely the WORST cream cheeses! The vegetable cream cheese only had a few flecks of grated carrot and no seasoning. Typically other bagel shops would have chunks of carrots, celery, onion and other flavorful additions. Same with the smoked salmon. A tiny bit of grated salmon and no other flavor. Totally white cream cheese not the pale orange a person would expect for this flavor. So disappointing. Two fails. I'll buy my bagels plain and make them up at home.

They are always out of the bagels I order. They should update their website to reflect availability. It happens way too often.

Bagels are amazingly fresh. Spreads are creative and very delicious. I might hope they see this and consider: OLIVE CREAM CHEESE.

Good bagels and generous sandwiches. But check your bag before you take away; they often leave off things you've ordered.

No matter, we were there before 11AM so we were served breakfast. The server we had was excellent she was a former employee of the Coffee Break which was the old restaurant in this location. The place is LOUD. The decor is new and refreshed. There is NO WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS (which surprised me as they just renovated the place. One would think the Town of Clinton would have required it.) I had the Breakfast Wrap with sausage and american cheese. It was good and filling. $7.00 (in May 2026) My companion had the Quinoa Omelette pictured 1/2 eaten ($14.75 in May 2026) which was good. The home fries had a little too much salt but were otherwise excellent. Personally when there is salt actually on the table, I always wonder why the cook just lightly dusts with salt as I can add more. We also ordered a fresh fruit cup which had grapes purple and green, strawberries, and a few hard pieces of honey dew melon. $6.50 (May 2026) In May 2026 the hours are 0700-1430 MON - SAT 0700-1200 SUN ****WARNING**** They stop servicing breakfast items at 11AM They do take credit cards BUT... They used to take it right at the table now, they don't which means you wait to pay. Bad move on the owner's part. There is plenty of free parking. I imagine there will be waits once the summer season gets going so plan to wait (maybe on the weekends)?

After being turned away from Aqua (one hour wait and no option for a reservation) and prepping ourselves for the usual hike to Shanks, we stumbled across this spot, and honestly, what a win. There was no line, no wait, and plenty of open tables right by the dock. Everyone was posted up with drinks in hand, and since it's BYOB, the vibe was relaxed and personal, like a backyard party with waterfront views. We grabbed a seat and were helped quickly by a super friendly staff. The energy was low key in the best way. The food surprised us in all the right ways. I started with the clam chowder, which was a little salty, but still really good: thick, creamy, and satisfying. My friend ordered the salmon sandwich, and we both agreed it was excellent. The fish was fresh, flaky, and seasoned well, served on a soft bun that held up perfectly. The chicken tenders, turned out to be real cuts of chicken, not the frozen kind, which made a big difference. The sweet potato fries were crisp, hot, and the perfect side. We had a great time without any of the stress that usually comes with trying to eat out on a summer Saturday night. Fast service, good food, friendly people, and no wait? That's rare on the shoreline. I'll absolutely be back, and next time I'm bringing my own bottle of rose too.

One thing to note is that the service level has varied. Sometimes it's been quite slow and we've also had a mix-up with the order. If they raised the service level, it'd feel even more upscale.

The food tasted fresh and made to order, which is always appreciated. Our server, Angelina, also made an excellent mimosa the orange juice to Prosecco ratio was just right (a small detail that makes a big difference!). Service was on the slower side, but from what we could tell, Angelina was the only server working, so it was understandable.
