We visited Coho Pizza with a group of three adults, one teenager, and one toddler. We had reservations for 1:30 p.m. and were seated promptly. There was confusion from other patrons on if they were open since the front door was still locked. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The dining room is inviting, and the deck provides a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel like you're on vacation. The pizza was excellent and definitely the highlight of our meal. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our server frequently disappeared, and it took more than 25 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. There also wasn't a drink menu available, which made ordering more difficult and took more time. One other thing to keep in mind is the parking. The lot is very limited, and the spaces are quite tight, so arriving early is probably a good idea. Overall, the food and atmosphere were wonderful, but the slow service took away from what could have been an outstanding dining experience. read more

We had a 1:30 reservation. When we arrived, the front door was locked. We had to go in through the store next to it, which was super confusing. Once we got to the hostess she found our reservation (which stated we needed a high chair or booster seat) and tried to sit us at a high top table. I told her we have a 2.5 year old that will fall off from those chairs. She found us a table in the back and left to help other people. We sat there for a few minutes before finding a high chair for ourselves so the little guy would be less rambunctious. Over 10 minutes went by and we still did not have anyone come to our table. About 12-15 minutes after being there someone came with water and to take our drink order. I asked if they had a drink menu as they looked around our table like we were supposed to have one and we didn't. Luckily she left for 3 minutes and came back. We were scared it would be longer. She dropped off the drink menu and gave us time to look at it. When she finally came over again we placed our drink orders and food orders since we knew apparently it would take forever for anyone to come back to us. 30-35 minutes into being there we finally got our drinks. Which were not good. Mine taste like straight up lemon juice. Which I didn't end up drinking fully since it taste so awful. 20-25 minutes after our drinks arrived our food arrived. The food was pretty good (but at this point because it had been so long our 2.5 year old had passed out and was sleeping) If it wasn't for the service and the drinks, the place would be great. Myah was our server at the bar she was excellent! We got a specialty pizza and it they were able to sub out the bacon for cup and char pepperoni-the pizza is sooo good. We also tried the calamari with Kalamata olives and banana peppers also recommend! I tried placing an online reservation for a same day dinner but it wasn't available. So I tried calling to place a reservation as many ither restaurants in the area were able to help us over the phone, but there was no answer. I figured to just try and see if they were taking any walk ins for the night/ how long the wait would be. The hostess told us it would be about an hour wait and took my name and phone number down. We walked around the lake to waste some time before returning around an hour from when we placed our name down. A new hostess said they had no tables and that they aren't taking anymore walk ins for the night. Huge miscommunication between the two hostess. One didn't tell the other anything. Is it possible to give this restaurant 10 stars?! Wow ! My girlfriend and I were staying at the lakehouse for the weekend and on the Saturday night we decided to venture out and try some pizza. We chose this place because it was a minute away from our room. We called to try and order pick-up but they said they were too busy and we could only dine-in. So we went, we were seated immediately. The place was busy, but not extremely packed. Our server (i forgot her name, all I remember is she said she is a twin!) was amazing!!! She was sooo super sweet and made our experience even better! We ordered the penne alla vodka pasta and the margherita pizza. The pasta was probably the best I've ever had in life! The sauce was absolutely incredible and the pasta was cooked perfectly. This restaurant is SO LOUD. We went with a group of four to celebrate my mother in law, and I could barely hear my family speaking. There was a young woman playing guitar and singing cover songs so off-key that I couldn't wait for her to stop. Even when she took a break, the noise of other patrons was at 11. The food itself was good. We shared the Pietro's salad ($13) and the wedge salad ($14). The garlic parmesan fries ($10) came as a huge portion and plenty to share with four people. We shared the Macri's Famous Veggie pizza (a bit wild at $33) which had a great crust, a nice assortment of veggies, and a sweet homemade sauce. You can tell the difference in a pizza made with 00 flour - it's high quality. Now. What exactly is with the gimmick about the "we only make 25 big pizzas a day" thing? Our server made sure we knew this and when we said we were considering ordering a big pizza to share, she made a show of going back to the kitchen to "reserve" one. She was only doing her job, and I appreciated that we were able to order the pizza we wanted, but it's such a strange vibe for a restaurant with pizza in the name. I'll start with all the positives! Our server, Shannon, was great! Attentive, friendly and accurate! The space is open and pleasant. The high tables are comfortable and spaced at a comfortable distance from others. The food and drinks were very good, but could possibly have been served slightly hotter. The dishes were not cold by any means, but ya know how servers sometimes warn you that the plate is hot - that's what I'm after. Still very acceptable and yummy. Really loved the Brussels sprouts appetizer which was very generously laced with pancetta. The pizzas were good, but would probably try different dishes or pizzas next time. Now for the negative. The live music, while appreciated - was WAYYYYYYY too loud. Just no! My partner and I had to yell to hear each other. At 5 pm on a Monday (Labor Day) - it could be toned down a bit and still be enjoyable. For this reason alone I probably wouldn't return. Just keepin' it real. Just had a great experience here over the holiday weekend. It can be busy here, and there is often a bit of a wait for a table. We made a last minute reservation for a large party, and asked to be seated outside. The host went out of his way to give us a great table, super close to the outside but with shade, so it ended up even better than we hoped for. Service was fast and friendly, accommodating to the vegans in our party. Host even took note of music levels and adjusted it when he decided it was too loud. These days this is not the kind of service I take for granted, so we were all happy to have this experience. Highly recommend! read more

The dough has a thin to medium crust made up of a few simple ingredients: flour, water, yeast, olive oil, and salt. Neapolitan dough differs significantly because of the addition of olive oil. Had heard about Coho and knew I had to look closely to find it - right next to Canandaigua Sailboard. We got seats outdoors- they only have about 4 tables and a bar on the deck - but they have a picnic table and fire pit a few steps down - so we sat at the picnic table. You get a nice view of the north end of the lake, next to the inlet where you rent the SUPs. The service was excellent- from the host to our server Andie (she's a pistol!). Great drink selection too. We had a harvest salad (the 2 ladies spilt it). We got 2 pizzas- the 3 Cheese and the Eggplant Parm pizza. They were good- not great- but we ate it all! My friend got the meatball sub sandwich- he said it was very good. I would rate it 4/5 - considering the view and atmosphere and food as a whole. Not a bad spot to eat on the lake! read more

Stopped by on the way to a bachelorette party weekend. The space was gorgeous and right on the water. Loved the time I spent by the fire pit sipping iced teas. For starters, asked for specifically no cheese due to an allergy and was served cheese. Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and the chicken was completely overdone it tasted like biting into plastic. Not to mention the $3 additional charge for a gluten free bun completely crumbled in my finger tips. The bacon was not cooked. My bf ordered $3 extra avocado and wasn't given any avocado. Our food was thrown into the to go containers basically upside down dripping in sauce it was disgusting. $12 glass of house wine, $20 thin crust, burnt margarita pizza, and service with a chip on their shoulders. Not a great first experience. I arrived 10 minutes early for reservations for a party of 5. The hostess refused to seat me until more of us arrived. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, and it seemed plenty of staff were on hand. A person in my party ordered the calamari and when it came out the waiter dumped all of the sauce down her shirt. Now, I'm sure this was an accident, BUT as the waiter was asked about comping her meal or taking a percentage off, he flat out denied it was his fault. They have updated their menu with specials including reduced price wine nights and a Happy Hour. The service is now both friendly and efficient. The Pizza is still slightly slow to come out but is much quicker than when they first opened. That is ridiculous for a house Cabernet needless to say we drink them so we paid for them, but not happy at all. Arrived and was sat right away. Host was friendly. Could smell dead fish- however that's not really in their control. We were told there was no pizza left? How can you be a pizza place and run out of pizza- I gave them some slack thinking it's just the holiday weekend but seems like there's 2 other reviews on here about them running out of pizza.
