    Smoked Wings!
    Keith B.

This one is tough. Wife has been wanting to take me here for years. Friday off, beautiful day in Stuart, so we picked this place. We had a great time, probably a few hours just relaxing. Crazy nice. I think our biggest pet peeve is food thrown on your table quickly. We had to ask the waiter to not bring all at once and he said don't worry, he'll space it. Well....we ordered smoked wings which were fantastic!! Minutes when we were done he brought our sandwich (wife and I split a few things). Technically yes he 'didn't bring it all at once' but would have loved to enjoy the wings, digest for 15 minutes or so, and then go to sammy. I hate that rushed feeling and at these prices it ought be perfect. The sandwich, the turkey melt, was half cold, half hot. Like the bread hot, the cheese i can't recall, but the turkey was coldish. When I think melt, I think 'all hot'. So was disappointed in this. And $23. $6 ice tea...wtf. I do get soda's now are $4 everywhere. The kicker w was after a $23 sammy, $6 ice team and $17 wings (6 of them), they charged .75 for some extra dressing we asked for as it was half full. That little s* irritates me. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, but.....

    Cheers!

Alex was our server for our first visit today for brunch. Party of 5, tip... offer the second round of cocktails... delicious, but don't make us hunt you down. :) Food so fresh & locally sourced, pancakes are SLAMMING! Turkey sandwich, omelet special, tamales & smash-burgers all done to order and exceptional! This great spot should be a go too, with live music, room outside for kids to play and plenty of cozy nooks for catching up. We will definitely be back!

I have been wanting to try COLAB forEVERRR and finally found the time! Such a cool place, great vibe, clean AND farm to table. Also, every employee we encountered was so friendly! I will say, being cleaner food, some food was more bland, like my burger. I sort of wished it was like the kids burger at their sister restaurant (District Table), which it may be, but it wasn't as flavorful the day I had it. I also wish fries were an option. Since chips or a side salad didn't appeal to me, I upgraded to their potatoes, which I will say were delish! I was so excited to try their dry rubbed wings that were mentioned in many reviews, but they were no longer available, which ended up working out because their sticky wing replacement were AMAZING! My daughter (10) also really enjoyed her avocado toast which had a bunch of ingredients she's not usually fond of, but once incorporated with the dressing, she has now become a tomato fan! Instead of getting dessert at the table we decided to grab the Swiss roll cake in the market that we had seen on our walk in. If you like real buttercream, I highly recommend it! So yeah, I will definitely be back! I do wish they offered some type of brunch promo fun...maybe bottomless or pitchers of mimosa...?!

This is how you do it! Love the concept and loved the food! I appreciate all the vegan options and loved the food. We were happy we got to hang outside with our dog. Growing food on premises so serve is a great way to reduce costs and your environmental impact. I appreciated the shop with plastic-free sustainable products. This is a great place to go! Highly recommend.

First time visitors to this farm-to-table gem that I saw on "Check, Please!" Was excited to try and it did not disappoint! From the ambiance when greeted at the entrance by the quaint market all the way to dessert, my overall takeaway was, "Where have you been all my life?" We arrived during happy hour and dined with another couple. We opted for a table in the main dining area near the lively bar. We started with cocktails and shared appetizers -- brisket nachos and fish dip -- both were excellent. For dinner, my husband and I shared the wagyu beef loin and the daily special cream of mushroom soup (a favorite). Our friends shared the flounder dish and ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts for the table. Everything was delicious. Not one disappointment and the service was on point as well. After dinner we browsed the market and chose two pieces of pie to take home for dessert: Chess Pie and Peanut Butter Cheesecake. I was so full we ate them the next day but both were AMAZING! Can't wait to return.

During spring break I wanted to try a new place near my parents place, and my mom was willing to venture out so we checked out colab kitchen, what a cool place! The whole place is charming, it has a market in the front, indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great! Attentive but not over bearing, I had a delicious BLT, with some Paloma's, and my mom had their tasty wings! I sampled one myself and they were very tasty! Love this place and hope I get the chance to come back!

Came to COLAB on a Saturday evening. When you walk in there's a little storefront where you can buy items which is really awesome. The inside is big, open and spacious, and there's a huge outdoor area as well. This place can get packed! It was pretty noisy when we went as we were seated at a table near the bar. However, we were seated right away and the service was really friendly. I mean selling point for us on this restaurant, was there sourdough starter. We quickly found out that there were quite a few discrepancies between their website menu and actual menu, so be careful of that. The sourdough was actually replaced with their stuffed focaccia. So we ended up ordering two drinks, the stuffed focaccia, deviled eggs, colab tempura, feta watermelon salad and a kids grilled cheese with chips (or you can get fruit) and strawberry yogurt (I believe you can choose from chocolate or strawberry) I'll start with the tempura which was pretty salty, but it wasn't heavy nor greasy, and came with a nice array of veggies. The deviled eggs were fantastic and we appreciated the fact that it was vegetarian (most come with bacon), the mustard seed on top really kicked it up a notch. The feta watermelon salad was unlike anything I've had before. It was refreshing, flavorful, and guiltless. Nutty, zesty, salty, can't really ask for more (and it was a big portion!) The focaccia was actually the best part of the meal. Granted there may have been too much cheese (which isn't something I ever thought I'd hear myself say), the bread was fresh, thick, flavorful and really filling. They even squeeze freshly roasted garlic for you at the table! Id come back just for this dish alone. The kids grilled cheese probably wouldn't suffice for a typical kid who is a fan of a more 'basic' grilled cheese (but thats fine because then the adults can eat the leftovers :P) the chips were nice and crispy, not oily, and the yogurt was so creamy and flavorful. It was very surprising. For dessert we had ordered (and already paid for) a slice of blueberry bundt cake and a peach bread pudding to-go. Come to find out they were out of the blueberry and the only other option was a lavender slice. The bread pudding was fantastic, even though it was to-go. But the lavender bundt tasted exactly like soap, which I figured it would,, and I wouldn't have gotten it had I not already paid. This definitely wasn't a cheap meal, but it was nice to experience things I wouldn't have typically tried and the food was really fresh. Stuart also has a nice little downtown area to walk afterwards. I would for sure come back as their menu seems to rotate a bit, to try new things.

I came here once for lunch and absolutely loved it, so when I was back in the area, I sold some friends of mine from Vero to meet me for happy hour. We spent a good 30 min checking out the store in front before even sitting down. So many great options of desserts, candies, and vegetables to buy. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the nice breeze, while having a few cocktails and some food. The happy hour was outstanding. $5 cocktails, count me in! Also, they do a prefix for $45, which is incredible! They also had another menu with dinner options, outside of happy hour. Service was great. The outside area was awesome. Everyone had a blast!

We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The birthday girl had the short rib grilled cheese which looked exactly like the pictures. She managed to eat the whole thing. I had the steamed clams. The presentation was totally unexpected. It had a pizza dough topper that was puffed up with the clams, linguica & broth nice and steamy underneath. It was an amazing preparation and the dough helped tame some of the spiciness from the linguica. We all said we would come back. It ended up being a great find! The restaurant is spacious with huge windows overlooking the water, which I absolutely loved. It was much too hot to sit outside, so we enjoyed the view from an inside table. We decided to split the steamed clams (without the sausage) and a lobster bisque for lunch. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. A Meal So Good Heaven Might Ask About It…read more Some dinners fill you up. Some dinners impress you. And then there are dinners like the one we had at Chef's Table in Stuart--the kind of meal that feels like it was designed by someone who understands that food is more than nourishment... it's memory. We went to celebrate my son's birthday, and before the first bite even arrived, the experience had already begun. The menus were printed with "Happy Birthday" and his name, a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire evening. It felt personal, intentional--like the night had been prepared just for him. And then the food arrived. I ordered the Bolognese, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the kind of dish you quietly pause for after the first bite. Rich, layered, perfectly balanced--every strand of pasta coated in a sauce that tasted like it had been simmering since the Renaissance. Comforting but refined. Rustic but elegant. It was the sort of plate where conversation stops for a moment because everyone is too busy appreciating what's happening. Across the table, the beef Wellington was a masterpiece. Perfectly pink at the center, wrapped in golden pastry that shattered delicately with each cut, surrounded by a sauce so good it deserved its own applause. The entire meal felt like one of those rare experiences where craft, hospitality, and atmosphere align perfectly. The lighting, the pacing of the courses, the warmth of the service--it all made the night feel like something special was unfolding. If someone told me this would be my last meal on Earth, I wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd probably smile knowing that when I got to the gates, the angels might lean over and ask: "Wait... was it really as good as they say?" And I'd tell them the truth. Yes. It absolutely was. Thank you to the team at Chef's Table for giving my son a birthday dinner we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

The menu is an absolute joke as there is a lot of fill on what they serve you but both my wife I chose the burger as it was the most likely to interpret what I'm ordering. One it came after about an 1 -1 1/2 hours the burger was ok and fry's looked like it was fried in old oil. They were cold and for the money it was not worth it. I think a Macdonald Big Mac would have tasted better at a fraction of the cost. $27 for a burger, cold fries and a small milk shake which I couldn't understand that addition. While sitting at the table I am getting dripped on by the AC duct as that portion is in front of the door opening and with humid air coming in hitting that cold duct it was condensation and dripping on the patrons. In this case me. The server was terrible in my opinion and didn't really cater to many of our needs but the restaurant feels obligated to charge 20% gratuities of 6 people or more. Now I understand that concept as foreign people don't tip like in their country or none at all but that is where the problem is. If a server is good or bad they still are get their tip and in this case there was no incentive for good service. If I am paying $27 for a burger and fries that server better attend to my needs quickly and efficiently. Not sure if I ever will return to this restaurant as it left a bad taste. I usually go by the baseball rule 1 2 3 strikes your out but what brought me over to 3 strikes is the stupid menu and pricing. I think I will make my own dinner at home and bring it to the causeway for a better view and cheaper food and much better food.
