Well now, they're Miss Freakin' America. The space is gorgeous. And they aced the talent competition too. I almost exclusively drink iced coffee, and I don't always love Iced Americanos. But here, they were up front about the fact that it would be an Iced Americano, when some places are sneaky about it. I appreciate that. This coffee roaster is tucked away on the side of a building and offers the best beans you will get anywhere. They roast their own in house and so far my husband and I have tried the Bantam, Mexico and Nicaragua blends and all are fantastic and so unique. Our go to order is the maple latte which I will rave about until the end of time to everyone. They also have a small but delicious selection of baked goods to choose from but our personal favorite are the chocolate chip cookies! One of the 23 vendors was the Traveling Sisters Roasters, and we stopped by to chit-chat and learn a little about the business. They are a Connecticut licensed cottage business out of Colchester, and they roast and sell a few custom blends in bags or K-Cup style Pods. Their coffees are available at Farmer's Markets and special events around Connecticut, and on their website. Connecticut customers can get free delivery. Their seven blends include beans from Peru, Columbia, Brazil, Sumatra, Guatemala, Java Indonesia, Mexico, Ethiopia, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica, so there is a big variety of undertones for your sipping pleasure. The blends also vary in acidity for those with a sensitivity to that. I love dark coffee so there was no way I was going home empty handed. K-Cup pods were $2 each, so I picked up one of three different blends. Here are their web descriptions: Daring Flight - Dark Roast "Featuring dark roasted coffees from Mexico, Guatemala, and Ethiopia. Blended together they make a bold full-bodied cup of coffee with chocolate and citric notes and just a hint of spice. Global Adventure - Dark Roast "Featuring dark roasted coffees of Ethiopia and Colombia. A smooth blend with undertones of sweet chocolate and red fruit with some sweet nuttiness with low acidity." I knew this was going to be my favorite before I even had a sip because the brewed aroma was fantastic - a deep dark flavor profile. We ordered from the nice lady an order of dumplings, pirogies, and a couple of bao buns. Price was good, and food took about 15 minutes to cook but we did some trekking locally to waste time, We got our food, took some pics and dug in. The pirogies were for me, and I must say that they were not pirogies. It was mashed potatoes with cheese in a dumpling wrapper. The dumpling wrappers were fresh, but the dough was not what I expected. The potato and cheese was pretty good though. Didn't use a farmers cheese but did some type of white cheese. The bao were generic. They used the same filling as the dumplings as the bao filling. It really needed a sauce inside to help differentiate it from the dumplings. We also got a black sesame bao, but the inside was very watery and not appetizing at all. So we threw that one away. The owner is a very nice lady, and she's working hard to keep her place busy. It's clear that the stresses of the day keep her strained, but she does mean well enough. For those in the area, it's not a drive to destination. It's pretty good dumplings in a run down shop with an owner fighting to stay afloat. I would recommend going here if you want to support local, and don't mind a bit of grit. The dumplings are fresh, the pirogies are interesting renditions, and they do boba tea.

If I had any small issue at all, I would say it would be great if they did try some brand new flavors.
