When you walk in, it's really a nice break from reality with all of the whimsical, antique, speakeasy feel. You can sip on tea and coffee and walk around the shop. Nice size biscotti went well with their tea. I had the blueberry muffin also. My friend and I had two cups of tea that were great! Staff is super nice and we could have spent more than 2 hrs in there just relaxing and catching up. I look forward to going back there. They have some seating within the mix of the giant coffee roaster area. There were a few people hanging out and people coming and going. The shop was cute, but they were fitting a lot into a little space too. I ordered a black iced coffee. I asked what they used and they just told me it was a medium roast. I assume that means they're using a blend of some sort since you would tend to highlight a high end Single Origin coffee if somebody asked. In any event, service was friendly and efficient. The iced coffee was above average. Smooth. Drinkable. No aftertaste. But it didn't really have any of the flavors of a high end coffee used for iced coffee. Four Stars

The Bean Coffee Roasters is located off of Route 10 in a small plaza with a few other businesses. There's plenty of parking in the lot. The restaurant itself is pretty small, with only a few tables to eat at. Most of the people ahead of me in line were ordering their drinks/food to-go. I had seen a Raspberry White Chocolate Latte posted on their Instagram page as a special for Valentine's Day, and asked the girl behind the counter if she could make it for me. She happily checked to make sure they still had all the correct ingredients, and luckily they did! As someone who is not a huge coffee fan, I thought it tasted delicious! They also use coffee cubes in all of their iced coffee drinks, which I thought was pretty cool (no more watered down coffee!) In addition to coffee and tea, they also had a variety of smoothies on their menu, which all sounded good, in addition to breakfast sandwiches and some baked goods. I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a ciabatta roll, and it was absolutely amazing! There was only one employee working when I went, but she was friendly and efficient. I'll be stopping back soon for sure to try one of their smoothies!

That is exactly what Perkatory offers. I stopped in for a cortado, three shots of espresso with oat milk, no sugar, and it was perfectly balanced and delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish. They greeted me right away, spelled my name correctly, which is rare, and even called it out properly when my drink was ready. The café itself is inside a warm, inviting building with seating in the shop and throughout the hallways. With the walking path nearby and the dog friendly environment, it is the perfect spot to stop during a morning stroll, before a night out, or while exploring the area. Between the quality coffee, attentive service, and dog friendly atmosphere, Perkatory is a spot I will definitely be returning to.

Next time im in the area ill have to try their muffins or chocolate chip brownie!

I've been meaning to come to this place for a short while now. Honestly, the name of this establishment itself is pretty cool. Loaded Goat? Makes me think "liddy on a stack", and anything that makes me think "liddy on a stack" I gotta go check out. I actually tried to write a review here from the last week, but as I was writing, I'd realized something I don't always come across. I was at an impasse and couldn't finish this review on that visit, so I had to plan another trip here. Right away, I notice that rustic interior that's also quite cozy. There many flavors of coffees and latte to choose from with shots if you want something a little extra. Also, the prices here are very reasonable. I didn't get time to sit inside last time, but this time I had a much more laid-back experience. The vibe reminds me a little of a North Carolina ambiance with a splash of California mixed in for good measure. North Carolina because of the interior, and California because of the music. On this visit, the guy tending to me told me the microwave was down, so I couldn't have my croissant toasted. That was quite alright though since I had 2 more stops to make anyway, with one being about half hour's drive away from here. Besides, the croissant was still one of the better croissants I've had in a long time and seasoned perfectly, so I have no complaints, toasted or not. The coffees I had were the Snickers on my first visit and the Coconut Creme Pie Latte this time around. Both lattes were, indeed, liddies on stacks! They were both GOATED, and honestly I would come here more often if my schedules were more friendly to coming here. I have no complaints about this place period. I don't say this following kind of statement often, but I actually prefer this to Starbuck's! That's just how goated this place is.

I like my coffee sweet, so the self-service bar was perfect for customizing. Somewhere they say this is the #1 coffee in the state... I'm not so sure. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but you can tell it has a loyal crowd!
