I got the black cherry vanilla and razzmanian devil in a small with marshmallow sauce and waffle pieces (broken pieces of waffle cone). The flavors were great and the size was more than enough. Only drawback is its outdoor seating only so I personally wouldn't visit on a rainy day but a nice day like today it was the perfect treat.

There was graham crackers in with this creamy lemon ice creamy concoction. One of the best choices here at Pat's and it's new! I love coming here. There were a bunch of other flavors though, like a peppermint one and eggnog! Since there's a good number of seasonal flavors, it was hard to figure out which one to try! While they unfortunately don't offer samples, they do offer an ice cream flight with 6 small scoops for $13.50. Tempting, but I unfortunately didn't need 6 scoops so I went with just the two! A cute option nonetheless. They do let you mix and match flavors of the scoops you get, so I got to try two. The flavors were phenomenal, I was so happy to get try them. I think sundae construction is an extremely underrated thing that I, admittedly, can be a bit of snob about. They are all masters. Nearly all toppings and elements are homemade, as well as all of their own creamy, while not excessively heavy, ice cream flavors! I have been 3 times recently, and most recently had one of the best ice cream experiences of my entire life (if not the best, and all 3 times have been among the top actually). I had a scoop of "Pride" (cake batter with funfetti cake chunks) & a scoop of dairy free blueberry lemon poppyseed in a waffle cone. The extra large homemade cone was crisp and perfection. The Pride flavor was a rare instance of cake batter ice cream not tasting artificial, having an aftertaste, or being overly sweet. The cake chunks were massive. The blueberry lemon poppyseed was utter brilliance. A bright base with all the flavor of the finest lemon poppyseed muffin you could imagine with thick ribbons blueberry , I'll call it a compote (pure fresh saucy blueberry). The other 2 stops I made I ordered sundaes. The first was their May mocha sundae including chocolate cake sandwiched between 2 scoops of espresso chip ice cream with mocha sauce, a biscotti, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. The second was their classic sundae with brownie between 2 scoops of your choice (tiramisu & blueberry), walnuts, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. Both were phenomenal and I love the presentation. The assembly, ratio of toppings and honestly every aspect of the sundae is perfect. The waffle cone was good too, but it had a big hole in the bottom. Luckily, I noticed Dixie cups on the counter. So I just placed the cup under the cone. Service was pleasant and efficient. I got two scoops of the Stellar Coffee flavor. The ice cream was light, rich coffee flavor with a thick fudge swirl and a generous amount of mini dark chocolate coffee cups. My husband tried the Strawberry Shortcake Bomb, their take of the Good Humor bar. There was strawberry ice cream in the center, wrapped in vanilla, and rolled in the strawberry shortcakes pieces. They had other fun flavors and treats like a Neil's Donut Ice Cream Sandwich (would love to try this next). Sundae Afternoon is in a great area that we pass by often. It's next to a Subway and across the street from the Yalesville Veterinary Hospital. They have dog friendly ice cream treats too. For a small shop, it's very open. This is a small, fairly new dessert spot, and my experience was amazing from start to finish. When you walk up, there are large glass windows that give you a nice view inside. The space has a simple, modern white-and-brown aesthetic with brown stools, a wooden countertop, and a small seating area where you can sit and look outside while enjoying your treats. The owner was working in the back when we visited and was very welcoming and helpful. I had quite a few questions because there are so many delicious options on the menu that honestly, you're going to want to try everything! He was happy to explain things and help me decide what to order. We tried two Dirty Sodas: Pink Cloud and Ocean Breeze. Both were sweet, fizzy, refreshing, and really tasty. I definitely want to come back and work my way through some of the other drinks because there were several that caught my attention. For dessert, I ordered the Kinder Stick, and this was SO good! It had roughly five fresh strawberries on a stick, topped with chocolate, Kinder Bueno, and toasted coconut flakes. The combination was absolutely delectable. You get the freshness of the strawberries, the sweetness of the chocolate and Kinder Bueno, and that little bit of texture and flavor from the toasted coconut. It was the kind of dessert that completely satisfies your sweet tooth. One thing I really appreciated is that they use fresh ingredients, handmade batters, and make things to order. You can taste that freshness in what we ordered. The coconut and passionfruit flavors balanced each other perfectly and tasted very tropical. The boba strawberry passionfruit lemonade was also packed with flavor. It had fresh strawberry pieces, lemon slices, and passionfruit pulp. Just be careful of the lemon seeds. For the three items I spent about $45, but considering the fresh ingredients, presentation, and portion sizes, I would say the price is reasonable.
