No, In fact I'd say it's worse, as I wonder if anyone is actually keeping an eye on these people as to the pesticide levels. They are terribly rude and overpriced on top of it! If you read the dirty dozen and the clean 15 it gives you recommendations for which items you should buy all means get organic all the time and which items you don't have to worry about. Peaches and blueberries with their thin skin are things that one should get organic. Support organic growers.

The tented reception area in the orchard, was also very lovely, located next to a small lake that was dotted with colorful Adirondack chairs that made the most beautiful sunset photo opp. Rest assured, Mark was there to capture that moment with his camera! I have been conflicted between a 3 or 4 star and I have decided to give it a 3.5 stars, but will round down to 3 stars just because the wait can be extremely long with inattentive service. My dilemma is that even though I gave this place a 3 star, I would still highly, highly recommend people go to Rose's Berry Farm because you don't just go here for the food, but for the entire experience. Rose's Berry Farm is one of those places where you truly get to appreciate all the little things about life. Although I do understand that the wait can be frustrating, I like to think of it as just a longer time to be spending quality time in nature with your loved ones while appreciating your breath taking surroundings. This past Sunday I had friends from out of state visiting and decided to take them to Rose's. We arrived at around 11 am and waited around an hour to be seated so be prepared to be standing there for a bit. We ordered their Belgian Waffles, French Toast, and Quiche. The waffles and French toast come with Rose's homemade jam and whipped cream, which are AMAZING (I cannot emphasize that enough, you really have to try it). I have tried their Breakfast Burrito in the past and I don't think it is anything special so I do not recommend ordering that. My go to order for Rose's would be the Belgian Waffles with the jams and whipped cream on the side and the quiche. I normally don't enjoy waffles that much, but the waffles I had at Rose's were just so fluffy and when paired with the jam and whipped cream it's just a flavor explosion! Don't let the 3 stars scare you off, definitely give Rose's a try if you're ever around Glastonbury and are looking for something to do on a Sunday morning :)

The entrance fee is well worth the time spent here and the excitement you'll see on your toddler's face the entire time. Though my toddler wasn't old enough for some of the activities she managed to run around the entire farm, through corn mazes, see all the animals, and pumpkin patch nonstop. There are food trucks as well if you want to really spend the day here which is a cool perk. The grounds are very clean and safe and there are workers monitoring the area nonstop and even parking attendants! I cannot wait to take my daughter back we both had so much fun.

We were driving by on our way to another farm and we saw the sign that said .99 for a pound of apples. We decided to check it out and we call to get more information about times and days. It just so happened that a truck was driving by and encouraged us to drive up the road where this lovely lady welcomed us and showed us the way to Apple picking. We were told and observed that they also sell Christmas trees and they have reopened the apple picking this year. Long story short we had an entire orchard just for ourselves and a great time picking Golden delicious and Gala apples. They had more varieties but these were our favorites. Cash only but a great value! We got a bushel of apples for $20! You can't beat that!

In the back of the shop is a Christmas tree farm. The men in the tree farm were very nice and offered me my own saw to cut down the tree of my liking. I was flabbergasted because I'm from NYC...saws are definitely not within arms reach at any tree farm...or anywhere...unless you're at Home Depot or something.
