We come here a lot. But today we had pretty horrible service. My husband ordered butterfinger milkshake size large. The lady behind the counter couldn't hear him so she said "what did you just say" and he ordered again. She then walked away behind the wall in the front. Another worker asked if we've been helped and we just said we ordered a milkshake. The First Lady came back and said "oh you're helping them. Here make a milkshake" the experience was very odd. The store was clean and organized. I was welcomed and offered help quickly. There were spoons in the bag and i was given napkins. My family and i enjoyed the treats very much. The ice cream was rich and creamy. There were plenty of ingredients and they were well incorporated. The peanut butter flavor was notably delicious. I just have to rave about this place , after seeing all the reviews I'm really not sure why this place has such a bad review... it kind of makes sense with people being upset about mix ins not being allowed after a certain time, the workers still have to clean it I think. But the workers are very nice, especially for being all teens. The blue glasses one was very nice and knowledgeable and got my orders done very quickly. I came in last night after thinking it closed at 11, and still the workers were very friendly and tried to make it the best experience. Great job coldstones! read more

I don't know what it is, but coming in to Cold Stone always is exciting for me since you have all these toppings to choose from! The nice thing about it is you have several sizes to choose from. "Like it" is the perfect size for me. I always get strawberry ice cream with almonds and graham crackers. It's a delicious combo! Service is always good when I come to this location. read more

I decided to come back here since it has been several months after my last visit and to satisfy a craving that came out of nowhere while running errands in the afternoon. Cold Stone Creamery is located in the same commercial plaza as Kaladi Brothers Coffee and a dental office on the corner of Old Seward Highway and Huffman Rd. in the south end of town. This is one of my favorite places to grab a cold treat during the summer months or if my sweet tooth is acting up. This place always has promotional Signature Creations every month to coincide with the holiday apart from the ones on the menu. The special they had this time around is called the Falling Into Chocolate (fudge truffle ice cream with chunks of brownies, fudge, and whipped topping) on a medium-sized waffle bowl. This was really good with a large amount of chewy brownies to add an extra dose of chocolate flavor on top of the ice cream. The waffle bowl freshly baked was absolutely delicious with the top part of the bowl dipped in milk chocolate. The other Signature Creations for chocolate lovers I would recommend include the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection (chocolate ice cream with Reese's Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Cups, and fudge....no need for dinner after eating this), German Chocolate Cake (chocolate ice cream with pecans, coconut, brownies, and caramel), and the Oreo Overload (sweet cream ice cream with chocolate chips, a double serving of Oreo cookies, and fudge). The reason why I decided to go with four stars instead of staying at five was the employee behind the counter working at the time. Most of the other employees are cheerful and friendly whenever I come in but this one didn't smile or greet customers as they walked in. I placed my order and she seemed like she didn't want to start on it. She was probably having an off day and my doubts soon dissolved once I got my chocolate fix. 25 May 2018; 9:45pm My first time coming to this Cold Stone. It was busy and I'm a patient person. My friend and I get to the counter and there are 2 of the 4 workers just standing around. Finally someone gets to us and asks if we've been helped. We tell them no. They walk off and then another worker skips like 4 of us in line and assists some other people in line. Finally the guy comes back and asks what we wanted. He gets ice cream and forgets what I ordered. Idk if they were just tired after the rush or what but the young kids were not courteous AT ALL and kind of spaced out. I will NOT be coming back to this Cold Stone again. read more

I was waiting for about 20 minutes for my order and saw one of the staff unwrap 3 Reese's cups bare handed and then mash those up into someone's ice cream. All the staff was getting ice cream on their hands and one wiped her hands off on her shirt. They didn't fully clean/melt off the ice cream from the scoops, so flavors ever so slightly crossed. I suppose that isn't a huge deal, but I feel it shouldn't be that way. The only time I ever saw anyone use gloves was when one of the staff was making and ice cream cake and they used one glove to handle the piece of cake into the pan. That's all. read more

Aweful experience skipped over my family and I in line then when I went to pay they told me they didn't have change. As I am paying they told my family that there wasn't enough room for in dinning so they had to leave even though we had not finished paying and which we were planning on taking it home anyways do to no seating in the store. Have been using them for years but this has topped the cake and ruined it. Very rude employees and serviced just flat out sucked for the price you pay there. I've always had a great experience with this coldstone location. I've gone in earlier and had no wait time and a clean place. But I've also been there when it's later and a little busy... I've noticed that when it's later and really busy that it's a little less clean and a much longer wait time. But I understand because I've work in food services as well. When it gets busy they don't have the time to run out and clean tables because that would frustrate customers, but then customers get upset when the tables aren't clean. Or people get upset that the wait time is too long but you have to understand that that line has probably Been going all day and sometimes they may need a break because if you watch what their doing, it's a lot of strain on their hands and wrists. If you're willing to be patient during a busy day there, the Pay off will be great. Just keep in mind that their out here just trying to make a living just as you do! I've never had a worker be disrespectful in any way. Also be sure to keep in mind that they help their groups by who is paying together. So if you want your group to go by faster, pay all together! read more
