As far as ice cream goes, I can't beat this location! It's close to my house & the late hours are great for when we have a late-night sweet tooth! Their creations are ALWAYS on fire & they have so many to choose from. Currently, the Falling in Chocolate creation they have for Valentine's Day is my favorite. It's creamy, has delicious brownies in it & it just hits the spot. The store is usually clean, as well as the restroom. The area inside is pretty large compared to the other location & there's seating outside as well. Customer service is hit or miss though. Sometimes, we're greeted with warm welcomes & other times, it's like they can't wait to get you out the door. The latter being more frequent. I hope the young people who work here realize how capable this location is but their attitude definitely makes or breaks the experience as a whole. read more

Listen, as far as the ice cream goes, it's hard to mess up an order right? My problem with this specific location was the way the girl who was preparing the ice creams would do so without gloves on and then go to the register and cash out the customer... then help the next customer in line without washing her hands or using hand sanitizer!! Disgusting!!! I was appalled, I snapped one picture while I waited and walked right out after seeing this. I also noticed cash on the counter where it's evident food is prepared on and that's just unsanitary, I wish I would have had the guts to take a picture of that. I tried the new dairy free silk almond milk chocolate ice cream with banana, chocolate shavings and coconut flakes mixed in And it was delicious! Couldn't even tell it was non dairy! Efficiency exists here but that's about it. The staff works quickly and gets people served but don't expect them to be happy or friendly about it. I went in and got ice cream for my wife and myself and while the girl did make eye contact while taking the order that was the last of that business. She quickly made the creation, but forgot an ingredient that I had to remind her about and got them ready to go with a lid for me. I thanked her and in plain sight of 2 employees I gave them a tip just due to them being speedy, neither of them even acknowledged the tip much less sang for the tip like many other Cold Stone locations do they simply put their heads down and walked off. The picture on the website is what I thought I was going to get, well the send picture is what I actually got. I called them right away and the girl said that when the person in charge comes in she will have her call me around 5pm... I tried eating it, but just threw it out in trash, I got busy, never heard back till finally around 8pm I decided to call them. Stellar ice cream every time!! Friendly staff and efficient. My only complaint is that I think they were a little rushed and didn't leave my ice cream on the cold stone long enough. It was already melting a dripping by the time I got it. That's ok though, I just ate it faster. Visited during Covid peak so there was no inside eating. I came to Cold Stone to purchase gift cards for students in my classroom whom were top earners in our fundraiser. On 6/5/23 In the evening I was denied my cards due to the fact that my 2003 $100 bill was too old. The person behind the counter said they only accept new $100 bills. I could have took out my ATM card but I no longer wanted to give them my business. Yougart Zone gladly accepted my money. Yougart Zone made pleasant conversation. I really enjoy coming to Cold Stone Creamery and more if we have a gift card. My first experience here was getting a cake for my daughter since she wanted an ice cream cake and this is the only place I could think of that sells them. I'm glad I did because it was DeLiCiOuS! Everyone loved it and wanted more! I was glad that I got to purchase one item to serve the purpose of two. Anyway, today we came to get some ice cream for the house and the kids wanted to try almost everything and they did. The lady helping us had a lot of patience. At the end, the kiddos ordered a kids scoop of their favorite and I bought some ice cream for the house. Their prices for one scoop are basically the same as the quart of ice cream we got to bring home but you only get what they have pre-made for sale. There are not a lot of ice cream options on the Eastside, but IMHO this is your best bet. There is ample seating inside plus 2 outdoor tables on sidewalk in front of the store. There are 2 more tables on the sidewalk next door in front of Quiznos that I'm sure they probably wouldn't throw you out of if you wanted to utilize them for your ice cream guzzling pleasure. Cold Stone Creamery sells a variety of cold creamy treats including ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, shakes, ice cream cakes, and even shaved ice. The ice cream is served in three sizes, referred to as 'like it' (5 oz), 'love it' (8 oz), and 'gotta have it' (12 oz). You choose your flavor of ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt and then decide which mix-ins you want to have added. Instead of being sprinkled on top, the mix-ins are actually mixed in over a cold stone to keep the ice cream from melting. There are a number of signature flavors or you can choose your own combos. On this particular I was a bit of a purist and chose to have a strawberry mango sorbet in the 'like it' size with no mix-ins. It was very good, creamy and delicious, but I really only needed half the amount they gave me to be satisfied. Don't get me wrong - I finished the whole thing - I just didn't really need that much ice cream. You can also order larger quantities of ice cream (with or without mix-ins) to go in sizes called 'mine' (16 oz), 'ours' (32 oz), and 'everybody's' (48 oz). This location is absolutely terrible. Each and every time I go in to make a purchase I am either barley greeted or not greeted at all. I am instead looked at with an attitude as if both females employees HATE their job. I am ALWAYS rushed and make me feel very uncomfortable when speaking to them because they'll get annoyed. The female that works night shifts with a long braid is the worst she has been there forever and acts as though she cannot remember the code to give me and my husband our military discount. I find that very rude and offensive considering she has used it random times before. I understand if they need a higher ups approval but they do not. I would give you guys 5 stars however There is a specific girl who works here with greenish/blue hair that is always so rude to me. Always has an attitude when I nicely ask for a lid or for napkins. When checking out she rips the receipt out of the printer to give to me with such attitude. On top of all that she always makes me ice cream nasty. I ask for bananas and she mushes them I ask for caramel. I barely get any ! On top of all that the worst part is that when I went today she Cross contaminated food. Someone asked for peanut butter mixed with Oreo and she put the peanut butter ice cream in the Oreo ice cream that all the other workers take from for other customers !!!! THIS IS HIGHLY WRONG. Dirty Dirty Dirty! This place is poorly managed and disgusting. Ice cream is scooped and handled with dirty hands and no hair nets. Feel free to view my photos for the side effect of buying ice cream from a place like this. Hair was found by a guest whom we shared this ice cream with and we brushed it off (thinking it was theirs)..... until we scooped deeper into the carton and there was 4 MORE PIECES of hair found and who knows how much more hair we ate before realizing this was a serious issue! I pulled at one of the hairs in the carton and it just kept coming and coming! Trying to calm my gag reflexes as I share this review. You're not greeted as you walk through the door anymore, the employees aren't smiling, there is some dirty, old cup at the register that say "tips" and even when you do tip they don't say anything. What happened!?! It used to be such a fun environment! Now it's sad! I asked the person helping us what do they put the York Peppermint Patty in and she said "I don't know, mostly the mint ice cream I guess." I asked her if they ever try new creations or make recommendations with the ingredients and she said "No, not really." Okay then....end that conversation or lack there of lol. Definitely not worth the price either. I ordered the Gotta Have It, Strawberry Blonde, no graham cracker crumbs, add brownie. She hardly chopped up the ingredients. The strawberries were maybe in half and brownie was in maybe three chunks, so it was basically not mixed in. When I got it home and tried to mix it better, it turned into the texture of soup. Sooo not worth $6.99 + tax. The two stars is only because the ice cream and ingredients are always delicious...I think it's too bad they've changed the standards, but if this is what is going to be like, I'll go elsewhere. read more

Vernon Ave. Here, they have tasty ice cream and they fold in the toppings you want, in the quantity you like. I get more ice cream for a better price here. I pretty much avoid the other place these days because they have become too impersonal. The folks here at Cold Stone are really nice and welcoming, and they are glad to see me.
