You can never go wrong when deciding to stop at Sweet Fix Creamery. Always great service and everyone inside the store and out is having a great time. Lots of smiles while eating ice cream.
After a night out of eating, we stopped in for some ice cream. It was a nice line but it went by fast. The two young ladies behind the counter were amazing and handled every customer with a smile. Today we tried a new flavor and it was good. The ice cream is not too sweet and always refreshing.
I stopped by before going to Trader Joe's and it was such a good decision. I got one of their seasonal flavors blueberry honey lavender and it was so nice. I don't see a lot of blueberry ice creams I was very excited. The lavender flavor is a bit more subtle and the blueberry is more prominent so if you like blueberry you should get this flavor

It is common to see either Tom or Kate, the husband and wife co-owners & dynamic duo, onsite greeting customers and checking up on folks with interpersonal details that comes from building a community around their ice cream. The care for the community of regulars they have built and newcomers alike goes above and beyond. Now. Let's give you, THE SCOOP ON THEIR ICE CREAM. The term mouthwatering may be an understatement. Their mainstays and suggested sundae combo options are consistently delicious. Kate, the credited mastermind by her husband Tom, and her team in the kitchen are extremely particular in how they source their ingredients, opting to go local and fresh as often as possible. They also rotate roughly 8 new flavors a month into their selection which are somehow innovative and absolutely scrumptious. Here the sourcing of their produce and ingredients shine as seasonal and fresh flavors dance on your tastebuds with every bite. This monthly rotation makes it worth returning here regularly extra fun and exciting. They're always getting inventive and experimental in the ice cream and dessert world at large with other seasonal options worth looking into. At the time of this review, they are doing seasonal pies which are worth snagging for any holiday celebration. They're so yummy and taste so fresh. But with their talent in the kitchen and how they source their ingredients, I am not even surprised, just consistently impressed. Mad props and kudos to the folks in the kitchen making it happen. As far as mainstays, I rotate between the Give Me S'More, Cookie Monster, and The Classic Brownie. And who could ever say no to an ice cream cookie? Especially with their cookies. Yum! The shop is always spotless. It is obvious the whole Sweet Fix team works hard to keep the store clean, comfortable, and sticky-counter free.
I came with a friend on a weekend evening for a quick treat. The inside was very crowded with people - I wish there were more seating options inside. I got the Biscoff ice cream and my friend got the lemon sorbet. The Biscoff was delicious and perfectly sweet. The lemon sorbet was also very yummy. Overall we had a great experience and will be back to try more flavors.

The Belgium Cookie tasted like a Biscoff cookie mixed into rich, creamy ice cream, and the Georgia Peach Cobbler was packed with real peaches and crumbled biscuit pieces. Plus, the staff was unbelievably nice, welcoming, and truly customer-focused. We'll definitely be back!
Stopped in before Christmas to pick up something sweet. We got a sampler of their seasonal flavors. All were delicious! We loved the Gingerbread so much that we took some home to enjoy. Made some affogato with the gingerbread ice cream and espresso. We've been here several times now and the staff is always very friendly and hel. We also appreciate the quality of the ingredients they use here- especially their milk and cream. It makes a huge difference.
When I walked in with my husband, they instantly knew him, but after he (jokingly) insisted he doesn't go in THAT often, they pretended he didn't stop in all that often. Ha! He is an ice cream lover, and this is his favorite spot. They use fresh, natural, homemade ingredients and they use them well. The flavors on offer change fairly often, so there's always something new to try, along with their regular flavors. One of my favorites is the Mexican Hot Chocolate, which has a nice warmth with the spices. Today I tried the new Apple Cider Donut ice cream and... Hold on.. Pardon my language.. Sooo f-ing good! Super high quality ingredients, creative flavors, sweet staff, and super cool owners. I highly recommend this place .
So I was craving pumpkin ice cream while I was shopping at Trader Joe's. I went over to Sweet fix to see if they have it but they won't have it until November. It seems like something they should have in October. But while I was in there, I felt like getting watermelon and lemon combined because it is still summer and this is refreshing. I believe they are both sorbets.
Yummy ice cream and Italian ice with a variety of flavors, including special seasonal ones. Like that they're not too sweet and made with natural ingredients. Our favorites were the sugar and spice and black sesame but we liked the sweet cream and toasted almond, too. Bright spot with friendly service!
This is where I get my Sweet Fix when I'm in Bakersfield. They are located across the street from the Hyatt Place I was staying at, so I actually walked over. Located in the same plaza as Trader Joes. As I approached there was cute tables outside, and cute tables inside as well. Very family friendly. Jacob welcomed me in and helped me with my order. He informed me of their locally sourced high-quality ingredients, and how all the ice cream are made in small batches here at the store. Their ice creams are all natural, made from scratch, no high fructose corn syrup, pasture-grazed dairy, no preservatives or additives, no artificial flavors or colors. Their Italian ices are dairy free, fat-free, gluten free, vegan, premium fruit puree and fruit blends, with no preservatives or additives. I had a few samples and I could taste the quality in each bite. The texture was perfect! It was so hard for me to narrow it down, but Jacob let me know that I could pick 2 flavors for the small. Yay! As a fan of seasonal flavors, I got their Christmas Peppermint and Gingerbread Crinkle Cookie. Both were delicioussssss. I'm sad I can't have them all year long but I am also excited to come back to try more of Sweet Fix Creamery's creations. I can see myself visiting Sweet Fix every time I'm in town. Until next time!
This ice cream is hands-down the best I've ever had in my life! What makes it even better is that I can enjoy as much of this creamy, delicious goodness as I want without that heavy, regretful feeling you sometimes get with regular ice cream. It's pure happiness in a cup. And the experience doesn't stop with the ice cream. The owner is one of the kindest, most welcoming people you'll ever meet, which makes the whole visit feel even sweeter. Sweet Fix Creamery sits in a charming little town shop surrounded by other great spots, so the whole place has that cozy, small-town magic. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Went with my bf to get ice cream at this ice cream shop and it was sooooo good and they did not skimp out on the scoops! The worker was kind and patient while I was trying some samples and even informed us of a student discount they have. Overall, ice cream was rlly good and there was a variety of interesting and diverse flavors to choose from. I will definitely be coming back. Really enjoyed and recommend the toasted coconut and the dubai was so yum it's unfortunate it's a limited edition flavor.

Best Ice Cream I've ever had. This is a family owned ice cream shop. They created their own recipes and make the ice cream themselves. These hand crafted ice creams are velvety and delicious. They have a wonderful array of flavors. But what I like most is that they are not overly sweet, don't get me wrong that are sweet enough. But some places have factory ice cream that is so sweet and full of additives that it doesn't taste good. Here you just get simple creamy deliciousness with simple ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful in this lovely little shop. It was a beautiful day so I was able to sit outside to enjoy my treat. It was the most relaxing moment of my week. I've always shopped at Trader Joe's but never had the chance to try this place out. And after seeing some posts from IG, I thought I'd give them a try today. Loved the vibe/interior as well as the variety of flavors to choose from. There were 2 young ladies that helped us out but the other one seemed like she didn't want us there. Tried their Southern Banana Pudding and The Classic Brownie with French Chocolate Ice Cream. - Southern Banana Pudding: it was good but it tastes like Trader Joe's Banana Pudding Ice Cream without the Nilla wafers. I was expecting some texture from the wafer but it wasn't there. - Classic Brownie with French Chocolate Ice Cream: loved the french chocolate ice cream. It was rich and creamy but the presentation was a little underwhelming though. read more
This was my first time trying this establishment, it was recommended to me by one of my yelp foodie. I wanted ice-cream after work. Small space but so much traffic. This place offers outside seating and FREE SAMPLES! The guava seasonal flavor was #1 #2 was seasonal berry 3 leches and #3 was seasonal almond something, I can't recall the name. I loved their customer service. The price is a tad high but the quality and quantity tells you why. The only complaint I have is the serving container. Please find a better one where when my ice-cream is melted I can drink it lol. I absolutely loved this place and I highly recommend it. read more

It is a monthly tradition to come by and have a delicious treat with my partner. We enjoy the change of flavors and the homemade flavors. This month especially really reminded me of spring treats growing up. When we come with the family and all want to try the same flavors, it's always a good idea to grab a tasting flight. The waffle chips are so fresh and sweet. You cannot go wrong with any flavor. And to even taste before you decide is just perfect. A must stop shop every month, no matter the year for some yummy flavors. Everyone is always super helpful and patient! This was a nice spot to find as we were looking for an ice cream spot after a wedding and this was the only spot nearby open until 11! The 24 Carrot Gold was so yummy! Too bad this is the only place to get it since I'm from out of town, but the next time I roll through Bakersfield I will definitely make a stop here again! Wow, what an amazing place. While visiting family, they brought us here to check it out. I've never been more impressed by both staff and food. Cute little ice cream shop in town! They have tons of flavors that they rotate and a handful that are seasonal. The staff is super nice and friendly and happy to help with tasters. The ice cream is well made- creamy and full of flavor. Perfect way to cool off in the crazy heat!! My favorite was the amaretto chip with delicious cherries and chocolate chunks in it. We have been here a few time now and the ice cream is delicious! We brought all our girls here and we're yet to bring our boys to check it out. I really love the fact that when you walk up you can smell the waffle cones being made. You automatically know you're gonna have a fresh and delicious cone. They have a good amount of flavors and they have seasonal flavors as well. I really wish I had a chance to get the seasonal coffee/espresso flavor. I can't remember what the name was, but I think of it every now and then. I definitely look forward to trying other flavors and I also know that we will definitely be back. I don't have a favorite yet, but give me time and I'll have one. This place is new and I first visited during a Yelp event. I'm really glad I found a new delicious spot to grab a treat from. Staff has been absolutely amazing and super friendly each time we have visited. Parking is a little bit hectic because of where they're located and because it's already busy with Trader Joe's and the other businesses nearby. read more

Okay, so I ended up trying this place for an event and let me tell you, I'm an addict now! I've been back with my daughters twice in a week because I can't get enough. My personal favorite is the butterscotch cookie. It is delicious but I've also gotten the rose champagne cake and the salted Carmel pretzel, both of which were terrific. My daughters love the cookies and cream, bourbon vanilla, and the season Frappuccino one. I love that non only is the ice cream delicious and smooth, it's all-natural. The staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile and say goodbye when you leave. They happily give you samples of whatever you want to try, and they give generous scoops. Plus, the place is super cute. We can't wait to go back and try the new seasonal flavors for February. Tip: add waffle pieces. They are freshly made and amazing! And they have happy hour from 3-4 for students. read more
This creamery is located in the Trader Joe's parking lot. It's been open about three months now. Jacob, the manager was working when we came in. Super welcoming asked if we had ever been there. When we said we haven't, he explained everything to us. Great customer service. You can sample the ice creams before you buy them to make sure that's what you want. I don't eat ice cream so I didn't have any but my friend and her wife enjoy ice cream so they tested a few flavors before making a decision. They had a hard time picking because everything was so delicious. They got a small cup, and then enjoyed every bite. They said they will definitely return at a future date. I've stopped in a handful of times and the service is great always greeted with smiling face for sure! I love the rotating flavor they have and how creamy their ice cream is! I am defiantly a dessert girl, and this place did not disappoint. Some of my favorites have been the banana brownie, cookie dough, Belgian cookie and Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster was being tested out but I hope it becomes a staple is was sooooooo good! This place is a must try. Cute place family friendly for sure. Next time I'm there I'll be trying the Italian ice. read more

My family has visited Sweet Fix several times without me, and it was finally my turn yesterday. I have really been loving the Toasted Almond flavor, but everything that has been brought home has been amazing. I really like the creamy texture of the ice cream. The shop is in a very popular shopping center (Town & Country) and is easily accessible. The interior is decorated simply and it gives you a very clean, fresh feel. It goes along with the simple and fresh ingredients. We were immediately greeted and the employee was super helpful and allowed us to try a couple new flavors. Their choice of flavors are unique and tend to run with the season and what is locally available. You might find yourself stepping out of your comfort zone and finding a new favorite flavor. We were first introduced to Sweet Fix by seeing their stand at a high school football game. It's great that they are able to take their product on the go. read more

Great Service, nice place, The brownies are fluffy . It's a cute shop I went into this place to check it out . The ice cream is delicious, they let you sample any flavor and how many you want to try . The frosted root beer , taste exactly like a root beer float . They have bake goods , Chocolate chip cookie Brownies Donuts The brownies are soft and fluffy , I'm in shocked the brownies are the best brownie I have ever had . Found this great Creamery in Bakersfield. Walked in on their Grand Opening on Sept. 9th. Had the Coffee Expresso Ice Cream Shake and it was super awesome. My wife got scoop of the Raspberry Chocolate Chip. The service was great and super friendly. Inside is beautiful and super clean. Highly recommend this for your Ice Cream fix Excellent flavors. It's Sunday and my other half and I were craving something sweet ... had to try the latest ice cream joint in town. I must say the staff is super friendly and patient. You can sample as many flavors as you want; which I absolutely loved. I opted for the apple cider donut ... omg omg omg ... flavors buzz in your mouth. So delicious. It's so creamy. I wish the waffle cone scoop was filled up to the entire cone though. My other half got the Belgian cookie ... it was delicious as well; flavors are popping. I love that they had regular flavors; but also have flavors that are unique and seasonal. I like that there are tables to sit and enjoy your treats inside and a table outside.
