Originally, I would have liked to order a carrot cake but those cakes need to be ordered at least a week in advance so that was very much my fault. I ended up going with a classic tres leches cake which tasted wonderful. Miriam was the one to help me out. Bonus points for having the same name ;) Miriam made great detailed questions to make sure the cake was exactly what I wanted it to be referencing off a picture I had showed her as inspiration. From size all the way down to the smallest details, Miriam disclosed information about how certain designs or details I wanted would change the presentation of the cake, and made sure I was delightlfuly satisfied with what would be the result. She broke down every last detail including how the icing would likely stain our mouths and very nicely reassured me that it would rise right off with water swishes. Overall I was incredibly satisfied with the service I was given, and I greatly appreciate how Miriam thought about every question in order to complete my desired vision.

Came in to Cold Stone to try out the new PB&J ice cream sandwich that my friends raved about. The staff was friendly and fast paced to help everybody on this 100* day, I was in and out pretty quick. The place is really clean, and a joy to visit compared to other sticky floor ice cream parlors. Will definitely come back and try new flavors. 5 stars for a clean store and good customer service. p.s. it tastes just like those Smuckers pb&j sandwiches I used to get for breakfast at school. read more

She walked towards the back area, flipped through some pages on the wall, and proceeded to talk to the 3 female workers. Two of which were passing the phone around. They conversated and laughed for about three minutes. Meanwhile, the male worker patiently worked on the customer's drinks. He seemed to be the only one on the floor actually doing his job! One of the female workers looked at me and walked towards me with her head down. She politely took my order but by then I was annoyed. I paid for my drink and my bread, (which btw was burnt from the bottom). Unfortunately, I did not notice until I got home. This location needs to train their staff all around. Burnt bread and horrible service. I'd much rather drive to the 85 in Gardena. They have waaaaaay better customer service.

She told me that she asked me if I wanted the toys and I said no, which wasn't true I literally told her I wanted as pictured. She told me that wasn't true but I could come back and get the toys for $12. She also stated that she had not charged me for the cakes I understand that mistakes happened but I was bothered by the lack of accountability. She could have apologized because either she misunderstood or did not finish the cake instead she gaslit me and was dismissive. I called another baskin and asked if the cakes in their binder are charged additional for the toys and told me that the toys are not an additional charge, the cake price includes the toys. I drove back to the store and when I walked in she said that I was here for the toys and asked her co worker if she could help me but her co worker said no since she was ringing someone else up. The girl had to help me and again told me it'd be $12 for the toys. I told her that I had called another baskin and asked if the toys came included without additional charge which they said yes to. However, she still claimed that the toys were additional charge. I asked her to call her manager but since her manager was not present she called her through her phone which I felt was sketchy. Finally, she came back and after speaking with her manager she told me that just for this once the toys would be free but next time I have to make sure I purchase them. I told her next time she has to tell me if they are or aren't included with the cost. She clearly made a mistake by not including the toys, instead of just giving me the toys since clearly lacks customer service and cannot admit she was in the wrong, she is really trying to charge me for HER mistake. Additionally, yesterday when I purchased from the store she tried to charge me for a double scoop ice cream cup that I had paid for beforehand. I did do two separate orders with more ice cream in the second order but she was hesitant to remove the additional cost of the 1st order even after showing her my receipt. Overall, I felt the girl was very disorganized and unprofessional.
