The first sample was "Pumpkin Spice Latte," and the employee said "it's so bad. The coffee flavor is just too much. You probably won't like it." The worst customer service ever on July 27. Around 4:15 PM. Three girls working behind the counter none of them are taking orders. I hope the manager is able to watch the video and witness that a lot of us were just standing there until I asked if they were taking orders and they looked at each other super confused like oh yeah sorry we didn't know. The girl who ended up making my order, put it in a cup instead of a cone and started apologizing profusely. Here's the thing I didn't ask for a cone. Inside wasn't necessarily spotless but was tidy. My bigger concern was the guy with long, brown hair (think shoulder length) with it completely down. He had a hat on but that doesn't mean much. They don't clean it after mixing someone's ice cream and just keep piling on every person's mix on top of each other. It really looked disgusting! We ordered a customized ice cream cake. It wasn't busy the afternoon we put in our order, but the quiet young guy at the counter wasn't especially helpful in answering our questions as we flipped through the picture book. I started to get worried as he didn't seem to care what we were doing and appeared perplexed as how to put in the order. However, he finally did warm up a bit to us when we asked him for ice cream samples. He assured us that my cake would be ready 5 days later when we needed it. On pickup day, it was super busy in the store, but they went into the back freezer to get the ice cream cake. It looked beautiful! We ate it yesterday, and although the layers inside appeared a little uneven, it was everything we had ordered! Correct size, correct wording/spelling, correct frosting with sprinkles, correct cake flavor, correct ice cream with the right two mix-ins... It was sweet, but not too sweet, the flavors went together very well, and I highly enjoyed the light, creamy frosting! I took off a star as I just wished the staff member inspired a little more confidence during the ordering process and the cake catalog pages were sticky. But Coldstone did a great job, and although it was a bit pricey, I would feel comfortable ordering another ice cream cake from them! read more

The employees didn't care and did not offer any kind of compensation for their mess-up. I'm still disgusted from my visit on 1/11/22 at 3:05pm. I used to love Cold Stone but it has been ruined for me. There was a young guy making my ice cream. He had alot of blood inside his glove. My wife pointed it out to him and he proceeded to keep his glove on and quickly rinse his gloved hand in the sink and continue to handle and mix my ice cream!!!!!!! So disgusting. He expected us to pay for that?! When we told the 2 girls working with him he ran to the back. They offered to remake my ice cream which they did and I felt pressured to pay for but I could not eat it I feel so thoroughly disgusted from seeing a food preparer have that much blood and he did not even bother to take care of it. We've been really impressed with the service here- every single time the people working have been friendly and positive even when we've seen them have difficult customers. (Not us of course!) There's one young woman who makes me laugh because she keeps saying "There's always options!" which it seems is really true there. We have really appreciated the various Groupon deals and coupons in local flyers. We appreciate you can try the different flavors too! My all time favorite Coldstone flavor is Caramel Latte (with mini chocolate chips mixed in) which I haven't found here in the Springs yet but I'll keep watching for it. I also loved the marshmallow! Otherwise I'm a fan of the dark chocolate. You can mix two flavors for the same price as one and choose to mix them or have them side by side. Yes! this is the stop in Colorado Springs (for coldstone). Please, DO NOT go to the cinema point location its a horrid place. Busy place on a summer night. This is normal and worth it. Where I come from Coldstone has a tip jar and any time someone tips the employees sing a song. Sometimes its good fun other times its terrible. When its terrible, its usually at least a good laugh. I understand that school is out for the summer but that doesn't mean you let the line of high schoolers that reaches the door stand there and sample every flavor you have while you have customers waiting to order. Waited for about 30 minutes and the line of high schoolers didnt move, just kept filling in. It's literally putting ice cream in a bowl and yet you're standing there allowing taste testing of every item you carry while the line of customers is almost out the door. There were 3 employees and yet they were all waiting on the person in front. Extremely disappointing that we couldn't get ice cream because the store was a hangout for high schoolers tonight.
