    chocolate sprinkle
    Amanda L.

Very good plain glazed donuts. It is very fluffy. I also got the chocolate sprinkle and it was just wayy too sweet for me because it's a glazed with chocolate on top. Surprisingly no line in the morning on a Friday. Service was curt and not very welcoming like other donut places but fast.

First off I'd like to mention that donuts are one of my favorite food groups lol I guess I will be the oddball out here and say that I didn't think these donuts were very good at all. Maybe my expectations were higher based on the reviews. The donuts were fairly small, and on the plus side, they were fresh, but they tasted very cheap to me. They even seemed slightly soggy from the fryer oil. The main thing for me that was an immediate turn off was that the cases were so dirty. I've never seen cases like this in my life in a donut shop. There were so many smears and finger prints all over the windows that it looked like crowds of children with sticky hands came through and all put their hands on the windows. I think a lot of the smears were from inside the case. I tried to look past it, and still order a few donuts. I would have typically walked out but since we made a special drive there I felt obligated to try it. This reason strongly affected my feelings toward the donuts. I don't know if my experience was outside of the norm, and I feel bad to give a lower rating to a local shop. In the other Yelp photos the cases look clean, maybe this was a bad day. We went on a Friday evening at 6-7 PM. Perhaps they had a busy day, but we were the only people in the shop at this time. I live in an area with alot of good donut shops, this was just okay. The frosting on the Cookie Monster tasted like generic canned frosting. I didn't like the bacon donut at all. The blueberry cake was okay but I've had much better blueberry cake donuts. The cookies n cream was just okay but a little soggy. We didn't finish the donuts after trying them and wouldn't be going back.

    Metal debris in a donut
    Joseph G.

Absolutely Horrible Experience - Found Metal in My Donut! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I went to Amy's Donuts last night and bought six donuts. When I got home and took a bite, I was shocked to find a piece of rusted metal inside my donut. Disgusted and concerned for my safety, I immediately went back to the store to let them know. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the guy behind the counter was completely rude and dismissive. He straight-up told me, "It's not my problem" and even had the audacity to call me a liar, saying, "I wasn't there when you bit the donut, so it's not my problem." That level of customer service is absolutely unacceptable, especially when there's a serious health hazard involved! I asked for the manager's number, left a message, and got no response. The next day, since no one bothered to call me back, I went in again and asked them to call the manager directly. The manager was finally reached and was at least polite, and I did get a refund. But at that point, the damage was done. Finding metal in food is dangerous and disgusting, and the way this situation was handled makes it clear that they do NOT care about their customers. I will never be going back to either of their locations--I wouldn't trust them with my safety, and you shouldn't either. Go somewhere else.

Dead bugs by your donuts. Hard pass.

Do better, there is zero excuse for dead bugs and garbage in the customer facing cases with your donuts..... that you're selling.

We sat down and waited at least 15 mins before a server acknowledged our presence. Then another few mins until he took our mimosa orders, then another 10 or more until they arrived. Waaaayyy too long for initial drinks at ANY restaurant! We ordered food as soon as our drinks hit the table (~30 mins after being seated), and enjoyed out drinks for quite some time until realizing it was AFTER 12pm and no sight of our food or waiter and the place was about half empty at that point. A manager finally came by to apologize for the delay, but didn't offer to comp our drinks or food or anything! Another 10mins or so later and we finally got our food. The Smoked Salmon Benedict was very very smoky flavored and I even ordered the salmon separate by from the actual benedict part of the dish as a precaution, but the smoke flavor overtook the entire dish. For $19, it had no hash browns included, and I wasn't paying $6 more for fried potato strings. My daughter had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and both were absolutely phenomenal! The pumpkin bread French toast was just pumpkin bread with whipped cream and caramel drizzle, not real French toast with pumpkin spun into it. Not impressive. Overall, the staff was very nice and the dining areas super cute, but the prices and wait time and lack of management correction make this a place I likely won't be trying again anytime soon.

Coming from SoCal, we have a lot of really good donut shops, so I'll admit... I'm a bit of a donut snob lol. I can definitely tell when oil is old, donuts aren't fresh, or when the texture of raised and cake donuts is off. Everything here was seriously so good. I got the breakfast flight, and it was AMAZING. The banana coffee was delicious, and I honestly didn't expect to love the everything bagel donut as much as I did! I also tried a few other donuts, and the lavender donut was the bomb.com -- perfectly balanced floral and sweet without being overpowering. The pretzel chocolate donut was incredible too. Not only was the food amazing, but the shop itself is so cute and has such a welcoming vibe. You can really tell how much love and care goes into everything. This adorable little couple-run donut shop is absolutely worth all the Instagram hype. I almost fan-girled and told them I'd been following them forever on IG lol, but didn't want to come off weird I'll probably be making another stop there on Wednesday before heading back to SoCal!

So the machine needs to be updated, luckily they had a menu but I didn't see donut options other than mochinut. So we ordered 3 for 10 dollars which a better deal would've been 4 for 10. The mochinut is designed to not have a center so there isn't much to eat. The chocolate flavor leaves a funky taste in ur mouth for a while, the strawberry taste isn't very strong so the flavor is drowned out by the dough. I did like the churro flavor but even that had kind of a dull taste. but the dough is nice and soft which is nice. The dough was very consistent in all 3. but I would say the name of the store could be worded differently because it will throw u off. Lastly, we each tried the mochi donuts: blueberry (9/10) & white chocolate (8/10). The donuts would have ranked higher had they been served hot. Worth a mention is that prices weren't posted on the menu board for beverages. Cost for two people: $33.20 plus $2.73 tax= $35.93.
