This franchise/branch of the ice cream chain was nearby to where we had had dinner. We walked over to browse the gelato/ice cream case. There are no seats inside, so we found a seat at an outside table. I wound up getting a kiddie cup (one scoop) of the dulce de leche. It was quite soft. My husband got a small cup (2 scoops) with one scoop of sweet cream and one of coffee. It was a nice bit of a sweet ending and allowed us to continue our conversation with our dinner companions. It's not the best ice cream (or gelato) you'll ever have, but it was decent. And it was convenient. And offered no surprises -- good or bad. read more

Usually it's busy in the evening and the weekends when I have gone. The line moves quick enough though. Basically you choose your base flavor for your ice cream, they place the scooped ice cream on a frozen board and start smashing in the items you request in. I usually get the "Birthday Cake". I have also swung in to grab a quick real birthday cake to celebrate birthdays. They will write on the cake for you. They just have you pay first for the cake prior to writing on it. So disappointed. I ordered a coffee lovers ice cream cake. The way I ordered it was supposed to be coffee ice cream with heath bar, almond slivers and the center with Carmel instead of cake. No Carmel and a few nuts. $72 for an overpriced ice cream cake with no fillings. Furthermore, I specifically told the owner that previously we loved this ice cream with tons of things in it but the last time we ordered it it didn't have much in it so make sure that this special birthday cake was loaded with the add ins. Stopped in here tonight with 27 dads & daughters from the Mohawk Tribe. No reservation, we just showed up. There were two employees that handled our flash mob with grace. My two daughters ordered small cups and I had a smoothie. Located in a popular plaza with all sorts of restaurants. We were able to sit our large group at the tables outside that are actually for the patrons of Hurricane Wings & Grill.... since I ate their earlier, they let my group sit at their outdoor seats. The kids enjoyed their ice cream that was infused with all sorts of candy and such. Seating inside is limited and they do have a few small tables outside. Service was fine. Ice cream okay. BUT - one of my kids has a tree nut allergy. First, the employees didn't know the difference between tree nuts and peanuts. Second, they couldn't tell me which ice cream flavors had tree nuts. They didn't even know how to find the information. It is 2023. Get with the times. Last week I called around to a few Cold Stone's to get a custom cake made for my wife's birthday and was told they need a week's notice . I decided to try one more and called the Cold Stone Creamery in Coral Springs . Miryam answered the phone and told me that she could have the cake made for me for pick up the next day which was perfect . She followed to let me know the progress as she was personally making the cake . Chocolate Ganache with sweet cream ice cream and cookie dough and chocolate shavings . Lastly she stayed until I picked up the cake so she could meet me in person. Thank you Miryam for making my wife's birthday that much more special . And yes you were right going with the large cake . I placed an online order on September 29 for an "ours " sized container of chocolate ice cream with 4 servings of chocolate shavings mixed in. What I received was a disappointment. Whomever made this to go order did not take the time to mix in my topping. Instead, theyfilled the bottom of the container with chocolate shavings and scooped (less than a quart) of chocolate ice cream on top. This is a store that I go to regularly and an very disappointed that an employee would do something like that. If you are unhappy with your job and refuse to do it to the best of your ability, then leave. And if that's the best of your ability then you need to find another job!!! read more

This place is so miserly with the fudge. I could barely taste it so I asked for more. They said with a "like it" you only get a "figure 8" amount and that's it. Are you kidding me? A little string of fudge? In other locations you actually get a scoop of fudge! At Kilwins the ice cream swims in the fudge! This place is a rip off! Because of this lack of fudge I did not enjoy my ice cream. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the strong scent of freshly sprayed insecticide when we walked in. Yuck! The floor is so sticky that it was making noises whenever someone took a step. I found an almond and chocolate chips in my ice cream when my only mix-in was yellow cake.
