Sloan's Ice Cream at Mizner Park is extra in the best way. Is it cheap? Nope--about $8 a cone--but this is luxury ice cream, not the freezer aisle. Decadent, insanely delicious, and loaded with tons of flavors that make choosing a real struggle. The place is also adorable, with gorgeous flowers and plenty of impulse-buy goodies like stuffed animals and fun trinkets. Grab a cone, embrace the splurge, and take a stroll around Mizner Park feeling like you just treated yourself properly. Zero regrets. Why not? You only live once!

What a disappointment. I stopped in after dinner for a sweet treat. I was shocked that a kids cup, one scoop, was almost $11. The quality and taste was nothing special and it was grossly overpriced. I got ice cream at another place and it was $10 for two large cups. I thought at the time that was expensive but I was very wrong. I will absolutely not be back. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Sloan's has always been THAT gurl. Yes, they are PRICEY, but I think it's worth it! A few bucks more than carvel or Dairy Queen and you get QUALITY and ambiance. It's The cutest ice cream/candy shop there ever was with the most DELICIOUS flavors that are packed full of goodness. They put REAL cake in their cake batter and like 3 diff kinds. I haven't been able to enjoy it recently since becoming lactose intolerant- BUT!! They have a GREAT NON DAIRY flavor now!!! And let's talk about their new donut bombs??? OMG!!! I went twice in a week for them. They are GOOOOD. Highly recommend the Nutella one with DAIRY FREE CHOCOLATE PB!! I believe they have diff dairy free flavors at each Sloan's, because the one in delray had something else!

Been here to Sloan's once before for ice cream and stopped in with my puppy for the complimentary Pup Cup of heavy whip cream and he loved it. The employee had us try the new ice cream called Pralines and Cream which was sweet rich tasting. Always love the dramatic colors on the walls and to browse the stuffed animals and toys. Definitely a dog friendly shop.

Ironically gift wrapped, expensive unwanted snakes

Here's my Karen review: I'm not at all a person that typically complains, but I am really upset after coming in tonight. I was in your Mizner Park store in Boca Raton, waiting to pay. My son and I were waiting to pay for a toy and a coaster. We stood by the register for so long, it must have been at least 10-15 minutes. People came in and kept walking in front of us, and it was extremely unclear to know where to stand in line to pay. I couldn't figure out who to talk to, and no one acknowledged us. My 4 year old son was getting antsy and I was trying my best to keep him near me while also waiting in the apparently nonexistent line, and then he knocked in to a rack of stuffy snakes, which knocked over some glass bottles of soda in a display. Thankfully, a patron grabbed my son and ensured that he didn't get cut, and all a sudden, there were 4-5 employees there to clean up. The girl at the register finally acknowledged us just in time to tell me that we owed $51 for the three snakes. I know my son was being a little wild and I'm so embarrassed that he wasn't by my side the whole time, but it was a total mess in there and it was really kind of crappy that we were ignored for so long, and ended up with three (gift wrapped) snakes we never wanted.

What a yummy after-dinner stop before heading home from Mizner Park in Boca Raton. The ice cream was delicious and the interior ambiance was just magical. Toys and colorful colors as well as the sweets engaged one's senses like no other venue can; except maybe Disneyworld lol. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice overall experience.

Dirty and sticky! And not from my visit!
Patty K.

Disgustingly dirty--shameful for the prices they charge. Sloan's in Mizner Park should be embarrassed. For what they charge, someone should be out there cleaning every 10 to 20 minutes. The tables? Sticky. The chairs? Sticky. The floor? Sticky. Even the outside is sticky. It's like they've given up on hygiene entirely. Laughing it off as part of the "charm" is unacceptable. Clean your store and respect your customers--and your product--by doing better.

Absolutely loved this place! The decor was fun and colorful. The staff was really nice and the ice cream was incredible! Will definitely be back if I'm in the area!

This place is amazing. Always great selection of ice creams, nice toppings and friendly employees. I also love the fact they have restrooms to wash hands and outside seating. Beautiful location in Mizner Park. The only thing I didn't like is these gloves (in photo)... not appropriate for little kids to see and read. So 2 stars off for that. Shame really!

This is such a cute street with tons of restaurants and shops. We went for the free concert by the amphitheater and the Christmas tree lights and it was so nice to take pictures and bring the whole family!

A must if you're in Mizner with a sweet tooth! I left dinner with a friend and passed by thinking I needed a sweet treat.. perfect spot to grab a cup of ice cream and they have tables outside to enjoy it! So YUM!

Very cool little ice cream store with crazy fresh vibrant decor...Vast ice cream flavors and unique toys on the shelves. Im leaning toward that this store is more kid friendly than adult, but there was an Adults Only toy section. Very friendly outgoing staff.

Homemade ice cream, while it was expensive (a single, medium or big bowl) - but you can get a deal if you're willing to share the sundae (3 big scoops of different ice cream + toppings), or go the giant kitchen sink (21 scoops?). I don't know how you eat that fast enough... Happy to give you samples which was great. Lots of toys in the store, too. Dog lovers - the faux cat is locked up!

The shop itself is beautiful inside -- there's fun ice cream wall art, shelves with adorable handmade plush toys, and everything feels bright and creative. Their popsicles come in so many flavors, including lactose-free options, and each one is decorated so beautifully it feels like edible art. They even have pops for dogs, which is such a cute touch. Recently they added another display with handmade chocolates and beautifully painted sweets, which makes the place feel even more special. They also serve coffee, and I really appreciate the little thoughtful details -- like the large glass water dispenser where you can help yourself to water after ice cream, with cups and napkins always ready. There's also a restroom to wash hands, which is so convenient when visiting with kids. Such a charming little place with so much attention to detail. The place is bright, airy, spotless, and instantly puts you in a better mood, which is dangerous when ice cream decisions need to be made responsibly. Now let's talk about the service. Second to none. Olympic-level. Borderline aggressive generosity. The guy helping us (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, Ice Cream Sensei ) kept offering samples like he was personally offended by the idea that I hadn't tried every flavor yet. I'm pretty sure I consumed the equivalent of a medium cup in samples alone, and he was still like, "You sure? One more?" And here's the thing. The recommendations were spot on. You can tell this dude is genuinely passionate about the in-house made ice cream. These flavors are thoughtfully crafted, smooth, balanced, and most importantly, no weird artificial colors or chemical nonsense. If the ice cream world had a clean ingredients hall of fame, this place would have its own wing. After tasting my way through half the menu, I completely understand why this is the top-rated ice cream shop in Florida and somehow also gunning for the top spot in the entire country. Ambitious? Yes. Earned? Also yes. Do yourself a favor. Go chill at Let's Chill, eat irresponsibly, and then rate them high because they deserve it, and because you'll feel guilty if you don't after all those samples.

But... Nothing here jumped out at us... * The lavender honey made Spensyr smile but neither flavor was very pronounced. * The guava was good but again, very light on the guava flavor and none of the sweet funkiness you expect with guava. * The lime basil sorbet was full of lime, but neither of us could detect an odor or taste of basil. * The caramel crunch was fine. Maybe there aren't a lot of ice cream shops in Coral Springs and so this has become the go-to spot, it's obviously better than supermarket ice cream, but I can't see it as a destination.

Every time I go in there, the place is clean and tidy. No mess, just cleanliness. There are always young people working there. And usually fairly pleasant. Hint: try the plain yogurt. There are two types of people in this world. People who…read moreremember the glory days of self-serve frozen yogurt... and people who have never experienced the power of holding your destiny in a paper cup. Menchie's Frozen Yogurt should be that place. The comeback tour. The DIY dessert lab. The land where you mix, match, and absolutely ruin your self-control by the ounce. And at first glance? It is all there. Grab a cup. Pull your own froyo. Go wild with toppings. Pay by the pound like a dessert outlaw. Concept? Still elite. Still dangerous. Still one of the best ideas the dessert world ever had. Now... execution. Yikes. Let's talk flavors. I went in excited. Sampling like a kid in a candy store. And then... immediate regret. Some of these flavors tasted like they lost a bet. I hit that sample spoon a few times and seriously considered a life reset. Tough scene. I did what any seasoned froyo survivor would do. Audible. Landed on dulce de leche with a little vanilla chocolate swirl to try and balance things out. A veteran move. A necessary move. Then came the toppings. And this is where things got interesting again. Stacked. Loaded. Sneaky elite. And yes... Lorna Doone cookies made an appearance. Who invited grandma's cookie jar to the party? I don't know, but I respect it. That's a power topping. That's championship depth. And then... the texture. Man. This wasn't frozen yogurt. This was yogurt that went through something. It was icy. Overworked. Like the machine just gave up halfway through and said "good luck everybody." Every bite had that crunchy ice situation going on. Not creamy. Not smooth. Just... confused. Final verdict. Three stars strictly off the strength of the concept and the toppings carrying this place like LeBron in Game 7. The yogurt itself? Needs a serious pep talk. I'll be back... but only because I believe in second chances and Lorna Doones.
