    So pissed off
    LaKeisha R.

If it's not clear why I'm i was disappointed, a cone is supposed to Contain the ice cream. This "cone" does not. Again I waited an hour just to go back and ask for a bowl.

Super nice people, great service. Staff has excellent time management skills. It was packed while we were there and we were in and out as if there was no line

Be ready to pay $9 for a plain small scoop. Their ice cream is good, but not $9 good.

Probably a summer job. Crab soup was a 5. Delicious with chuck of crab. Fish Tacos a 5. Big, well seasoned fish with a corn salsa. Could have used more sauce. Crab cake was a 5. We arrived around 6:30 PM and were surprised to see the parking lot pretty empty. We sat at the bar and were greeted quickly by the bartender, who took our drink order. Both of us ordered the Mrs. Maryland Club, which is made with shrimp salad, a crab cake, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The sandwich arrived fairly quickly and looked good, but right away we noticed something seemed different from our last visit. The biggest disappointment was the size of the crab cake and amount of shrimp salad. The last time we were here, the crab cake covered the entire sandwich and shrimp salad was falling off the sandwich. It was one of the reasons we remembered it so fondly. This time, the crab cake was noticeably smaller just a little bigger than a golf ball the shrimp salad was just 7 baby shrimp and the chips I got maybe 12-15 chips and half of them were rubbery, overall the sandwich just didn't seem as substantial as we remembered. The little shrimp salad had good flavor, the bacon was cooked nicely, and everything tasted fresh. It just didn't live up to the memory of our previous visit, not worth $21 for sure. Service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed, and as always, the waterfront location is a nice place to enjoy a meal. Overall, the Mrs. Maryland Club is still a good sandwich, but based on our experience, the portions seem to have gotten a lot smaller. We'll likely return again, but we hope to see the sandwich brought back to the size and quality that made it so memorable the first time.

Every visit here makes me miss when this was an Arby's about 15 years ago…read more How do you have the audacity to close parts of the store for remodeling and then the only things which are different are the awning and the soda machine? There's now only 1 self-serve soda machine instead of 2, which only means that now there's only 1 machine to frustrate you when the sodas are out. The food is atrocious. I don't know how it is that bad so consistently, but every piece of bread of every variety here tastes like stale bread that was frozen and reheated. Prices are crazy, and the app is pretty much useless for any real savings there. Surly employees, and a bathroom that looks like it's not been touched since 2014! Avoid at all costs.

When you park, no matter where you park in this lot, you have to cross through the drive thru lane to get inside the dining room. I know you have to do this at just about any fast food location, but more so at this one. Like they have a cement divider/curb that separates the lane from the rest of the lot and you have to walk through it with the constant flow of vehicles. It is so odd, the inside of this location is well taken care of and newer looking. But it is obviously underused. The staff inside were fast and efficient. My order was correct. And even though they had a constant flow outside, they were fast with the service. I'm liking the turn back to the 80s here with the logo and crowns everywhere for the taking. Even with the newer interior it still feels like the Burger King of old.

My friend came into town to celebrate her birthday, so I suggested we check this out and she was on board. When we arrived, we were impressed with the grounds and the building itself. It's so spacious inside and there were many tables for seating. We made outdoor reservations, and were running late but thankfully, we were able to be seated. The outdoor grounds are beautiful with lots of greenery, fresh herbs, and great places for photo opps. The service, itself, was also exceptional. We met the owner and different staff members who periodically checked on us, offering to take additional care of us if we needed. We ordered flight number 1 which was had sweeter wines. Our favorite was the sangria. It was very smooth, almost buttery, and tasted delicious. I inquired if we could order a bottle, but unfortunately, they do not sell bottles of the sangria. It comes as a mix. We did order glasses of it, so that was fine. They do have food on the menu, but we had eaten before we came, so we didn't order anything to eat. They mentioned everything is made fresh, but their menu was a bit pricey although the glasses of wine were reasonably priced. As we waited for our ride, we went back inside and they had a musician playing live music on the saxophone. I will definitely revisit with my husband soon.

This place is nestled along the quiet waterfront in Deale, Maryland; it is one of those classic Chesapeake Bay gems that manages to balance small-town charm with a lively dockside spirit. You will always find fishermen swapping stories, families gathering after a day on the water, and visitors who came for the sunset and stayed for the crab cakes. The panoramic view of Rockhold Creek is breathtaking. The vibe is relaxed and local in the best possible way: nautical flags, weathered wood, and a bar that feels as though it's been a gathering place for generations. In warm weather, the outdoor deck fills quickly, offering the ultimate place to enjoy a cold beer and a platter of seafood as the sun dips into the bay. It was too cold for us; we hope to make it back here in the spring with warmer weather. The menu at Happy Harbor is rooted in Maryland tradition but isn't afraid to have a little fun. We started with the creamy Maryland crab dip; it is served bubbling hot with toasted baguette slices. It's rich without being cloying, anchored by sweet, fresh lumps of crabmeat that remind you how close you are to the source. Next, we had the steamed blue crabs. Steamed to order, they arrived fragrant, steaming, and perfectly seasoned--the hallmark of a place that knows its craft. My wife went with the grilled rockfish sandwich--local to the Bay and cooked to perfection--which arrived simply dressed with lettuce, tomato, and a smear of house-made tartar sauce on a soft brioche roll. It's the kind of straightforward, fresh preparation that showcases confidence rather than flash. I went with the Captain's Combination Platter, a local favorite, offering a sampler of crispy fried shrimp, oysters, scallops, and a generous portion of hand-cut fries. It's hearty, unpretentious comfort food that's as much about the experience as the flavors. You can pair your meal with a craft beer from a regional brewery or a signature crush cocktail--the orange crush was my choice. As far as the service, Happy Harbor is friendly and efficient, with staff who genuinely seem to enjoy the rhythm of the place. Our server was engaging and quick with recommendations and even quicker with refills, striking just the right note between laid-back and attentive. Happy Harbor isn't chasing trends--it's celebrating tradition. It's a place where the seafood is fresh, the portions generous, and the mood somewhere between a family gathering and a dockside festival. Whether you're a local returning for your favorite crab dip or a traveler discovering the simplicity of a Maryland summer meal by the water, Happy Harbor delivers a quintessential Chesapeake experience.
