They had pretty interesting flavors and combinations which I wanted to try. I had the half of the double cookies n cream and it was good, but portion sizes were a bit small compared to the price.

The milkshake itself was okay. It wasn't very thick and tasted more like chocolate milk. The cookie was a bit stale. The brownie was awesome! Overall the cookie dough bites throught the shake made it a good milkshake. The service takes awhile just based upon popularity if this place. I would expect longer wait times in the summer. The scenery and photo ops in here were great. The milkshake themselves were great for social media. They theme a milkshake to their location which is pretty cool! I don't know how I feel about old bay in my milkshake though...

This place is overwhelming in the best way--busy, lively, and full of choices. It *is* on the pricey side, but you can definitely see why. The staff was very helpful and attentive throughout our visit. We kept it simple and ordered: * A root beer float * Two scoops of ice cream * A classic milkshake Overall, it's definitely an experience worth having.

We went to the Polar Express at the Gaylord so decided to walk to the National Harbor and came across this place. Service : They were friendly and nice despite it being a busy Saturday night. As soon as the crowd died down they went straight to cleaning the tables and emptying the trash cans. The larger ice cream creations come in a 16 oz mason jar. ($$$) They also have a huge selection of cookie dough that you can sample.

We decided on milkshake after coming out ICE polar express on a nice 60ish degrees weather on a Sunday in Nov. Landed on this place, which I was so glad it was introduced to me .. lol. Decided to share a Cookie Dough Delicious milkshake with my niece. It is that good and it's a milkshake I didn't know I needed. There was little piece of chips at the bottom of the shake.. oohh delicious. I may end up.be coming here everytime I'm in the area and need some dessert! I have yet to try other specialties so I'll leave the extra 1 star for the future. Oh and they will call your number and bring your order to you which I thought was bonus point!

The place was seriously understaffed. I felt bad for the one guy working, he was so nice and working so hard. It's got some tables and seating, like a normal ice cream place. I think I went to the same chain in New Brunswick, NJ. I liked that they added a special milkshake for our e

Loved this milkshake! It was so delicious and appreciated the time the staff took to make it! Wish the price for the milkshake wasn't so much but you do get to keep the souvenir jar. I originally wanted one of their April specials, but they didn't have half the ingredients for it. Lots of seating inside.

Pricing is not transparent. Asked for an explanation and breakdown of the pricing but received multiple different answers. Based on the price, $12.50 (build your own) + $1.00 (milkshake) + $2.00 (jar) = $15.50, not sure how it all came to $17.50. I was asked if I would want something free, gladly declined, as Im not here for free things, just more transparency on pricing. Thanks for the watery milkshake though!

Busy spot with almost an overwhelming selection of flavor combinations. I do appreciate that they have a lot of GF options listed. Ordered a scoop of ice cream with 2 toppings and they managed to forgot both. It was a pretty easy an quick fix at least. The ice cream flavor was good but there were definitely a couple of ice crystals in it.

We were served by Jiuliana. She was kind and thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable! She had a very bubbly personality, and it was such a pleasure working with her. The restaurant was super clean. The vibe was really funky and playful. There was a great selection of ice cream. There were also great size options. Highly recommend.

We came here after seeing Ice and the harbor fireworks since we decided to stay the night in the area. This place looked so exciting like stacked sweets on sweets that were designed to feed the eyes and soul but it's a bit of an illusion. Like the cookies milkshake looked like it was stacked cookie crisps but you only get that if you buy the glass and they basically coat the glass so they can stick the cookie crisps on vs what looked to me initially like a delicious looking chipwich with cookie crisps. That's what my partner ordered and I ended up adding cookie crisps that I added as toppings for my regular milkshake to his to make it better. My milkshake was meh. We've had a lot of milkshakes between the time we used to spend in Baltimore and the spots we have now found for nice thick flavorful milkshakes. I got a strawberry cheesecake one here. It was not thick like when you get killer ice cream base. It was more liquid and smooth with the candy sweetness instead of actual strawberry sweetness. For the wait and the price, I would pass next time.

I've been to Savannah's a couple of times before, and they never disappoint. We were in National Harbor on vacation, and of course--with kids in tow--we had to stop in and let them explore all the gooey goodness. Funny enough, they made a beeline straight for the ice cream instead of the candy... probably because we had already been it It's Sugar earlier that day! They tried a mix of flavors--birthday cake, wildberry sorbet, cookies & cream, butter pecan--and I went with mint chocolate chip. Every single one was delicious! The ice cream was creamy, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. And let me just say--I appreciated the pricing. For the area, it was very reasonable. Not over-the-top expensive like Ben & Jerry's, so that was a win! Now for my part... I couldn't leave without trying a few treats. I grabbed a couple of truffles--raspberry milk chocolate, white chocolate, and a few others--and they were all rich, smooth, and delicious. But BABY... that giant turtle candy?! Whew! It was EVERYTHING. Crispy, fresh pecans, buttery caramel, and perfectly blended milk chocolate--hands down the perfect after-dinner treat. And don't sleep on the caramel popcorn with pecans--sweet, crunchy, and downright addictive! The service was excellent! The young ladies working the counters were patient, helpful, and friendly, which made the whole experience even better! Overall, if you're in the National Harbor area--or anywhere you spot a Savannah's Candy Kitchen--do yourself a favor and stop in. You are absolutely in for a treat!

Candy apples, pralines, different chocolates, fudge, pop corn, ice cream, novelty sodas, and more. It was sweet tooth heaven!!! I got there when they first opened so no one was there. I said hi, she stared straight into my face then rolled her eyes so I said hello again. She finally said hi, but it was absolutely forced. Why people who don't like customers work in customer service jobs really gets me. I'm not gonna lie, it made my a$$ itch a little. My excitement turned to, let me just go!!! So I left without purchasing anything. I understand people have bad days but as expensive as everything was a little kindness would have went a long way. I would have gladly spent my money. I'd prefer to just shop online to avoid moody associates next time. If you're in the area you should still stop by because the store is nice. There are many choices. Hopefully you'll have a better experience!!

Ginger at MGM National Harbor…read more I recently stopped by Ginger before a concert at the MGM, and the convenience alone made it an easy choice. Since it was my first visit, I was excited to try something new, and overall, it was a solid pre-show dinner experience. My dining companion and I shared the Ginger Salad, Edamame, and Crab Fried Rice topped with a soft-shell crab. The standouts were definitely the salad and the fried rice. The Ginger Salad was fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorite dishes of the evening, though I do think the portion was a bit small for the price. The Crab Fried Rice was delicious, generously portioned, and easily shareable. The soft-shell crab on top was a nice touch. The edamame, however, missed the mark for me. It was a little overcooked and fairly bland. The menu mentions crispy garlic, but I wish it had been incorporated more as a sauce or seasoning to better distribute the flavor throughout the dish. For drinks, I ordered the Castaway, a refreshing gin cocktail that paired perfectly with dinner. My dining companion enjoyed a glass of wine followed by a skinny margarita. Both were well-made and helped kick off our concert night. Service was good overall, and our server was friendly, but we did have to ask for a few items multiple times, including a straw and the edamame. Nothing major, but it did stand out. The restaurant itself is spacious with attractive décor and beautiful views of the promenade. It's a versatile space that would work well for both date nights and larger group dinners. My only disappointment is that there isn't any bar seating, which would have been nice for those looking to grab a quick bite or drink before a show. One thing I'd love to see added is sushi. It feels like a natural fit for the menu and would give guests even more options. The prices are definitely on the steep side, but that's somewhat expected when dining inside the MGM resort. Overall, Ginger offers a pleasant atmosphere, good cocktails, and a few standout dishes that make it worth considering if you're already heading to MGM for a concert or event.
