The staff was great here. I'm not impressed with their ice cream though. It doesn't seem like it's very high-quality for the price. Not only was it not iced when I got there but once they iced and decorated it it hadn't set. So the frosting was sliding off the top and down the sides. I was running late on time. I had already prepared on getting a different cake for my Fathers birthday later that week and since the cake was good I decided to try again. okay - coldstone is known for having awesome flavors, crazy good combinations, and working toppings into the ice cream by hand. it's awesome! Unfortunately, that's about the only good thing about this coldstone location. When I went to this location, the freezer had broken and they were very limited on their ice cream selection. No big deal - this isn't their fault. The staff is all teenagers and are a bit rude and don't seem to want to be working. The girl at the cashier charged me for the largest size when I had gotten the smallest size and was frustrated when I pointed it out and she had to redo the transaction. This location doesn't have seating areas - street parking is available out front, shared with other businesses in downtown Hudson. It can be difficult finding a spot occasionally, but there's a big public lot/garage nearby and it's a short walk away. it's located on the corner. Luckily Coldstone is a large chain, so you can get awesome ice cream elsewhere, like a local business and don't necessarily have to come to this location. Additionally, I've been to way nicer Coldstone locations with decent staff, AC, and had much better experiences. read more

Okay so there are definitely pros and cons to this location. The cons, I ordered a custom cake from here for my birthday and it was decorated very messy. The dot of the i in birthday and the line across the t were not on the cake, so it looked very unfinished and sloppy. It tasted good tho so I can look past that. I don't really recommend getting a custom cake from here if you care about presentation. As for the pros, I went in to this location last night during a busy period and I was super impressed with the way the staff handled themselves. One girl in particular, I didn't catch her name but she had long brown hair that was really curly, she was keeping everything in order. As too many people began entering the building she asked people to wait outside, and someone entered trying to use their sweatshirt collar as a mask and she asked them to leave per the rules of the most recent mask mandate. I was really impressed because she seemed younger and most people would just let it slide but she really cared about the safety of her coworkers and the customers in the building. I'm not sure why this has such bad reviews... Coldstone is awesome! Yes you do have a wait a little longer but the process takes a little longer to mix the ice cream and the add-ins. It can be a little pricey but you get a lot and it's quality ingredients, so it's totally worth it. I usually get something from the Signature Collection, but you can also make your own, which my dad likes to do. I will definitely continue going to the Hudson location. read more

Cold Stone Creamery is a good place to get your ice cream fix. This particular location is conveniently located in Hudson's First & Main. The store itself is very nice, if not a little too small. There are only three or four tiny tables inside, with about five large tables outside. Cold Stone serves ice cream, cakes, smoothies, and milkshakes. For their ice cream, they've come up with a great concept. For their ice cream, if you wish, they have a variety of mix ins. You can choose from their own "creations" or you can make your own. It is a great concept. This way, you have a great variety of flavors, including creations, to try. The ice cream is very good. The only complaint is it's very rich. I felt full for several hours afterwards, and I can stomach a lot. Overall, Cold Stone is a great place to grab some ice cream. Just be aware that a little goes a long way. read more

I've talked about just writing a crappy review before, but this was the final straw. I arrived here at 9:20, just to see the staff at cold stone rushing to the door to lock it before I could get in. After noticing that I was approaching the door the staff worker tilted his head back in annoyance and acted exasperated. while I was walking in I heard him say to another staff member " oh I was so close". The staff member then went into the back room and was complaining saying that they were closed which in fact they were not for another 5 minutes. This is not the only encounter with disrespect that I have had upon this establishment other times I have dealt with the same thing. I don't appreciate the poor service and feeling very unwelcome every time I have walked in. Staff members then continued to talk about how annoying it was that I was there.
