For the times I have been here, they have always honored my coupon. Employees are helpful in suggesting flavors and what to add. I always get my coffee ice cream combined with cheesecake flavor mixed with nuts or graham crackers. It's good, creamy and rich. During summer time, this place is packed. I had a disappointing experience at this Cold Stone Creamery location. I attempted to pay with a $20 bill that was later confirmed by my bank to be legitimate, but their machine incorrectly flagged it as counterfeit. Instead of handling the situation discreetly, multiple employees and a manager were called over while other customers were present. This made the situation uncomfortable and embarrassing, especially since the manager even acknowledged that the bill appeared to be real. I ended up using a different bill to complete my purchase, and later went back to my bank to confirm that the original bill was valid, which it was. While I understand that businesses need to take precautions, situations like this should be handled with more discretion and professionalism. I did receive an apology, which I appreciate, but no effort was made to compensate for the inconvenience and embarrassment caused. I came in last night towards closing so I can acknowledge that these employees were probably not excited that I came in so late and I saw one of them roll their eyes. But I did come in during business hours so I expect to be served. There were 4 employees present and not a single one acknowledged me or my fiancé. Whatever happened to good customer service and "the customer is always right"??? I have been coming here for years (at least a decade) since our family loves the ice cream cakes. Appreciate the military discount and have never had a problem until today. Ordered the cake a week ago on line and went to pick up the cake in the evening as it was 102 degrees this afternoon and I live an hour away. The cake couldn't be found!! Birthday was the next day and it was already paid for!! I was made to think That I was at the wrong store (impossible since there isn't another one within 100 miles). So disappointed I called my husband who had ordered the cake to see if this was possible since he had placed the order. He sent me a screenshot of the order clearly showing that the cake was to be picked up that day, and that I was at the correct location. Returned to the store determined not to go home empty handed since I had already paid over $60 dollars for the cake and it was too late to get another.
