My husband had actually brought me some a while back and I remember thinking it was just okay, but we figured we'd give it another chance in case the first time was just a miss. This time I got the rocky road and unfortunately, it was probably one of the worst rocky roads I've had. I'm usually not even that picky with ice cream, but there were waaay too many peanuts. It felt like I was eating mostly peanuts with some ice cream mixed in lol. There were barely any marshmallows and the chocolate flavor wasn't as rich as I was expecting. My husband got the strawberry cheesecake. It was good for the first few bites, but after a while it became overly sweet for him. Overall, it was pretty mid for us, especially compared to other ice cream places we've tried. After giving it another chance, I still don't really get the hype or the long lines. You're better off going to Cold Stones.

A glossy wooden tables were very pleasant to eat at with good lighting and a comfortable interior temperature. At $8.25, this feels like a steel. A cup practically had a whole pint of ice cream in it, maybe a pound of goodness. The consistency of this ice cream was lovely - thick and full-bodied, with parts the melted merging with the base of the scoops into a cream mixture rather than the typically runny drip. All around a nice neighborhood spot that will hopefully grow into a local destination gem!

WOW! SOO GOOD! Sometimes a place just gets things right, and this place REALLY GETS IT RIGHT! From the moment you walk in, it feels different than other places. You receive a warm greeting, "Hi, welcome to Menchie's..." with a big, friendly smile that feels authentic, and not just a scripted, corporate opening line. The store smelled amazing, and we shared a delicious, freshly made waffle bowl SO GOOD! The restaurant was already clean, and the two people working were both still cleaning! We've been to other spots and you have to ask for someone to come clean the table and chairs, NOT HERE, they were sparkling! They had 14 total flavors, with five (5) of them being Dairy-free, which is amazing because our son can't have lactose. The two closest froyo spots we've been to just had one & two dairy free options, respectively, Menchie's had FIVE! They had the largest selection of toppings and sauces of ANY frozen dessert place we've been, and it's not even close! SOO many great options to choose from, including chocolate dipped strawberries, my wife had two, YUM! It was about the same cost as the places, and we were even given some coupons for next time, YES PLEASE! Our son had the Dole Pineapple & Fruit Punch swirl which tasted just like a Big Stick popsicle. We had a combination of the Cheesecake, Cake Batter, Ice Cream Sandwich, and the Cinnamon Crumb Cake; WOW, AMAZINGLY GOOD! This was hands down the BEST frozen dessert experience we've ever had, and we're SOO happy we found it! Both the gentleman, and the young lady came over to ask how everything was, and even gave our son a sticker which he hasn't stopped talking about! We found out about the froyo cakes they make fresh in store by the gentleman when he came by. He must have been the GM or owner, because he had the best customer service skills and friendly demeanor by anyone we've encountered in a long time! We're telling ALL our family and friends about this spot. Kudos to Menchie's, we're coming back again this weekend! read more

WOWZERS! This is a one stop shop for all our dessert needs now! We initially came in to purchase a birthday cake for our son. We had tried some at one of his friends birthdays and he said, "Mom, we HAVE to get my cake from Menchie's, it's the best"! I usually don't get to enjoy ice cream or yogurt due to the lactose. However, we were blown away to find out they had FIVE, Dairy-free (and Vegan) flavors to choose from! My favorites were the Dole Whip Pineapple Sorbet & the Fudgy Chocolate; they were amazing! They also had four, No-Sugar Added flavors for my husband to enjoy. The place itself was sparkling clean, always a staff member wiping down and cleaning the tables, chairs and counters. The bathroom looked like it had just been cleaned top to bottom despite it being pretty busy and the only bathroom to use. Very reasonably priced, we spent as much as the other places, but the quality here was far superior! You could really taste the difference. The topping selection was on a different level. They must have had over 50 toppings of fresh fruit, candies, nuts, sauces, etc. The cake(s) themselves were a huge hit, and our son assured us this is the ONLY place for cakes in the future! This is our new go-to spot for all our sweet tooth needs! read more

We've been to EVERY SINGLE dessert store in the AV (my wife and kids all have that huge sweet tooth)! This Menchie's is hands down the only place for us now. The quality of the yogurt is better than any other yogurt shops. Their selection of toppings and sauces is WAY BETTER than any other place we've visited (much larger and better than other Menchie's stores in the valley too)! The last several times we've gone in, they've had 3-4 Dairy Free options, which is fantastic because our son can't have lactose! The other chains had one flavor and NONE, respectively the last time we visited them (suffice it to say, we will NOT be returning to the other spots)! We've also now bought 3 cakes for birthdays and holidays here. The unicorn cake they made for our daughters birthday was the best thing we'd ever seen, and it tasted even better! The staff is always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. You can tell that the owner takes great pride and passion in his business! It's always ridiculously clean, even when it's super busy and kids are making a mess! They have a nice selection of juices, Gatorade, water and other drinks. I recently embarked on a frosty escapade into the world of frozen yogurt, and boy, was it an adventure for my taste buds! This icy delight not only thawed my heart but also made my taste buds twirl in joy. I dove into the chocolate fudge frozen yogurt, and it was like a cocoa symphony in my mouth - rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I try to spread positivity and I'm hesitant to be negative on a first go-around with any small business. I was at this Menchie's about a 1.5 years ago, and it missed. I can't totally explain it, but it just wasn't that good, and I didn't feel like I got my money's worth for whatever reason. I went back out there recently to visit a client and I stopped in. I could immediately notice a difference. It had a positive vibe, it was clean, everything tasted great, and the workers all seemed to be having fun. I commented that I had a very different experience last time and I'm glad for them. That's when the NEW OWNER introduced himself to me and thanked me for the feedback and told me he was glad to see his hard work starting to pay off. What a difference an owner can make. Hat's off, good work, and keep it up. I wish you much success which will come undoubtedly. read more

We used to go to Berry Star down the street, then when it closed, we started going to Yogurtland, until a friend recommended Menchie's. This place is absolutely incredible! The yogurt tastes so much better than any of the other places, way more and better quality selection of toppings and sauces and we paid the same as the other places. This is the first store we've been to that the fruit is actually fresh and tastes really good! The employees are friendly and helpful with assisting us with any questions. The best part is, there's finally a frozen yogurt store that has more than 1 Dairy free flavor! They had FOUR when we went in a couple days ago; It's AWESOME!! This place is the BEST! We used to go to a place closer to our house, but after giving it another try 6 months ago (we had a bad experience a little over a year ago); the extra time in the car is well worth it! They always have a great selection of delicious flavors, more toppings than ANYONE else, it's always clean and their frozen yogurt cakes are incredible (way better than ice cream cakes)! I won't be coming back, but that's only because I'm moving from the area. Otherwise, I have enjoyed coming to this location on a semi-regular basis and have always had a good all around experience. The staff has never given me any problems, and Eric, the manager, is very personable with all customers. Stopped in while shopping and LOVED it! First, my yogurt creation was delicious. My friend and I chose completely different toppings and both were great. I especially liked that I could put fresh fruit rather than frozen, syrupy fruit on my yogurt. Way less sugar! Second, it was super clean which I truly appreciate. I really love going to this menchies. The workers are very sweet, even though we aren't allowed samples anymore, they kindly let me use another cup if I didn't like the flavor! Eric is the definition of customer service! Going into a self served place and having to have someone else make your cup, all while communicating through a mask is very difficult and annoying honestly. However, Eric made the process so easy. I called when the manager Cathy was there, she told me they don't give refunds, all that she can do was give us a different cake but had to take the cake (with hairs) back to the store. The cake was tossed as soon as we found the hairs. Haven't gotten a call back. It was really embarrassing that my guest found hairs, and that the birthday girl had to throw away her slice.
