We ended up getting 12 of the paletas, so that we could try a lot of different flavors, and scoops of ice cream. And let me tell you we could not decide on a favorite because we loved them all! Bad customer service. Ever since it came under new management service is bad. They had a a lot of new food but if the service is bad it makes us customers not even want to try their new menu. I suggest workers have a friendlier attitude towards customers. Communication is the key to everything. This review is based off of three visits to this location. I've tried giving it a chance. After visiting this location I made a realization.... The other la Michoacana in Lancaster has better service and isn't as expensive as this location. Prices are overpriced at this location versus the others!!! Additionally, You will wait in a long line and only when it's really bad the supervisor will come out and help. I also don't trust the cleanliness of this establishment. I love coming to La Michoacana I feel like I'm in Mexico whenever I come in. The paletas are great I always get the paleta de jamaica and it is so thirst quenching! I usually enjoy coming here! Not today! It seemed the employee helping us was not in the mood to make anything. We asked for esquites and the person helping us said they didn't have any. The person behind us asked for the same thing and another employee said "they will be ready in a few minutes ". I asked for a different item. The employee helping us just stared and said there's no plates. Another employee told him "go grab them from the back " . His facial expression was unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, the food here is usually good. What isn't good is the service. There was one girl, I think she only spoke Spanish, who was very nice. Fairly new, probably won't be coming back. Service was terrible, it seemed like the girl just wanted to take our order and get us out. It was our first time, and we were not familiar with the menu. Honestly. From all of the ones of the same kind that are around the Antelope Valley (Lancaster/Palmdale) this is my favorite one. The customer service is ALWAYS on point! The staff is very nice and the one time I sat there to eat my stuff they came by my table asking How everything was and if I needed anything they even handed me some napkins! I've been to Top tier restaurants and have had better service here where I'll spend at most 20 bucks compared to when I spend over 200+ on dinner. Honestly they have such a great team there's especially one young man who is so sweet and friendly. I'm here a few times a month and there's usually just one employee working. It's really upsetting that a place with so much business during the day only has one person working but has like 3 workers in the evening. Every time I'm here it's pretty busy for just one person to handle. Despite a line forming Rebekah (who is the one I usually see) always keeps a good attitude and keeps her great customer service. Was just there for their grand opening and was disappointed. We ordered two of their mangoladas and the girl had the two cups prepped with the sauce only to say they didn't have anymore mango ice cream. The mango ice cream is what makes this dessert. We only ended up walking out with one mangolada and it had pineapple ice cream instead.
