I ordered the #8 "in a tub." After paying, I checked my bag and realized there were no utensils. When I asked for a fork, I was told they had run out and someone had to go to the back to get one, which added to the wait. While my order was being made, I also asked for honey mustard. Same situation they were out up front and had to go to the back again, so more waiting. That said, the food itself was really good and fresh, and the employees were genuinely nice the entire time. It just seemed like they might have been new or still getting into their rhythm. Would I go back? Yes, probably. Despite the delays, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff made it a positive experience overall. I'd recommend it. Just be prepared for a possible wait during busy times.

I said I don't have the receipt but the girl last night found my order and was very aware of it. She began to yell at me telling me that I was raising my voice and that I was not respecting her. Like I said it was not her fault but the answer that she gave me that she needed me to bring the ribs back so that they could see them when I clearly sent a photo showing them. I told her I was not going to return the ribs so that she can resell them to someone else. At this point, I don't trust them. Where does customer service come first at this restaurant. All I wanted was them to give me credit for future ribs, but even if I had accepted that which they were not willing to do, unless I showed them a receipt and brought the ribs back. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base.
