This place is dirty and needs a visit from the health department. The windows, floors, dust everywhere this place you can tell is not clean up on a regular bases. They don't have the correct cups so your ice cream is short changed they missed putting in half of the ingredients in the ice cream. First time to this location, they had 6 staff members but only one was helping customers in store. There was a moderate line, but the overall focus was customers coming to pick up or orders online. My Worst experience ever with Alex the so called manager!! I went in for an order and he told me I had to order online with grub hub so I did so. I called him after waiting 1-1.5 hours for my order and he said I would have to contact grub hub!!! Worst customer service ever!!! Was there at 5pm today 3/20/19 The person that made our ice cream had curly hair / male did not even mix any of the toppings in it just threw the toppings on top of the ice cream and called it a day . We even told him we wanted it mixed well. And that is not what we got three orders done wrong by him. As you can see the banana was cut in three big pieces . I love CSC ice cream, however this visit was a little disappointing. The employee wore gloves to make my food, but also wore the same gloves to handle money, touch her mask, and then the food again. That defeats the purpose. Also, they ask you to sign the receipt still, using the same pen as everyone else. Don't ask us to sign unless you are going to sanitize the pen after each customer. That seems like common sense. Also, it's so frustrating to pay the higher price for a larger size only to see a tiny scoop at the bottom of the big bowl. Cold Stone is not a desirable place to get a treat. The outside is filthy, the inside of the building is dark and dreary, as if 1/2 the lights aren't even turned on, and there were several homeless people right near the entrance. When I reluctantly went in anyway, I didn't have my mask on, because the CDC and the Governor said it is OK not to wear one if your fully vaccinated. They said they wouldn't serve us until we had a mask on. I guess we should have had a mask on, not because they asked us to, but because it was so filthy and disgusting in the store it would prevent us from getting a disease in there. Went in to get my usual. Thumping grinding "music" playing obnoxiously loud. Three behind the counter...one working a large group. The others went into the back area and did not return. Female employee went to the doorway and told them to come out and serve me. They didn't. I waited a few minutes then walked out. This cold stone is always my go to location but recently they hired someone new (Ron) and every time I get him my cups especially the child's size cup are not even close to being filled. For the child's size cup he uses a tiny scoop and does 2 of them and the cup is half empty you can see the bottom of the cup all the way around it. I am a faithful cold stone customer (come at least once a week) and this experience is leading me to no longer go to cold stone for a while!!! Please train him again! She explained how the business ran and was so friendly, happy, and helpful to each of the students and even assisted them in making their own ice cream sandwich or cup of specially made ice cream. On a Saturday evening I took my teenage son in to get ice cream understanding because of covid-19 we had to wait outside not an issue my issue is the owner allows their employees to wear black live matter shirts to work without a care about anybody else's life just because we are not black Our Lives matter as well. For what you pay, which in this case was over $5 per cup for a medium, you might think you'd get a lot of ice cream or at least decent service. We brought our two kids who were understandably excited about a place where there are so many choices. They knew right away what they wanted. The guy with the messy ponytail super high on his head was irritated from the onset. I really wish they wouldn't say "Welcome to Coldstone" because I certainly feel anything but welcome by the destain filled attitudes. He greeted us and I told him first what the kids wanted. Rather than small, medium, and large, the sizes have clever names: like it, love it, gotta have it. We attempted to order 3 smalls and 1 medium. We ended up with 4 mediums, which was a blessing in disguise as none of the cups were full. In fact to even finish one of the kids cups, he actually went back for more ice cream and still didn't have a full cup. The quality is the same as ever. The problem here may just be staff. One of the kids only got one of the two mix-ins we ordered. Everyone just kind of wondered where the substance was. Our money would have been better spent almost anywhere else. Worst of all, we still tipped because the staff singing for their tips is one of the kids favorite parts; not only did they not sing they couldn't even be bothered to say thanks. This is our go to place for ice cream. We especially look forward to the employee Alex ( I believe) who always takes great care of us, has a great attitude and we always share a few laughs with! We love the ice cream mixes. Your own mix of rocky road and banana Carmel and nuts just to name a few. The combinations are endless. We try to go weekly for our favorite treat and always hope to see our favorite employee Alex, although we have never had a bad experience with any employee. On top of bad customer service areas were not clean and my ice cream that was supposed to be just kit kats and vanilla ice cream had peanut butter, strawberries and blueberries. I want to start off by saying the employees working are very well trained and very good customer service-wise. I enjoy their energy and how kind they are to customers, my review or rather... complaint.. isn't with the employees, it is with the management. I just went in there on Sunday and there were only 3... yes.. 3 people working!! There was a line to the door and they had no help. They were still in good spirits but you could tell that they were stressed, I felt so sorry for them. I'm not sure who does he scheduling or staffing but whoever it is does a horrible job. Come on, it's the weekend and only 3 employees working? The other Cold Stones have at least 4 employees working which is more reasonable. My party was taken care of by young man Alejandro. He is extremely fast and was outstanding on costumer service. He is also very funny and that is important, he made my whole family laugh and reconnect witch was a very special moment to me. My ice cream was delicious and just the right desert after dinner.
