I hope things have changed. Went to levittown store about 6-8 years ago. There were literally 100's and 100's of Ants crawling on the counters. The girl behind the counter said she was aware but nothing she cold do about it. Haven't been back. Didn't order. Promise this is not false. Always try to be positive so I know they offer lots of fundraising through their store. They give percentage of sales between certain hours based on you coming in for the fundraiser. That is nice. As a pregnant woman who has her cravings almost every week. I must admit they were NOT fulfilled when I went to this establishment. I used to go to cold stone twice maybe three times a week for the same mine size signature with an additional mix in. Last night this new girl and the older heavy set gentleman solidified me from never visiting. Over charging me stating it's been this way when I have receipts as well as bank statements to prove other wise. Instead of turning to the irate customer I could've been I decided to write a review on my horrible experience there which I see others who have also recently recently experienced!!! This coldstone is my go-to. They have WAY more flavors than the one in Garden City. Cinnamon Cake Batter is amazing! One warning, this place can get packed in the evenings but for good reason. They provide generous portions and fast service. read more

I researched this location before going, to try and get a menu online, and came across multiple negative reviews. One of the reviews stated that the person had ordered a waffle bowl, the worker forgot, and then the worker ended up pouring his ice cream into a waffle bowl. I figured, "okay honest mistake." I later tonight went to Cold Stone at this location. The line was to the door, but moved quickly. My boyfriend ordered one of the cookie dough sundaes on the menu on the wall, using its exact name. The young man working told him, "I have no idea what that is," and proceeded to ask my boyfriend to read off the picture what was in it. I wondered how this man worked here and didn't know what it was, when he see's it on the menu overtime he works, but I moved on. I ordered mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle bowl. First off, this looks NOTHING like the picture on the website. It is just a ball of smushed ice cream. Again, whatever. He charged me for it and it wasn't until I received it that I noticed he did not put it in a waffle bowl, but a regular cold stone cup. First of all, the ice cream was all over the sides of the cup, which I thought he would've at-least wiped off, or gave us napkins. I mentioned that I had ordered the waffle bowl, and watched him, word for word as the other reviewer said, "pour the ice cream out of the cup and into the waffle bowl." Any chance of my ice cream looking good and not completely ruined was definitely over when he transferred the ice cream in front of me. Normally this wouldn't phase me, but seeing it previously reviewed exactly the same in a negative way threw me off. All of the workers behind the counter are young males and females who obviously don't care about their jobs or customers. That girl Katie with the bun and the visor is the greatest ice cream maker I've ever had at a cold stone creamery. She made strong suggestions and was very helpful at the counter! Definitely deserves a manager position! I'll be back for sure!! But only giving a 4 stars cause the door was open and it got chilly but otherwise amazing!!!! read more

I am very angry today. I usually come to coldstone and im very happy with the outcome but lately the service has been terrible. The girls here are very hardworking and the owner and this one man who doesnt even wear a uniform give me and other people horrendous service with a nasty attitude. Had various experiences here but no matter what I love coming here for a treat. Most of the time they mix my concoctions well but one time a guy barely mixed it and left it in big chunks and refused to mix it. Besides that one experience, it's been great so far. read more

Very dirty with incompetent staff. The tables and floor are filthy always. The staff will skip you if they see you speaking with someone that is being helped. The posted prices are not always what is charged. The "stone" is not cleaned after every preparation increasing the chance of allergic reactions to things like nuts and bacteria. The owner lurks over the employees and can make you uncomfortable. I've been there several times because Cold Stone ice cream served correctly is amazing and worth the steep prices for ice cream but every trip had one or all of the complaints I listed above. Check it out for yourself. When you walk in look to the left at the filthy eating area. By the register look through the glass at the dirty and messy prep stone. Lastly look at some of the employees uniform, hair and general demeanor. They are generally sloppy. Lastly the creepy bearded owner lurking over the employees near the register. My husband and I visited the Levittown, NY location 2 weeks ago, on Saturday May 26 at about 9:00 at night. We selected a large round chocolate chipper cake and also ordered 2 shakes and a root beer float. The person who waited on us was friendly, and wrote a special message on the cake, which looked great. The manager then took over the ringing up our order. He placed the drinks in a cup holder which he put on the counter and was about to start ringing up when my husband discreetly said, "look at what's in the cup holder". The manager and I both looked over to see a cockroach moving around in the center part of the cup holder. The manager put the cup holder on the back counter, took the drinks out, tossed the cup holder in the garbage, took out a new cup holder, checked to make sure it was free of roaches, placed our drinks in it, put it back on the counter, said a perfunctory ,"Sorry" and proceeded to ring up our $53 order. He didn't seem sincere or surprised. To see a live cockroach in a brightly lit restaurant was disgusting, but the lack of response by the manager, was, and continues to be, even more shocking. On Sunday, May 27, we went to coldstonecreamery.com and filled in the information requested about the incident. We got a form email response that they had assigned an incident number and advising that they had forwarded our email to the store management team so that they could respond. It has been 2 weeks and we have gotten no response whatsoever. This confirms my belief that the management in this store does not care - either about customers or cockroaches. read more
