Bearscat opted to accept their gift cards, so they wouldn't have to give refunds. So thoughtful! As if that wasn't enough, when the government shutdown was happening, they offered completely free grab & go breakfast bags. If you needed to eat, you could just pick up a pre-made bag. No need to order it, or ask... just pick it up from the designated area - no questions asked. Buying a full dozen? They gave you a token to pass to someone of your choice for redemption of a dozen at no additional cost. Sometimes, I wonder how they stay in business, then I remember that their financial loss is also a financial gain... as it sure makes me keep coming!

When I contacted the manager to ask why it was listed as available if that was not the case I was rudely informed that they are all available 24hrs but obviously that is not the case. I asked why was I not contacted about the change to my order and she said that they don't call people first thing in the morning however, if they knew I had ordered something that they were out of why not make them for the order?

I'll note they are listed as French pastries, this is important, as it sets an expectation comparatively to, say, the local donut shop/ the other "bread (pastry) shop" - &, they are very different styles, indeed.
