A week after I made this review and called corporate, they apologized to me because apparently A LOT of things went wrong with my order: they overcharged my credit card, didn't do the procedure for custom orders correctly, and I wasn't given the toys that came with the cake. The manager there, Kelsey, was great. She explained that everyone was new and they will now use my experience as training for their new hires. They refunded the price I paid for the cake and they were incredibly understanding at why I was upset. Folks, be kind to your food service employees. Post-covid, everyone needs patience and understanding. No voices were raised, no names were called, no unreasonable demands were made during the clearing up of this order faux pas. Came in for a pickup and said hi first thing to the young man standing there, no answer - no smile, I ignored it. I said thank you as I left - again no answer... So I was just barking to myself like an idiot... that's fine I thought, guy must be miserable. But I did not feel welcomed one bit. I get home and this guy completely minced all the brownie mix ins into the ice cream. It was overly done and he barely put any brownie pieces in there, looks like he pounded the hell out of 2 pieces and I ordered the tub size, I can barely even taste brownie and just taste the ice cream flavor. So disappointed with how expensive it is, this is unacceptable, do better. First time at this location. Friendly staff and very helpful. I got an Oreo milk shake, that hit the spot! One concern i saw was the bathroom. There is a sign, which indicate if the bathroom is being occupied or available. However, your responsible to switch the sign. When entering the bathroom, I did not see a lock switch. I was bit confused why the bathroom did have the ability to lock the door. Which worried me about others who may walk in the bathroom and not seeing the sign indicating that someone is inside. Walked in just to buy a box of chocolates they said I had. To wait in a line while Theo there ordered ice cream which they weren't done yet. Literally would've taken 30 seconds to ring me up. Took longer for them to argue with me than it would've been to sell a box. The lady in line felt like it was predictors as well told me I could go in front of her while she was ordering her ice cream. Horrible call on costumer service. Ordered my daughters birthday cake the other day, the online ordering was super fast and easy. The cake was ready just in time and yummy as always, I ordered 24 hours in advance. We come here because they're the only one that has cookie dough ice cream cake in town and it's always made perfectly. We also bought their new Reece's peanut butter ice cream cups, very good although a little sweet to my taste. I've been here a couple times, and I never had a problem until I came in some time last week to pick up a cake & there was two caucasian females working, i waited roughly around 8 minutes and two employees never acknowledge me. More people start to come in and they still hadn't made eye contact with me like if I wasn't there. After awhile they started getting everyone's orders. Eventually I asked them if the cake was ready & they said no, Remind you that the cake was supposed to be ready already. Those two employees need to work on communication with the customers & improve their customer service. Then Jason who later said his name was Jack told us that they were closed basically asking us to leave. We exited at 10:03 pm. As unfortunate as it is, I'd have to say this is the worst cold stones I've been to. I love cold stones but I don't think I'll be returning to this one. Every time I've gone I've been ignored until the last minute (wouldn't hurt to atleast acknowledge a customer even if you are busy) I didn't mind that too much but my main thing is the quality of my ice cream. Flavors are great as always, but the mixing is very very sloppy and inconsistent. I get cake batter ice cream, extra cookie dough, caramel and pecans. The last 4 times I've gone to this coldstones my cookie dough has been in huge chunks, just as big as they were when they started, hardly any pecans..... The above review was an incomplete review from sometime last year.. unfortunately I returned to the cold stone again today out of desperation and my short visit there inclined me to get on yelp and write a review only to find an incomplete review from last time lol absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I actually made an account just for what I saw today. I came in earlier this afternoon and there was a fairly long line, nothing unusual there. After waiting for 10 minutes and barely moving up, i noticed there were only two young men behind the counter working. I wasn't mad at first because they looked like they were doing the best they could being understaffed. Except they weren't understaffed. I kept seeing these girls come out for a few seconds and then go back to the back of the store. At one point one of them came out and made a smoothie then took it to the back. No wonder they were taking so long!! I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes for my ice cream, and the poor guy who rang me up looked so tired. I get that most of your workers are young people/college students, but this just looks like poor management issue. read more

Constantly going to this location where they lock the doors and have the "Closed" sign on the door, far sooner than their listed hours. Service used to be top notch then steadily declined over the years, particularly in 2014. Like I used to genuinely feel like a valued person when I went in. Lmao, their service was just short of telling me they loved me and putting a ring on my finger. Nowadays the servers are apathetic and don't really seem to care about anything. I love coldstones but I think ours is a little smallish. The customer service is usually tops but the place is tiny so if you want to eat your ice cream there you might be waiting around for a table. If you get a table near the line side of the wall its also inconvenient because now you have all these people kind of standing around you while you eat your ice cream. Also because there is usually tons of traffic in and out of that store during warmer weather they tend be be dirtier (i,e, trash on floors, sticky tables) The flavor selection however is always good! OH! Also last time i went i had one of their lava cake ice cream desserts ! It was sooo good!! Warm chocolate cake with ice cream on top, and whip cream. The girl making it forgot the chocolate drizzle which would have made it all the better but it was still really good! If your looking to make your own ice cream fun this is the place for you! Cold stones is delicious at every location I've ever been to. Their flavors are inventive and adventurous. My favorite is the Mud Pie Mojo. It's coffee ice cream with peanut butter, fudge, Oreos, almonds and coffee ice cream, this is absolutely to die for. I get it every time, with the occasion Christmas peppermint flavors. The ice cream is very sweet and the toppings are endlessly, I have always been a fan of the Oreo and cream. The cakes look great and are able to be customized. The cold stones creamery is the best ice cream out here compared to other places.
