The brownies made out of chocolate cake essentially I am eating a chocolate cake when I was looking forward to an actual BROWNIE. I had the worse experience tonight with the employee Justin This was my first time here. We all know during covid how chaotic lines are. I didn't know cookie ice cream didn't come with cookie dough so. As he rings me up I see it does have it on it. As explain I didn't know and ask him to put it in the ice cream he Looks at me with an attitude and doesn't say anything. I'm like can you add it If there is a problem can someone else do it. My ice was packaged very sloppy and he didn't chop up the dough well at all. It's unfortunate the customer service level is bad. We ordered an ice cream cake a day ahead for pick up. We walked in the next day and saw a different cake in the freezer that was more appealing than what we ordered. We asked the guy behind the counter if it was ok to switch it out. There wasn't an issue whatsoever. Super nice! We weren't able to order a customized cake in the first place. On our most recent visit, I had a cheesecake ice cream cone with Heath Bar crumbles. My wife had sugar-free vanilla (their only sugar-free option) with almonds and pineapple. I have frequented this Cold Stone Creamery for years. Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings. Why does the owner refuse to hire more employees to work the counter? The service is needlessly slow and the counter in the back is often filthy, largely because there are only two people working at the busiest times. If I could give this place a negative, I would. I came in about 1 in a half or 2 weeks ago, the line was very long and employees take very long. They don't even care about helping the customers, they go to the front, check the line then immediately go to the back. Not only were they lazy but the manager (I assume it was, he was Indian I believe) was being very rude to the employees and customers. He walked in while I was in the line and Immediately came to the front and believed he did not wash his hands. I got a scoop of strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone and not even midway thru my scoop I feel a hair in my mouth. I will admit that sometimes our own hair can fly into our mouths while we're eating but I pulled the hair out of my mouth and it wasn't even my hair color so I knew it had fallen into the batch from an employee. I'm not writing this review for the ice cream. I'm writing this review for the ice cream cake maker Laura!! She is outstandng!! I called on a Wednesday looking for a star wars cake needing this cake that following Saturday and no place made star wars cake. Not even Cold Stone but Laura was willing to go out of her way to make a special cake for my son and was even willing to help pick up the decor outside of her work! Laura only works Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. She called me on her day off (Thursday) and offered to email me pictures of some star wars ideas! I really appreciate Laura's SUPER customer service!! I met with her Friday afternoon, showed her some ideas and she came through with a FANTASTIC cake!! My son loved it!! I'm not a big fan of the Cold Stone Ice cream.
