This is one of my favorite ice-cream places. I have always liked how they soften the ice-cream before serving it. To day I came for something with chocolate. I don't remember the name but it had chips and brownies inside. I loved it. It was exactly what I imagined it to be. The ice-cream was good as always and I was happy. The service was fast. She was friendly. Those ice-cream cakes looked so good. Funny how I had forgotten that they had cake. I have a birthday celebration for a friend right around the corner. I think I will buy a cake. I had a BOGO offer from Cold Stone Creamery that was going to expire in a few days. After searching on Yelp for the nearest location, I chose the location at Pompano Citi Centre. The store had a variety of soft serve ice cream flavors, toppings, milkshake, smoothie, ice cream cakes, and prepackaged ice cream neatly displayed in cases. There are a few table seating if you want to chill and enjoy your sweet treat. A nice female employee greeted me and applied the BOGO offer to my order of a Like It banana caramel crunch and oreo overload. She mixed both creations exactly how I wanted it. I immediately ate the banana caramel crunch which was creamy and tasty with banana slices, chopped almonds, and a bit of caramel drizzle. I'm going to save the oreo overload for tomorrow. Not sure when I will return to Cold Stone Creamery, but whenever I receive a good offer from them, best believe I will be back. read more

I have visited various locations, and have been to this location several times. The ice cream itself, along with the options are pretty good for a chain. They offer different size options which is nice. The price is decent as well. The store itself is in need of sprucing up. I appreciated the effort in following safety precautions during Covid-19. However, as mentioned before, they are not the friendliest crew, none of the employees were rude to my family, but just seemed to be trudging along. I get it, we are living in a weird time right now, and I still left a tip in the jar, but would have left more if the service warranted it. This location is within Pompano Square, which is undergoing changes. It's worth a visit if you are making a Lowe's run, but I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit this particular location. read more

Came here the night of my birthday 10/19 looking for something sweet to eat my cousin recommended here because for her birthday in August her boyfriend got her a red velvet cake from cold stone . Anybody that knows me knows that I like red velvet cake or trying anything red velvet . So I came in here looking for the cake and it so happened to be an ice cream cake even better at two for one deal cake with ice lol , anyWho I picked up the cake and went to the register I picked up the smallest cake and was like this should do for me and the three kids A small round cake, almost like a personal if you asked me. Here's how it went when the guy ringed it up he said $30 i said no way for such a small cake he said yes so i told him don't worry about it I'm not paying so much for that small cake and he ended up telling me he can make it a ice cream for me and add red velvet to it , I was like ok cool even better so I ordered a pint of red velvet ice cream that i watched him made i paid $16 for it ok that was cool. Now Here is why i give it a 2 start No this was not my first time at a cold stone but this night it was my first time in a long time and i ended up sick on my birthday night the ice cream tore up my stomach i couldn't stop going to the bathroom an throwing up idk what was wrong because it actually tasted good but made me sick thank god i had no plans that night . read more

The kids and wife love ice cream and sweet treats like this. The location is clean and appears well taken care of , hidden slightly from view at side of the the Pompano Mall. Wife and kids got them mix in ice cream treats in the medium sizing. One had lots of berries and cheesecake flavored ice cream. The other had bananas, nuts, and caramel. Two medium portions with waffle cone cost 18 bucks before tip. The both loved their choices. I did find no sugar free ice cream choices. Also found a unique silk milk based flavor. Challenge for those that cannot easily tolerate the treat, they do not offer a fair priced no mix in type small cup for less than 5 bucks. That's a lot for a small ball of ice cream overall. They might be missing out on offering the WHOLE family a delicious experience. I did find a Edible Arrangements next door however. read more

Got here at 9 pm, one whole hour before they close. We were the only customers yet the service was rushed and made us feel that we were an inconvenience. We ordered one "somewhere over the rain-dough" and the girl totally forgot the dough. Seen the sign for the Apple of my Pumpkin Pie & knew I had to try it. It was only one employee there at the time & he was super friendly, helpful, and quick. No other guest was there. As he was making my love it size ice cream another guest came in & another crew member came from the back to help them. I enjoyed the flavor very much! Had a very sad experience today. Ordered written name for my sons birthday on large cake, very disappointing. I could not see it well through plastic covid protection walls, sales person was trying to hurry it in a bag, did not offer to review it, I had to ask. Looked closer upon arrival, only to realize whole top of the cake was kind of scratched off, chocolate ganache looks very bad. Tried to call multiple times to address issue, no one picks up the phone. read more

Went to this location last night. Got there at 9:20pm. They didn't have any waffle cones or bowls. When we asked we were told well we close in like 30 minutes you canhave a cup. I'm sorry, but work ethic tells me that if you close at a certain time you perform whatever service that you offer to a customer until closing time. There were 8 people in line after us. Probably a total of 10 counting us that will never return to this location. Cannot speak first-hand for them, but we definitely won't. read more

I'm not crazy about this location for grabbing an ice cream because there's nothing special about the place, no ambience or atmosphere. We had a coupon and some $ left on a gift card and decided to give it a go. I ordered a scoop of butter pecan (in honor of my dad on Father's Day) and a scoop of mint chocolate chip. My first dislike was she asked if I wanted chocolate chips in my butter pecan also? Ugh no, I think that should have pecans in it, right? The butter pecan was basically flavorless and boring with no pecans. The mint chocolate chip was good. Inside there's 2 small tables which we were lucky enough to grab one. Outside is on the dirty side like the rest of this mall and it was 90+ and steamy so I wasn't sitting out there for anything. I'd have sat in my car before doing that. Great ice cream - rude employees. They close at 10pm, I got there at 9:22pm, as soon as I walked in the door one of the employees said to me we close soon so you better make it quick. I was so disgusted but I still needed to get ice cream for my kids so I still ordered. As she took my order she slammed the ice cream into the containers and got other flavors into my containers, like she was in a complete rush and the store was already closed or something. She did not have any disregard for customer service whatsoever. I wish there was a manager there while I was there but of course there wasn't when I asked for one. But, the lady in front of me that just ordered had a $100 bill and they only accept $20s, so they let her walk out of the building with multiple cups of ice cream. As I get down the line to pay, I was 4¢ short and she said I need complete payment. REALLY?! You just let some woman walk out with over $30 of ice cream and you're pressing me about 4¢. Does anyone read these reviews who sincerely cares about customer feedback about this store? I haven't been to this location in a few years, due to previous issues with lousy customer service. However I decided to try again at 4pm 8/28/17. I ordered what I had always ordered, many many times before. The only staff I saw (my receipt says Christal E) advised me one of my mix-ins was not available. I was surprised and politely commented that I'd had it there many times before. Not only did Miss Christal repeat that it was not available, she saw fit to very flatly add "no, we've never had that". I almost walked out. Did Miss Christal miss the class about not making a customer wrong? Unless Miss Christal has been at that store every day since opening day, she can in no way contradict me and essentially say I'm a liar by saying the store "never had it". Honestly I don't know how this Coldstone stays in business. Last night was just simply the last straw. It was apparent that the employees had wanted to go home (even though it was well before closing time).
