After a hot day at the beach, I decided to stop by Dairy Queen for a cold, sweet treat. It was nice to go through the drive-thru and place my order without getting out of the car. This is the first time I've been to a Dairy Queen with a drive-thru window. The service was extremely quick and accurate. There is outdoor covered seating available so you can walk up and order. I ordered my favorite, which is the vanilla/ chocolate twist soft serve cone covered with chocolate sprinkles. It did not disappoint. It was very tasty and refreshing as usual. This is the first time I have been to this location. Many different items are offered such as smoothies, blizzards, orange Julius, Sundays, hot dogs and pretzel sticks. There's definitely something for everyone. I can't wait to stop by Dairy Queen again soon. read more

After a long day at work, I decided to visit this Dairy Queen location to reward myself with a sweet treat. This place was bustling with people and cars, featuring: outside table seating, a drive-thru, and limited parking. If you don't want to go through the drive-thru, you can place your order at the walk-up window. Frozen treats, drinks, and hot dogs are available at this location. Let me tell you about the worst Chili Cheese dog aftermath i experienced once i ate from this absolute dumpster fire. A worker named Master Robin handed my dog drenched in mayonnaise and gravy after i specifically said i was deadly allergic to mayonnaise. I had to go to the doctor and get my stomach removed. I genuinely can't remember the last time i could use the bathroom as a normal person. Now i have to carry around a wagon with a bag attachment. Don't feel sorry, just do better. read more

A long time favorite that has really dropped off. I give out 2 stars because the staff is always wonderful at this location. If it weren't for that, they'd get 1. Our family has been going here for as long as I can remember. Any time we'd drive anywhere near the Pompano area, or just because we wanted a special treat from them. But over the years the size of the soft serve has become almost non existent! I wish i had a picture of my last serving some time last year. I swear it was about an inch high for a kids cone. All while the price increases! I will include a picture of Mr. Freeze in Toledo, OH where for about $3-4 the soft serve was about 6" high, and that was bc I had to beg her to stop going!! Great service and fair ingredients in blizzard. Unlike the RT 1 location in Fort Lauderdale. They give you half of the ingredients. Friendly and nice. Can't remember the last time I was at a dairy queen... this one is conveniently located on federal highway. You order at the window and choose an outside table. Some are under cover and even out of the sun. They do a big kid's business and lots of tourists stop by. But at lunch, they are even busy with locals. We were there at an off hour so rubbing shoulders with tourists in bathing suits and shorts. Just craving a taste for a dessert snack , I opted for a vanilla soft serve cone dipped in chocolate. I haven't been to all of them, but quite a few on both coasts. This is the best Dairy Queen in the United States.

The best soft serve cones in the area. Some might suggest McDonalds but this appears true ice cream. I'll take mine dipped as do both kids, but momma likes them plain. Whatever happened to sugar cones, luckily these work best with plain cake type cones. This location is just across from where we service our truck. We love to bounce thru the drive-in and there is some outside seating for those wanting the old fashioned experience. Employees are always nice and usually quite accommodating too. read more

Dairy Queen reminds me of the ice cream I got as a child. Beautiful, soft, lickable ice cream. Back then, they called it frozen custard. It's the most vivid food memories that I have. (except maybe my grandmother's spaghetti and meatballs) Dairy Queen has the best soft ice cream in town. Sold by a very friendly staff, you can go in and get it or use the convenient outside window. This location is right on US1 - very busy street. The parking is a bit of a hassle so I tend to use the drive thru. There's only a handful of spots to park which is an inconvenience if you want to get off and order inside. Not a make it or break it issue but definitely something to address. This is a great DQ located on US1 in Pompano. It is a walk up location with several windows available to place your order. They have plenty of tables placed around, all outside, but the area is kept pretty clean. This DQ also offers a drive thru which is great, but can sometimes be a hazard when trying to dodge traffic to get back to your car. Parking and traffic is really the only issue for this location, as parking spots are limited. The employees are friendly, efficient, and serve great ice cream! April 2022, the staff could not be any nicer. Kenton, who waited on us was great. There is plenty of seating outside and they keep the area clean. Every time we drive by at night the place is lit up and crowded. Honestly, looks like a great place to shoot a movie scene. I like this Dairy Queen! Usually when I come here I always receive fast great service. The workers here are very good. Me and my boyfriend come here and get there Oreo Blizzard which is very good. I did notice how they mix the topping, I don't really taste that much Oreo. So last time I told them a certain way to mix my ice cream and they did it and it turn out so delicious. I see a lot of people get there soft serve ice cream cone which looks very good too. I will have to try there other ice creams one day. My advice when having an ice cream cone here is keep an eye on the person filling your order. On two separate occasions I've had the server grip the cone above the paper that's factory installed on the cone to prevent ones fingers from being all over what you inevitably eat. The first time It happened I requested another cone less the contact and was looked at like I had two heads. I understand the servers here are young and don't make much but isn't it elementary you don't touch food with you unwashed, ungloved hands and isn't someone training or supervising? The second time I said nothing and ate just the ice cream above the cone. My dog was pissed because she usually gets the last bite of the cone but instead she wound up treat less.
