The bad: This ice cream is way over hyped and IMO way OVER priced. But, that's just me. Everyone has a different taste, so don't get offended. I do recommend this spot because service is TOP NOTCH! I even gave them a good tip, but for a basic milk shake and a "Like it" size scoop of ice cream is not worth $21.... I could have spend that amount on some really good ice cream at Leatherby's. It's Cold Stone. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. The service was good here. The staff is friendly, and they worked quickly and efficiently. The ice cream is exactly what I've come to know and expect from Cold Stone, granted I hadn't been in years until coming in here. I came in today during my lunch hour, I asked for the regular with one topping of almonds(one topping is included) but, I noticed she put very little almonds so I asked for a little more. She charged me for an extra topping(in hindsight I should have told her the only reason I asked for extra almonds is because she barely put any). We came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon with our boys because we heard this Cold Stone location just opened on Monday and our family loves Cold Stone! They have Signature Creations for ice cream with mixed-ins like candy and fruit, and you can also create your own unique creation. Their sizes are Like It, Love It, and Gotta Have It. They also have shakes, smoothies, and cakes. Immediately upon walking in, we were greeted enthusiastically by the employees and asked if we wanted to sample any of their flavors, which our boys did. But ultimately, our boys decided to get their specTACOlar, which is like the Choco Taco we grew up eating as kids. It's available for a limited time until this Sunday, Cinco de Mayo. It's premade in store with their vanilla ice cream, wrapped in a waffle taco, and coated with chocolate and peanuts. We grabbed the last two but the employee let us know they were making more if we wanted extras. The price was very modest at $6.95 each. And it goes without saying that our boys loved their first Choco Taco experience. The store itself is very clean, with a single stall restroom, and three tables to sit down at and enjoy your ice cream. The service was excellent. Updating review after manager contacted me. He rectified the problem and remade my order to satisfaction. Luckily we live nearby so not much of a hassle. This location just opened and they are still training their new staff. Other reviewers saying their order is not full is 100% correct. Ordered online for triple pint. My daughter also complained that the strawberry was still whole and not mixed in. We usually order at the other location and we've never had an issue. read more

I went to Cold Stone and it wa the best ice cream place I have ever been to. The service was amazing, they were really kind and ALL of the employees had a smile on their faces. And service always checked up on me and saying like, "Do you need a napkin?" or like "Are you alright?" , "Does it taste good?" The food was the best, I got a Choco Taco. Haven't been to cold stone in over a decade. I don't recall them being that great, but I was wrong!! I tried the apple pie and the sweet cream creation one - they were both yummy! Not overly sweet. Don't get me wrong, it was rather chaotic in there tonight and the layout of this store leaves a lot to be desired, as well as seating (inside or outside). However, I am convinced it was either the owner there tonight or a manager that really cared, because when we were ordering he was making certain everything was continuing to run with efficiency and when he saw it was taking awhile for our ice cream, he quickly stopped and checked in and asked if we were being helped, and we explained we were looking up the ingredients for one of their "Signature Creations" that they no longer put on the menu -- he said something to the effect of, whatever it is, we will make it no problem. That left a positive enough impression that I'm putting 5 stars even though a lot about this location could be better. The fact is the ice cream was still delicious. read more

I had a gift card with 5 bucks on it, but they couldn't use it because the numbers were faded off I asked can't you just "swipe" it? They said no. I thought it's cool I really wanted to try the Banana Creation thing so I bought a small two scoop cup..found a hair in my ice cream, this is after two bites went back in the girl who served me was extremely apologetic..but the manager or lead whatever didn't say a word no "apologies" no nothing. The ice cream was really good, no lie about that. I can tell this place will be a great spot for the summer. It might have just been the short little time that I was there, but this place has some of the worst food safety/health violations I have seen. The workers never took any breaks in between orders to wash their hands (even though there are two sinks right there for them). One girl had acrylic nails on which is a food safety violation. The same girl took a restroom break, came back behind the counter, fixed her hair, and proceeded to get back to work. All without washing her hands!!! Do you know how much bacteria we just got served? I won't be returning to this Cold stone until I hear about improvement with these issues.
