Vegan Silk don't cry over spilled milk almond milk ice cream

This was my first time ever at Cold Stone and it was a great experience! Cold stone never appealed to me before I was vegan but the vegan option they added was too good to pass up. I came specifically for the plant based Silk almondmilk ice cream and it did not disappoint. I got their signature order which came with the Silk chocolate almond milk ice cream, bananas, peanut butter, and almonds. I swapped Oreos in place of almonds and truly enjoyed every bite! The workers were also so friendly and helpful in answering my questions. Such a delicious treat!

Cold Stone is my go-to spot whenever I'm craving something sweet and creamy. I love how you can customize your ice cream with all the mix-ins your heart desires--every visit feels like a treat made just for me.

Service is mediocre at best. The food quality was adequate. The young lady Stephanie was a great worker. Truly one of the greatest to ever be in the ice cream serving industry. She was juggling 8 different orders at the same time. I was very impressed. Overall 4/5 experience.

Apple a la cold stone

Cold Stone is very good! I normally dont have a sweet tooth for ice cream, but when I do, their Apple a la Cold Stone signature creation is so good! My boyfriend loves the Peanut Butter Cup one and the Cake Batter Batter Batter signature creation. I love getting my ice cream in a cup just because it doesnt melt all over me, but when I'm really feeling a sweet tooth, I'll get the waffle cone cup! Delicious. I've never had a problem with the service here, and there are normally young adults working here, but all seem to be very nice and helpful. This place is pretty expensive, especially for someone who doesn't really care for ice cream, but the prices are pretty worth it because they add many different toppings into it. For a Like It sig. creation in a waffle cup and a Love It in a waffle cone, our total was $14. Again, not bad, but not the cheapest either. I've had the cupcakes from here which are amazing because they are frozen chocolate molten cups with cake and ice cream inside topped off with icing. There smoothies are also amazing (and normally what I get here)! My favorite flavor being blueberry pineapple.

They really pulled through on this one. Thanks humans!

I AM A FAT LACTOSE INTOLERANT WALRUS. Does this stop me from doing exactly what my stomach hates me to do? HELL NO! Bloat and diarrhea discomfort is worth the ice cream! Body problems aside. Being a walrus it is difficult for me to get around easily. Luckily with modern technology I am able to get what these youngings call "delivery". I did that exactly. Now it is pricey but being a pimp ass walrus I can afford this luxury on occasion. So i did it. They delivered me two milkshakes. I made my own. My walrus breath is rancid so i always go with a mint milkshake. My walrus son got a cheese cake icecream milkshake. I requested some special demands: absolutely no mushrooms (honestly you can NEVER assume your food will not come mushroom free. Walruses dont eat that shit.) I also decided maybe ill be a spontaneous walrus B and ask them to really make my walrus son's milkshake cool. I asked them to fill it to the top and stuff because this kidrus is walsome! And they did. And i am happy. I wish they sent me 4 straws because being a walrus it is difficult to take straw paper off and i always crack them at the bottom which makes suckling the straw difficult especially with my enlarged walrus jowls. Will i return? No, hath not you read my above statements? Walrus =delivery only. Will i order delivery again? WAL-Yes! Do it my fellow walruses you know winter is around the corner you need the blubber.

chocolate devotion, cake batter, sweet cream ice cream cupcakes

Weirdest, most awkward phone convo: Me: "Do you have ice cream cupcakes?" Coldstone guy (sounding half dismissive, half spaced out throughout phone call): "There's not much in there." Me: "What? There's not much ice cream in them?" CS guy: "No, there's not much in the back freezer." Me: "Well, are you selling them or not?" CS guy: "Yes, but quantities are low." Me: "Are they available today?" CS guy: "Yeah, how many do you want? One?" Convo proceeds, yadda, yadda. Apparently, the ice cream cupcakes come in packages of 6 for $9.99. The guy was at least nice enough to put a package on hold for me and left a message to confirm whether I wanted cake batter, sweet cream, chocolate devotion, or a variety pack. These limited edition morsels of goodness were worth the weird phone call and drive to Rosemont! The cupcake "wrapper" is a chocolate shell with a cake layer at the very bottom, and the rest of the edible chocolate cup is filled with ice cream. Cute, tasty, and unique - triple threat!

Hair in their food. Asked for them to mix in the toppings when ordering 2 flavors but it was too much for them.

first noticed the hair in the icecream. After ordering other flavors, i asked for two different kinds and apparently was too hard to mix in the toppings separately and he ended up just sprinkling it on top because its too complicated. Staff does not aim to please.

They have the best ice cream and the flavor is truly amazing. I did like the plain waffle but the idea of waffle bowl is nice. I personally didnt like the flavor of the cone n also it gets soggy after the icre cream. However the icre cream flavors are the best. I took starwberry n coffee n they both were dleicious. Definitely a place to swing back.

Yesterday was the first or second 70 degree day of 2026, so the weather was perfect and the seasonal re-opening of the DQ a mile away was to our advantage because the crowd was a bit quieter here and we were able to find a street spot. I think my daughter was overwhelmed when we walked in; there are lots of choices. She could barely contain herself, but I guess that's to be expected of a two year old. I got her a kiddie scoop of decadent chocolate, which she liked but may have been a bit too chocolatey for her. Or maybe she just wanted to taste a bit of mine and was done with the chocolate. I got a single scoop of the caramel ice cream. I'm not really sure if the sizes were different or if it was the size of the cup because they seemed the same. Both ice creams were so flavorful, really rich. It's a dangerous place to stop that's for sure. But next time I'm getting a scoop of each! As with almost all the South Park businesses, there's no dedicated parking. You'll look for street parking. South Park is across the street so I imagine some days at the wading pool with a stop for ice cream afterward are in our future. There's seating both in and outside; we sat outside and it was really pleasant. They have pre-portioned ice cream in a cooler inside as well as ice cream cakes, and a water dispenser as well. They have a little cart that I've seen at various functions around town as well, if you're out and about and happen upon them. You can also rent the cart for your own event! The staff were helpful, the store was neat and tidy. This is a wonderful small business in Park Ridge and we're so lucky to have them here!

I remember it was a gem and couldn't wait to go to their airport cafe during my layover in Chicago. I walked and walked and walked to reach the Berghoff Cafe. It is located in Terminal 1, Concourse C, near gate 26 and it was TOTALLY WORTH THE WALK! Of course, I had the REUBEN. The fellow sliced up several thick slices of REAL corned beef and put it on homemade rye bread and added sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. He pressed it in a panini press. Then added the Thousand Island dressing. This was served to me in a TO GO BOX along with a pickle. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. The atmosphere was very nice with wood tables, a wood bar, checkered floor, etc. I wish though, that my EAT IN ORDER was placed on a plate. Everyone was eating out of boxes. This didn't fit the ambiance. THIS WAS THE BEST REUBEN I have had in years!! Warm, Delicious, Flavorful and Filling!! I highly recommend the Berghoff Cafe!! For the COMPLAINERS, why would you order a quesadilla at a German restaurant? It's like ordering fish at a steakhouse.

After our first two stops were a bust because there was just too many people to bother, we stopped at Kilwins and it was much more reasonable. They had a nice variety of ice cream and we ended up with one for each of us. The toddler chose blueberry waffle because she wanted the pink ice cream. She seemed to like it quite a lot because she ate almost all of her kid's scoop. The second was the Hodges Park Mud, which I chose for myself, and which was quite good; it was vanilla ice cream with caramel and small pieces of chocolate. And I got a half and half of vanilla and toasted coconut for my significant other. Yummy yummy all around! The employees were helpful and she gave me a punch card to get an ice cream free after nine, I think. It's Uptown Park Ridge so parking can look full, but there is plenty of parking around.
