This place was so pleasing to go to, every single time. Interior and exterior was already satisfactory enough, the smell of sweet, fruity delight wafted through the entire store which was an extra bonus. the people here are always so patient and let you choose for long enough, and if I ever needed help picking out flavors or what one was, I always got assistance. The ice cream itself i found very sweet and maybe overly rich, but i didn't mind too much because i could just distract myself with the toppings. This creamery has the highest of my expectations, being a local stable! read more

The options are truly endless. I'm a sucker for the sweet cream ice cream with pretzels and peanut butter mixed in. The staff is really nice even when super busy. They don't stop you from trying flavors and are patient when you're trying to make decisions. Not many people sit inside because their patio is really large. Plus it's super cold inside. CLOSED DURING HOURS OF OPERATION! Apparently, the Thin Middle aged Blonde woman and Tall African American Man that work here had pressing matters to attend to other than their job! I guess they don't see a problem in closing this store before the posted hours of operation.. I Showed up here around 9:30PM on a Tuesday evening, which I would have never thought would be an issue, considering the store hours posted online say 10PM, and Ive frequented the place after 9PM on several occasions.. At first I thought the online posted hours were wrong and they might have changed, but the hours on the door clearly 10PM as well.. The neon open sign was conveniently turned off as I was walking over from the parking lot... I walked up the door to confirm the hours and when I realized that the store was supposed to be open .. I looked at the lady and pointed to the sign.. She preceded to shrug her shoulders, and with a smirk on her face, pointed at the neon open sign which I had just witnessed being turned off.. I could have been more understanding of the situation if the employee would have been polite..Simple sorry for the inconvenience and/or given me a little explanation, but I was just shown indifference and irritation.... So.. On another note.. I love the ice cream here. It truly is unlike anything else! Unfortunately, due to these employees and their lack of professionalism, and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.. I won't be back to this location in person because I don't know if they will be open and I refuse to waste my time.. Which leaves me no option other than the higher prices and excessive fees that come with Uber eats or GrubHub, if I want to be able to enjoy any of the one of a kind ice cream that Cold Stone offers! I didn't realize that uploading a photo was possible when I decide to write this review or I would have taken a photo of the sign that was turned off with the employees inside, along with a time stamp to verify my claim.. Cold Stone has one of my favorite flavors of ice cream: Birthday Cake. I sometimes crave this flavor and know just the place to get it. I arrived at Cold Stone on a Friday evening and there were probably 4 people in front of me. I knew what I wanted to order so I was annoyed when the people in front of me couldn't make a decision. I was getting impatient. When it was my turn I ordered a like it birthday cake with rainbow sprinkles (so original). The guy mixed up my order and I was ready to go! It was just as good as I remembered it from the last time and I will continue to support their Birthday Cake flavor even when it is not my birthday. read more

Super disappointed in the service we received. Waited at the front to order for 10 minutes while 3 workers were working on door dash orders. One worker watched another clean a waffle iron and finally was told to take our order. Toppings were grabbed by their hand and THANKFULLY they were wearing a glove. Additionally the waffle bowl I ordered was grabbed by their hand instead of just around the cup. Finally get to eat my ice cream just to realize the waffle bowl is stale and barely breaks, unlike the crisp waffle bowl I was expecting. Touchfree ordering, online ordering and third party delivery are amazing additions to this already great ice cream store. They make ice cream fresh in the store everyday and it's the most amazing tasting ice cream in the universe! You can add fruits, candy, cakes and more to any ice cream. Don't miss their Signature Creations that are amazing. My favorite is the Banana Caramel Crunch which is French Vanilla Ice Cream with fresh bananas, roasted almonds and the perfect amount of their signature caramel. The store is clean and the crew is a ton of fun. Leave a tip and they will sing you a song too. You gotta give this place a try! read more

This place has always been great and the ice cream tastes amazing. HOWEVER, they closed 30 minutes early on a Saturday night leaving me and other customers walking up without ice cream. No excuses! Came in after a movie at Ronnie's, few people were in the store. This was our first time at cold stone. We were not greeted upon arrival. Having never been we aimlessly stood around waiting to something to happen. I order the small coffee with peanuts and the worker question my decision. Off to a great start we placed our other order that proceeded with further judgment. We order the same size and our serving were completely different. I was really disappointed in the cold stone creamery. I usually love Cold Stone and always get the Fantasy cheesecake Signature Ice cream. But the specific location always has the worse strawberries and blueberries. They are gross, rancid and probably rotten. I will never be eating here again. I live in California. My sister in law is in St. Louis Unfortunately she had bad news today. I ordered a cake through Uber eats. I called and spoke to Ashley, she right away went into action to make this happen for us. I wanted a message written. Then I called again and asked if she could write a handwritten message. We stopped in yesterday after wanting to try the Coffee Lovers for a while. So I knew what I wanted from the start. The Coffee Lovers Only has coffee ice cream, with caramel, almonds, and Heath pieces. It was delicious!! Jason ordered a strawberry blonde; strawberry ice cream with caramel, strawberries, whip cream, & graham crackers. The sizes are cute: like it, love it, and gotta have it. Ok 1. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, and couldn't really care less about ice cream generally. 2. On the rare chance that I DO get a hankering for some ice cream, Jeni's back home in Columbus, Ohio, was my go-to place. Not surprisingly, CSC didn't excite me in any way at all. While they had a decentish selection of flavors, none were creative nor inspiring. I also don't really get the idea of mixing crap like gummy bears and broken up candy bars into my ice cream either. So, instead I opted for a triple berry smoothie - raspberry, strawberry and blueberry. It was ok but nothing I couldn't have made at home for cheaper ($4+ for a smoothie?!?). Shame there were two massive lumps of ice in the cup. He had mint ice cream with chocolate shavings in a chocolate waffle bowl, and seemed to enjoy it. My daughter is not a cake person so she chose Cold Stone for her wedding dessert, and all I can say is "YUM"! Karen was awesome to work with, very sweet and helped the Bride and Groom relax during their tasting. She chose 3 different cupcakes, all had different cake, ice cream, fillings and toppings. Coffee, Vanilla Bean and Cheesecake, so good! Our guests were pleasantly surprised and it was definitely a hit with the kids. They were presented beautifully and seriously cost less that it would for a wedding cake for 150 guests. We also had a 1 layer ice cream cake that she could cut, with chocolate ganache drizzled down the sides, beautiful! I highly recommend checking them out for your wedding desserts! I went to cold stones last night and I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough with cake batter and I only got cake batter with chocolate chips and my friend ordered vanilla ice cream with caramel and fudge and cookie dough and she didn't get the cookie dough so she went inside and ask for a side of cookie dough and they just made her another one but she figured out that the lady was too lazy to restock it soooo that is why I'm giving this place a one star rating read more

This place is an excellent way to end your date with delicious ice cream! It's perfectly located right across from the movies theater, it has outdoor patio with table and chairs. You get to choose your own flavor ice cream and pick 1 or more toppings that you want then they will literally mix it on the ice-cold counter - really neat to watch your ice cream being mixed to perfection! Other times, we would swing by if we are craving for ice cream cake (midnight delight is very sinfully delicious, they do make the best ice cream cake out there! The prices are reasonable for ordering ice cream but the ice cream cakes may be slightly expensive. However, you can always slice it and split it up in containers then freeze them to enjoy them later on! read more

My son decided he wanted a custom Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cake for his 7th birthday. About a week before the big day, we got online and perused the many, MANY choices of cake flavor, ice cream, mix-ins, frostings, toppings, edgings etc. He spent a good hour choosing exactly what he wanted. It was his day, so that's the way it should be, right? After making his final selections, I paid by credit card and I thought we were set. We weren't. My husband went to pick up the cake on my son's birthday and guess what? They just didn't even make it! No excuse really, they just didn't do it. They were very apologetic and gave us a $10 refund and allowed us to choose the same size cake in their ready-made flavors. NOT what my son wanted and frankly, it wasn't very good. Not that my son's selections would have been any better but at least he would have gotten what he wanted on his big day. Shame on you, Cold Stone Creamery! read more

This is by far my favorite ice cream shop in St. Louis. Not only are the ice cream and mix-ins (NOT toppings!) excellent, but the team members and owner are truly special people. They accommodated our rowdy group today without batting an eye--and with humor and graciousness aplenty. My very first time at Cold Stone Creamery! The best thing about the place is Dylan, who was working that day! He explained how it all works, let me taste a few flavors, and was totally patient! My partner knew exactly what to order, but I'm just a tad more indecisive. The place is clean and friendly. If I had one complaint it would be that there isn't real hot fudge. Dylan heated up the "hot fudge" for me, but I know my hot fudge and that was warm chocolate syrup. Otherwise Dylan would be the reason for our return! Cold Stone's lucky to have him!!!! Do not attempt this place on a fri or sat night, it's next to a movie theater and it's busy, so much so that the staff is either angry, overwhelmed or oblivious, not to mention impatient. They don't mind allowing people to line jump, so be a good self advocate there, for some reason a mid 50s man was less patient than my 12 year old and that's ok. If you never have been to Cold Stone it's a little different and takes time while waiting in line to figure out how it all works because they explain nothing and are exasperated when you don't know their terminology. My order was wrong I had specifically asked for mine in a cone cup because I'm driving, taking it home and figured the high walls of the cone would reduce it melting out of the cup, instead she crammed a small scoop, a whole brownie and sauces into a tiny cup no cone, so I'm like no I asked for the cone cup, and she's like yea sorry then goes on to the next customer ... wow... really? So at check out another one is impatient because at first I didn't know what an addin was.. she spoke fast, she was really put out explaining Add In as in what other than ice cream is in your orders.. so We're getting ringed up and I'm explained I had ordered mine with the cone cup and I'm driving so..... Yea she didn't care. So then I'm trying to solve my own problem of over flowing messing ice cream already dripping outside the cup and I say could I please have one of the bigger cups to put this in to get it home? So she impatiently grabs mine with bare hands and drops it into another flipping small cup! The same size!! I'm just about to lose it but I'm like whatever fine no bigger cup, she's touched my ice cream with bare hands and so I'll wrap the sides with napkins and go, so i go to pick it up and instantly realize that the bottom of the cup is light, as in it didn't get all pushed down so it's top heavy and I lifted from the bottom of the cup so it pretty much just fell out of my hand on the counter... again, they don't care, so I just pitched it in the trash can next to the register and yep, they didn't care, so we leave and I paid an astronomical amount for nothing, rude treatment and crappy service. Here's a news flash kiddos, you have that job at cold stone because it's BUSY if you can do busy then don't work there. Where were the adults? Not a kid working there over 18. Btw your delivery guy, uh he needs a belt, he was in getting a order to take and I kid you not, his pants in the back we're under his butt, completely, as in your looking at a guy with his pants half down and underwear showing where yand he's bringing you food... seriously get it together there. read more
