I looove that Jeni's serves half sized scoops so you can try more flavors! Their dairy free options were delicious too, they tasted just as creamy as the dairy flavors. Lines can be long but they move quickly. Definitely ask for samples if you're worried about liking a certain flavor (but you really can't go wrong!)

Came on a weekend and there was quite a line. Waited around 10 min in total and got 2 half scoops - 1 dark chocolate and 1 brambleberry. I thought the 2 balanced each other well and the waffle cone piece was freshly made. Service was fast and I felt a bit rushed but probably because they were so busy. Prices are definitely on the higher end.

I have to say, my love of Jeni's has really grown over the years. I used to be a Clementine's snob; however, Jeni's commitment to making tons of allergy friendly ice creams that are DELICIOUS has made me realize I love both Jeni's and Clementine's equally. The amazing flavors they have here bring me so much joy every time I eat them. Furthest, the staff are INCREDIBLY nice every time I have ever been there, no matter how busy they are. Just an overall awesome experience every time and I am so happy to give them my business.

I've come here before and the line was super long but when I came tonight on a fall Monday night it wasn't busy at all. They let you sample the flavors which is super nice and fun to do. I was with a lactose intolerant friend and we planned to share because we had a coupon for three scoops. They only had two dairy free options, it might have been nice if they had one more, but both were good and we were happy when we tried the Texas sheet cake flavor. I think the way they do "half scoops" is a little confusing. They just use a smaller scoop than normal so two scoops is equal to one elsewhere. They do it so you can try more flavors but it was a little confusing until you see the portion they give you. I think three scoops was plenty for me and my friend to share. I liked that they had compost options for their dishes and it's well lit. I would come back for a sweet treat!

Jeni's hits the spot every time! Also love that they are a place that's open later so we can swing by for dessert after dinner. Every flavor I try, I really like. I haven't been disappointed by a flavor yet. Love that they also have dairy free options. Went to try their new summer flavors and they were so good. Service is always good. They're very nice about us sampling multiple Flavors. Place is nice and bright and really clean.

I love that Jeni's is always coming up with new flavors, and I love their hours because I can rely on them to be open later than other places, even on the weeknights. I love that we can sample any flavor any time and they never have a problem with it! My go-to flavor is always the Brown Butter Almond Brittle. I always look for another fun flavor, and this time I was excited to try the new summer flavors. 2 scoops were filling for one person! If you sign up for their rewards program, you also get a free scoop for your birthday!

We came here for late night dessert. I don't come here often but my visits have been pleasant. I really like the icecream here - they have a great selection, with unique flavor, including dairy free and gluten free option ( which is another huge plus). Icecream tasted fresh and not overly sweet. I also love that they do half scoop so you can try more flavors. My favorite here is the Tropical bloom (mandarin/kiwi/passionfruit) and the Green Mint Chip. Service was above and beyond. The store is clean and tidy. Love that they open till mid night!!!

Jeni's, I like you quite a lot, though I've only visited you twice. Your ice cream is very good quality and has variety in composition and flavor. You're in a nice spot in the Central West End next to a bookstore and across from a couple of restaurants. You have plenty of seating. You offer unlimited samples. You have big windows to view passersby. The only way you could be better and get more of my business is if you were Clementine's a couple of blocks down the Euclid.

When I walked in the employees were really nice and greeted me. This was mt first time being here and I've heard good things about the establishment. The young lady that assisted me allowd me to try a couple of flavors before deciding on what I wanted. She even suggested some flavors that are paired well together. I do like the fact that they allow you to sample flavors on a metal spoon which to me saves the environment from unwanted plastic. I settled on a scoop of the lemon bar and wild lavender flavors. Overall, it tasted really good and my favorite was the lemon bar. I will say the prices are a bit steep here because it eneded up being a little over $9 for an ice cream come with two scoops. Yikes! Not sure if they rotate flavors out depending on the season but the lemon bar was the star of the show. As always until next time...

A little frozen treat after a nearby Dr appt. I was a Jeni's first timer, the 1.2 scoop kind of puzzled me, BUT one taste and I knew why. Their ice cream is like no other...smooth, rich, creamy, & full of flavor. I couldn't finish my 2 half scoops. And how about the crunchy waffle cone triangle- love it!! The single worker was so kind. He explained their flavors, offered us tastes of any flavor requested, and was a joy to talk to. I wish it wasn't far away because I would be there more often.

Sorry, I had to take a few bites before I realized I didn't take a picture yet!

Last night after dinner I decided to try a new place for dessert in the CWE, and I've always gone to "Clementines" so I decided to try "Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream" and I have to say, it was just that "Splendid"!! I had a "2 half scoop dish" with a mint and chip and a peanut butter and chip and it was amazing! They had a lot of flavors to choose from and the server was very helpful to let me taste about 4 different flavors, which amazingly came on "real" cute little spoons! I definitely want to try this place again (possibly again tonight!) and experience the cute ambiance and flavors once more!!

My favorite ice cream shop to date. Always a hit, probably because their flavors are more sophisticated and elevated than your average ice cream shop. Blackberry bramble is always a winner for me. The server was so nice today too! Gave us lots of friendly suggestions. The inside is so cute and aesthetic. A must if you're having dinner (or a sweet craving) in the area.

Jeni's is so good for a late night dessert run. I love how it's open late even on weeks nights. If you're with someone you like, then you can definitely share the "study" size rather than getting two "standards" to save a little money for the same amount of ice cream. I love to try different flavors so I appreciate the half scoops, but wish the tray had sections so they wouldn't all melt together so much. Their flavors are a little safe, but still delicious and lean on the sweeter, richer side. We chose the gooey butter cake, brown butter almond brickle, and the honey vanilla bean. My only complaint is I wish they had more flavor options to choose from.

It definitely lives up to the hype in terms of popularity--the place was packed even at 10:30 PM, but the line moved quickly thanks to their efficient service. The concept is simple: the custard starts with a vanilla base, and you can customize it with a variety of toppings. They also offer a few other flavor options, so there's plenty to choose from. We tried a couple of different custards, and while they were good, I honestly didn't find them as exceptional as I expected given all the buzz. The flavors were enjoyable, but I felt they were a bit overpriced for what you get compared to other frozen dessert shops. One thing that surprised me was how quickly the custard started to melt, even before I had eaten much of it. Overall, it's worth trying if you're visiting St. Louis since it's such an iconic local spot, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype. It may be a beloved hometown favorite, but I'm not sure it's a must-visit destination for everyone.

We shared a few things and I will say, they split the plates for us and it was awesome. I was a big fan of the food in general. But my complaint the first time here was timing of service, and looks like it's a continuous issue for them. It's a bummer because I would love to come back, and maybe if we're not starving and in the mood for a long drawn out meal, we'll come back, but definitely not going to be a regular spot for us.

I'd attend such a meeting, but more so for the lulz (but also to share my beliefs). I'm pleased to report that there's none of that going on here, that I'm aware of. Granted, this was a Sunday morning. I was there with my running group as part of our ongoing unofficial breakfast burrito tour, the last such stop until this fall, due to upcoming marathon training. Of course it was the most unpleasant day of the year, maybe ever, with a heat index of 117 (no hyperbole). I changed shirts before I came in and then sweated through that shirt as well. One of the ladies I was with left a gross pool of sweat in her chair after she left. It didn't occur to me to pull a Charlamagne tha God until hours later. I'm growing as a human being. Part of that growth is gradually coming to realize that seasonal lattes, unless they have sort of especially distinct flavor, like banana, aren't going to taste like anything other generic artificial sweetener, let alone what they purport to be. I considered ordering an iced caramel latte, but I figured what the heck. I went with something called a Miso Brown Sugar Latte. It was good for what it was, but I don't know that anyone, if you gave it to them to try, could identify it as that. I liked the fact that it had a somewhat more pronounced coffee flavor, compared to some places where it mostly just tastes like a glass of milk. I wasn't as crazy about the fact that it took a while for the ice cubes to cool it down, probably longer than it would have taken if it were served in a glass cup. I went with something called the Annex Burrito, which I didn't realize until after I ordered it is not the only burrito they carry. I guess you can also get a bog-standard breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs and cheese. This one comes with corn, beans and some sort of unidentified crema for the same amount. Maybe they give you less bacon. Mine didn't have a lot of bacon, but the bacon it did have was not crisp and had a precooked vibe. The latter was more of an issue for me than the former. I'm a savage in that way. I did appreciate the fact that it was griddled, possibly using a panini press. The exterior was ever so slightly crisp, while the interior was pizza roll-level molten. The overall vibe was similar to those microwave burritos they used to carry at 7-11, but in a good way. All I needed was a mini truck enthusiast magazine filled with photos of bikini-clad Latinas and a Windex-blue Slurpee, but I was able to make do with a lukewarm mystery latte and the old ladies I run with. I'm resourceful.
